Tiki Village International - Surfers Paradise

The rooms which overlook the pool have a nice aspect, so long as there are not screaming kids. Internet is charged through a provider.

It is nice, convenient and the most important thing is the location which is almost close to main parts of GC funs.

Quite good except for: (1) Initially allocated & given the key to a room that was already occupied - quite an embarrassing experience (2) Basement carpark was like a labyrinth with no exit signage

Hubby and I were on the Gold Coast for 5 days, we stayed at Vibe, Raddison and the Crowne Plaza. We moved around due to rates and some trips so kept ending up back on the coast. Our last night was at the Crowne Plaza and we wished all of our nights were there. The hotel has been remodelled and has fantastic clean, spacious and modern rooms which is always principle concern for me. The location is a bit out of the heart of Surfers which is a good thing and the staff were very very helpful. Our room even had a view of the ocean from the bed and we didn't pay for an upgrade or anything. After being at 3 other hotels plus seeing inside a few others I can honestly say book here you won't be disappointed!

Thank God this was my 1st place I stayed in Surfers. No hassle, everything was wonderful and the parking was even lovier. My only gripe was the bed was a tad short for a 5'10 person and so-so comfry. My key was waiting for me upon check-in and the receptionist was really understanding. Things went really smooth! The other arrangements I've encountered In Surfers has been a serious bait and switch ordeal to the 11th hour.
