The Rodeway Inn, Bellows Falls, Vt, was in the process of remodeling. That said, it was pleasant and comfortable. The room was big, also providing a small table and refridgerator. The bathroom was exceptionally large and clean. Heat could be set to a personal choice. A continental breakfast was provided for free. The telephone did not seem to work, but that was the only inconvinience. Overall, although not a four star motel, it met all our needs, was comfortable, clean and quiet. We would be happy to stay again.

We stayed for one night at this hotel while traveling, and it was the most comfortable bed I slept in the entire week. The hot breakfast was great. The pool was small, as was the fitness room, but the room was clean and comfortable. If you are looking for a comfy spot to rest for the night, this is it!

"A Gem in Brattleboro"
Staying in bed and breakfasts is always a surprise. Some don't have heat, some don't have hot water, some are overly cluttered, all in the name of charm. The 1868 Crosby house is NONE of the above. This B and B is truly a gem. Lynn is a gracious host who has thought of virtually everything to make her guests feel welcome. She sees this as her business […] and not just a chance to recoup some of her investment. It is her business, and she does it exceptionally well. "Nice and quiet!"
I only stayed overnight (was in town for a conference), but I had a wonderful stay. The innkeepers were very hospitable and nice. I enjoyed a DELICIOUS breakfast the next morning (which was catered to my picky eating habits!). I was the only guest this particular night, so I enjoyed the peace and quiet. My room had a small TV with cable, VCR, and […] DVD player. The bathroom seemed fairly new and was very clean. The shower was big, and the shower head was high (which is important to me, being 6'5"). The bed was very comfortable, and I loved the antique furniture. Overall, I had a great overnight stay! "Don't Stay Anywhere Else"
Absolutely best B&B we've ever stayed in. From the moment we arrived, we felt as if we were the most important guests. Lynn gave us a tour showing where the games and movies could be found, shared with us that the fridge of waters and sodas were complimentary at any time and made sure we understood how the 24-hr (good!) coffee and cocoa worked. Our […] room had a cozy, working fireplace, and the dual-head shower was a nice surprise. We were given the option of choosing our breakfast time with coffee and juice arriving on a tray a half hour prior. After our delicious hot breakfast, Lynn made certain to point out the available snowshoeing gear (free!) and helped us understand the trail just behind the house. The Crosby house is a fine b&b within walking distance of brattleboro. The house was well kept and the grounds are bueatiful with many areas to sit and relax including a hammock. This was like going back in time with even the air conditioning unit being vintage! We only had one night in the guest house and it was a wonderful experience. From the first minute we were made to feel like friends by Sue and Christine. The house is immaculate, inside and out. Ein hübsches fast 200 Jahre altes Neuenglandhaus, nahezu original eingerichtet, aber dennoch mit dem Komfort eines modernen Badeszimmers, einer Kaffeemaschine und Wlan. Ein großer Park hinter dem Haus lädt mit Liegestühlen, Hängematte und Pavillion zum Verweilen ein. Die Hauswirtin Lynn ist ganz reizend. Sie lebt schon über 40 Jahre mit ihrem Mann hier, […] hat hier ihre Kinder großgezogen. Eine halbe Stunde vor der von uns gewünschten Frühstückszeit bekommen wir Kaffee auf's Zimmer gebracht. Das Frühstück selbst wird in Lynn`s Kaminzimmer eingenommen. Alle Gäste, also 6, sitzen hier zusammen am Tisch. Das Frühstück wird frisch von Lynn zubereitet. Es besteht aus frischem Bratapfel, dann Ham-Cheese-Omlett mit Vollkornbrot, Toast, Butter, hausgemachte Marmelade, Kaffee, Orangensaft, einfach köstlich. Lynn erklärt uns, wie wir gleich vom Haus aus auf die verschiedenen Wanderwege gelangen können. Doch leider fehlt uns die Zeit dafür. Es reicht nur für einen Rundgang durch die Stadt.
