We enjoyed our stay at Mon Choisy Beach resort. Our room was really very good. My only complaint is it could have WIFI in the room. There is only a cable for internet in the rooms which won't work for tablets. WIFI is available in front of the reception and at the pool. Security guards are very friendly. Garden is well maintained. Pool is perfect. No restaurant in the hotel, but there a restaurants at walking distance from the hotel. We would go there again.

The Grand Mauritian is a professionally run and very nice hotel resort in the Turtle Bay area of Mauritius. It is best suited for families or those seeking to relax and separate themselves from the outside world. If you're looking to connect with the culture of Mauritius and easily see its sights, then The Grand Mauritian might not be the best choice. It is an area comprised solely of resorts, so one is not able to head out on foot, and anything you might want to see or any restaurant or shopping is at least a 30 minute taxi drive away. As a result, you're left with the resorts entertainment and food for most (if not all) of your stay. Still, the beach was very nice, quiet and relaxing. And, the resort offers many watersports for free. Recommended for families or those seeking to break away from the grind.

Situated in Calodyne, Calodyne Sur Mer is close to Cap Malheureux Beach. Additional area attractions include Grand Bay Beach and Pereybere Beach.
