Stay was good, very nice and well maintained room, only thing is that wi-fi is terrible,the slowest i ever had in any hotel..... and if for any reason you need to use it you better choose another hotel unless they change server....

Badly needs more wireless bandwidth. Housekeeping was inconsistent but ok. Sofa was worn. But overall it was large, comfortable, attractive and close to the delightful town of Canmore and Banff.

Even though our stay at the Copperstone Resort was short, we had a great time visiting with friends in the area. We had all the conveniences of home in this great 'condo-like' accommodation and we so enjoyed the mountain views and fresh mountain air. Excellent Stay for the both of us. We slept in beds that were so comfortable that we will need to find out the name of the mattress manufacturer. I have insomnia but I slept like a baby all four nights. We felt like we were in five star accomodations. Thank-you for making our stay in Canada a part of our wonderful experience.

Booked here, thinking it was closer to Banff (yes my bad research). If you want to be near Banff then this is not for you as it's a 30- 40 minute drive. It was great having 2 separate bedrooms, kitchen and a laundry. Noise level through the units was terrible. We had people with kids staying above us, who didn't go to bed until after 11 and then were […] up at 6, running, jumping, sounded like they were going to come through the roof. WiFi was terrible, barely worked the first night, then didn't work at all after that. There is also nothing around the area, so you need to shop in Canmore or Banff. The staff servicing the apartments should be fired. Beds not tucked in, dirty towels not collected (they gave us fresh ones but didn't collect the dirty ones), benches not wiped. We booked for a single room with den. Upon arrival, we were given a two bedroom :). We were very happy with the location and price of the hotel. The hot tub was nice and the covered parking made us feel secure. The only 3 downfalls were: 1. The wireless Internet only worked 50% of the time 2.the baseboards and airfilter were gross. Lots of dust dustbunnies […] under and behind beds 3. The dishwasher was incredibly loud. We just ran it while we were gone. Small complaints. Overall, VERY satisfied. Read more

The hotel is actually located in Dead Mans Flats, a few kilometers east of Canmore which is several kilometers east of Banff. There is nothing in Dead Mans Flats except a gas station with a few groceries. There are two major grocery stores in Canmore (Safeway and COOP) so do your shopping there. The room was large with enough utensils in the kitchen […] to cook with. There is a large (12 person) spa/jacuzzi that was very nice after a day of hiking. WiFi is slow, but free. It was a great place. the location is not far from Banff( less than 20 minutes from Banff town). The facilities of the hotel are convenient, neat and clean( I love the kitchen the most). I think I cannot find a better place for a family vacation than Copperstone.

The resort is part hotel part vacation condo on sale. The location is just off Hwy 1 at a non descriptive location, one diner and one gas station nearby, no view or neighborhood to claim about, plain as can be. Car must park in […] the garage, you need to check in to get the key card in order to go in the garage, so everyone just parked near the road while waiting for check-in. We booked a two bed room, one with queen bed one with bunk bed. The room has everything ready, TV, DVD, Radio, cooking pans and utentils, if you are like us who were on the road for almost a week, you may also be thankful for the opportunity to cook a few meals at the hotel. The hot tub is right in the center of the compound, and people do drop in to enjoy it. Overall, we are satisified with it, clean, big room, not fancy but surely practical. Great option if you are looking for convenience and comfort. Fully equipped kitchen, grill, washer and dryer in the suite, 2 TVs, DVD, hot tub, underground parking. The only downside is the location, but if you have a car it is only 5 min drive to Canmore and maybe 15 min to Banff. We loved it!

It was fine during the days when I had full-day activities, but there was a day or two when it would've been nice to head back to the hotel between activities to relax, change clothes, etc. Being further away, I had to plan my days more thoroughly to keep from making long trips from the hotel to Banff. Excellent facility and we are already planning to go back next year. The hot tub and BBQ's in the court yard were a nice touch and it's a $20.00 cab ride to Canmore if you're looking for some night life.

Rooms were nicely equipped and comfortable. Everything worked, rooms were well insulated so you didn't hear other guests around you. Staff were friendly and efficient. Neighborhood was very quiet and peaceful. The only negative thing was the state of the cushions on the couches. They were very worn and tattered.

Copperstone Resort was perfect! The location was great. It is located in a nice, quiet, scenic spot and is just a short drive to Canmore or Banff. Much better than staying directly in the town of Banff which tends to get VERY busy and congested with tourists. Also close to the Stoney Nakoda Casino for something to do at night. This resort appeared to be a condo or time-share outfit that was renting rooms like a hotel. We booked here because we wanted a full kitchen, plus room for four adults. The room was modern, clean, and comfortable, and met our needs fully. My only real complaint is that the thermostat was difficult to figure out. The room was 26 degrees (C) after we […] started cooking dinner, but the A/C wouldn't turn on until it reached 30! It took a lot of pushing of buttons to get the A/C to come on. Another issue that might be a concern for some is that there is no fence around the property. Ground floor rooms have back doors and patios that anyone on the street can walk up to. It's a very small town, so it didn't bother me, but others might not like this. I guess they could request a room on a higher floor. Finally, the property is a 5-10 minute drive from Canmore toward Calgary. Just realize this if planning to use this hotel as a base of operations for Banff. Read more

Clean and quiet, this condo type hotel has spacious room with a well-stocked kitchen. You could cook a dinner and do your laundry at the same time. And you have two TV to watch different program, plus a stereo radio/MP3 player on your desk. The only minor disappointment is the supposedly provided Internet connection wasn't there.

The picture for this hotel does not give it justice. This is more like a time share unit. With a washer/dryer, full kitchen and 2 bedrooms that were immaculate, modern and tastefully decorated, what a pleasant surprise. This is a beautiful and relaxing facility especially after a day of hiking in Banff or Lake Louise. The only downside of this resort is its location to Banff. It is 20 miles east of Banff.
