This was a wonderful place for us as a family. The people were very friendly and helpful. The room was clean, comfortable and the breakfast offered a delightful assortment of foods of a very good quality. Our dinner there was delicious. The setting of the hotel is lovely--right by a small stream and the walk is less than five minutes to Europa Park. We stayed there for two very restful nights at a reasonable price. Our last day there, we checked out of our room, stored our luggage in a safe location, and then the owner of the hotel drove us to our train stop at the end of the day--as a personal courtesy. I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone and everyone. We could not have been more pleased with our stay.

Our stay was a memoraable one! The area was beautiful and peaceful. The owners were friendly and very helpful, they offered us a ride to the local train stop twice! It was very much appreciated! I would definately book with them again.

We stayed at this hotel after a visit to Europa Park. The hotel offers family rooms (for 4), which is very convenient. Rooms and hotel is very clean, rooms are functional, nothing extraordinary. Very nice breakfast buffet, friendly service. Overall a good location visiting Europa Park

but with horrible traffic noises from certain rooms... also a long walk from the train station with luggage if you don't know where you're going... but really friendly great feel, worth the inconvenience... despite the noise the view was perfect and the hosts were excellent

"the hotel kirnbacher hof"
excellent and kind attitude towards turists. excellent conditions of the roomand very taisty beakfast. very pleasant atmosfere. We enjoyed very much staying there.
"Great for hiking"
A nice hotel that has been owned by the same family for three or four generations. The food at the restaurant was excellent, and as a bonus the chef had lots of great hiking recommendations and speaks fluent English. Much better source of information that the three TIs that we visited.
"Excellent stay"
The rooms are excellent. The location is serene and totally exceeds expectations if you are truly looking for a relaxed vacation. I might comment on the food - excellent excellent! We could relish every meal . The price for the stay and the dinner is very very reasonable Most people speak only German but there were 2 people who could speak English , […] which was convenient. You could explore nearby Strasbourg or Colmar but I wouldn't recommend this to be a place to serve as a base to drive around, It would make more sense to just take in the scenery and explore the area near by. We spent 2 great nights in the hotel, the staffs were always friendly and helpful. The service is worth of every penny we paid for. I would also recommend the restraunt and it's awarded menu. Overall the food was great.
