The Plush Hotel was a lovely place to stay. The staff was friendly and helpful. The food was decent. The room was spacious and comfortable. I would have appreciated better pillows. The grounds were gorgeous. It was close to the airport which was convenient for our early flight out the next morning and the staff were willing to set breakfast out early for us so long as we told them what time we needed to leave. I would stay there again.

Very clean and modern room. Everyone who worked there was super nice. Convenient to have pub next door. Breakfasts were great, continental and made to order main dishes. A pub with good food and board games a few minute car drive away. Only down side is it's right off the freeway so you can hear cars outside and is hard to find (although innkeepers were very helpful directing us to the hotel -- we called a few times for directions and had no gps)

"Great room, expensive parking, 76 stairs no lift"
My wife and I were vacationing in the UK for 2 weeks, 2 nights of which were at the Parade Park in Bath. The staff could NOT be friendlier or more helpful, the breakfasts were delicious, their instructions helpful, their cocktails and beers were tasty and perfectly made. The room was immaculately, cleaned, the hotel extremely well kept, and the location […] was literally a 2 minute walk from the Roman Baths, the Minster, and the various hotspots. The only negative really was that we were on the top, which while quiet, was a pain in the butt after a day of sightseeing, let alone carrying 20kg bags, when one has to climb 76 stairs to reach our room. "perfect place to sleep"
The location was excellent. Breakfast was good too. Personnel were great! the only bad thing was no elevator. We were in the third floor (4th if you count ground). "Romantic Getaway with Charachter"
We splurged for their premium room with a four poster bed and en suite bathroom so I can't speak for the less expensive rooms. Bath was experiencing extreme weather when we arrived soaked to the skin. The staff couldn't have been more helpful in getting us settled in. We were told at checkin that the rain had caused some wallpaper to come loose in our […] room and that they could accomodate a room change the second day but they did not have another room for the first night. It did not prove to be a problem. The hotel is an extremely old building with more than a few quirks, such as the lack of a lift, but it proved to be the perfect romantic getaway for this middle age couple and the location, less than five minutes from the train station or the Abbey and the Baths made it perfect for a vacation without an automobile. My wife and I stayed for two nights and loved it. It was the best price we found while making reservations only 2 weeks in advance and the location was amazing. From our window we could see the abbey, the downtown gardens, and the rugby field. We were within 5 minutes walk of the spas, Roman Baths and the shopping districts. I'd booked a 3-single bed room with ensuite so was a bit dubious as to how much space we'd have but the room was bit and the bathroom was big too - although the shower was not up to much! "Basic but good location"
As the title says, the hotel is basic but for a short stay in the city it is ideal as it's located practically next door to the Abbey and Roman baths. The rooms are warm and comfortable and have the usual kettle and TV. The complementary breakfast is a nice touch even if it did feel like stepping back into the 1980s with the food that was on offer. The location is perfect, literally 5 minute walk from the baths and the Abbey. Close to the Train station as well. The hotel is dated and the cleanliness standard is not very high. I meant to take a picture of wrappers and other garbage on a bench seat below the window but forgot. This garbage was there when we checked in and there when we checked out. Missed all breakfast meals as they stop at 9:15am. Sort of defies the point of being on holiday if you can't have a good lie in. Very small room could hardly move around the bed. "Paying for the location"
Ideal location if exploring the centre of Bath, and if you are lucky enough (as we were) to have a room at the front, great views. Unfortunately our room didn't have hot water or heating, so we were moved to a another room which eventually had hot water (when left running for long enough) but again, no heating (not ideal at the end of November!), however, […] we were given a fan heater. As I mentioned, the rooms at the front have great views but the only draw back is the noise level of passers by (we were on the 2nd floor) as the windows are the lovely old sash windows, they don't keep the cold or noise out so if you are a light sleeper, take some earplugs or request a room at the back. Check in is from 3pm, checkout by 11am - unfortunately, the only place to leave luggage is in front of the reception desk - far from ideal but anything of particular value could be left behind reception desk. Breakfast was a very basic "continental" buffet. Night staff friendly but disappointed at the attitude of the day receptionist who didn't seem to care that the rooms didn't have any heating. Would I stay here again? No - I'd prefer to pay a little extra for creature comforts (like hot water & heating!) and a better service. Would I recommend it?
