It was a bad experience....way too expensive ($68) for the conditions and location of the hotel. Extreme noise, smoking rooms next to non smoking... Horrible. We could not sleep at all due to people noise and inconsiderate behavior.

Extremely noisy....not only for the proximity of the freeway, but especially for people continually slamming doors until well past midnight, and talking very loudly. In addition, our no-smoking room was next to a smoking room occupied by 4 smokers...terrible and unpleasant smoke smell the entire time.....

When you walk up, it seems to have the potential to be horrible, however, we found the room clean and comfortable. Its definitely not new, and there are no frills, but it is better than I had expected for the price. I would stay here again.

This not an opulent hotel, as its name implies. The hotel was clean and comfortable, and the grounds were neat and tidy. It is a bit close to the freeway, but with double-pane windows noise was kept to a minimum. I asked for and received a top-floor corner room, something I appreciated. I would stay there again.

I am pretty sure we won't stay in this hotel chain again unless its the only place available. No coffee pot, very uncomfortable bed, old old TV, no extra pillows, no counter to put the toiletries on, very small but clean, no iron. Not worth the money for sure.

The furniture is in poor condition. The rugs are in bad condition. The room is tiny. The bedspread was dirty. The room smelled of disinfectant with moldy overtones.I requested a queen-sized bed, I received the smallest queen bed imaginable. We normally sleep on a queen and this motel's offering wasn't a queen. No coffee maker, not even a bag for dirty […] laundry. Kids were outside my room's door, smoking pot in their car. I had to run the fan in the front-facing AC unit to vent the aforementioned room odor.The fan was sucking the pot smoke right into my room. I spoke to the front desk, who was too busy to attend to the problem stating "we're with customers right now". What am I?? Anyway, I spoke to the kids, we came to an agreement that They wouldn't smoke near the motel and I wouldn't cause them trouble. The night clerk was a total jerk. I asked for another pillow and blanket. He threw his keys on the front desk and acted as though I was repossessing his car! Next morning, I asked the kid attending the front desk if he could direct me to a certain highway that I knew was close-by but desired the easiest way to access the highway. He spoke broken English and never heard of the highway, Neither by it's route number nor it's local name. The lady cleaning the room did know exactly how to access the road and was very gracious. Someone should exchange the front desk staff with the real customer-oriented personnel. All things considered, this motel is depressing. Read more

For the price you can't expect too much. It is noisy due to close proximity to 101, but I managed to overcome that by keeping the bathroom fan going, which provided background noise. It was a last-minute decision to stay in Pentaluma, and Hotels.com helped us find this establishment. It worked out nicely for a night. The room was small but clean and included a fridge and microwave. I would have no problem going back. It is right next to a casino, which might be a consideration for some people. But we had no problem.

Making a late reservation for an event in Petaluma, this was the most reasonably priced alternative for a 3-day stay. The location abuts the freeway and the location feels exposed. Pool is small, unheated, but clean. The rooms were small, but clean. The 'continental breakfast' was sparse and not very good, but the coffee was decent enough. The staff […] was taciturn. If you need an inexpensive night or two in Petaluma, or on the road from somewhere to somewhere else and this is a convenient place to stop, and if your expectations are just a clean, comfortable bed and a shower, you will not be disappointed. This is one of Americas Best Value Inn & Suites properties by there own web site rating. Don't get me wrong. This is a budget inn. The room is small, but it had what I was looking for, microwave, fridge, WiFi. It would be nice if they offered a king bed, but they don't.

This a one star: Motel 6 type. The room had no dresser, clock, radio or coffee pot. The sidewalks were filthy and it was next to a very noisy freeway. At the price I paid, I feel ripped off.

The hotel was comfortable but rooms were small. Furniture was worn and outdated. Appliances were old. The toilet leaked. It was simple and convenient. Continental breakfast was cheap and limited. The shower was good but there was a leak where it was plumbed in, so water shot out, so one has to be careful that the shower curtain is stuck to the shower wall or the floor gets wet. This was a very pleasant stay. The property is far enough from the freeway that we did not hear any noise. Even though there is a casino next door we never heard anything from that property. If you are looking for relatively comfortable and clean room at a low price this is the place. The breakfast does leave a lot to be desired though.

I would rather pay twice as much elsewhere before staying here again. Place stinks like old sweaty feet, sheets were gross and dirty. Pillows had sweat stains on them, or who knows what else. I would have been better off sleeping in a tent next to the highway. WARNING.. STAY AT YOUR OWN RISK...
