I ended up booking at this hotel because it was the cheapest one during spring break.The front desk staff was unwelcoming when I checked in. Basically repeated a scripted line so fast I barely understood what she said. The room was super small and AC/Heating was noisy. I had to turn it off at night to get some sleep. Over all the hotel was very nice and we will definitely consider it again. The major drawback is that it has some of the smallest rooms of any hotel at which I've ever stayed. Every person in our group thought the rooms were particularly tiny.

You can't beat this hotel for the rate. Room was VERY small, but had everything needed for business travel, including convenient cafe downstairs, nice lounge area on first floor. Room was bit snug for two, but my wife and I didn't mind the close quarters. Loved the modern style of the bathroom and didn't miss having a tub. The doormen and valets were especially helpful and friendly. We were glad that the wi-fi was free.

Great location but almost thought the Hotel was going out of business. Hotel bar had barely any stock, room was small and had damage to walls and ceiling. Room was clean and staff was nice. I would stay there again only because of the location.

LM Bistro was substandard-fare was inedible and beer was not cold. Veggiies and tuna were flat with salade niscose. / Doormen, deskmen and bartender were all very pleasant./ Bed was great. / Music did not work without advertisements when I chose the 'continuous music.'/ Would stay there again.

Great location. Very clean, modern hotel in the heart of the city. We've stayed there couple times. Good value. Great service. Walking distance to all shopping. My only gripe is about their room size. The single standard queen rooms are tiny. Very nice, clean and comfortable...but tiny. Next time we're going to book a room with two beds.

I like this hotel. the location is terrific, the service is fine, the rooms are small but the rates I got were amazing, so I was fine about the room size.. But the pillows were, perhaps, the worst I have EVER had in a hotel room! If the rate was a little cheaper, I wouldn't complain so much, but with less expensive choices around, the little things added up enough that I'd choose those less nicer, less 'hip' options for my next quick stay in the area. I don't mind a small room, but I was one person and business travelers should know that the workspace is more a shelf, than […] a table, big enough for a laptop, but you won't be able to spread out any paper work, unless you do it on the (rather nice) bed. There's a (big for the room) shower, no tub - I guess a LEED thing I should have realized, but a deal-killer was no in-room coffee machine. The street noise reached the 5th floor, through seemingly thin windows, the hall and other room noise was un-ignorable, and the room HVAC was a few decibels less than a helicopter. The guy walking his crying baby around the hallways in the middle of the night is just the luck of the draw, can't blame the kid, he was probably crying about the rate. Also be aware that at the time of my review, there is a large construction site next to the building. The staff was apathetic - I didn't expect 1st class service, but at least ask how my stay was. And the room had a slight smell - perhaps just memories of the last time I stayed in that building many years and lifetime's ago - when it was a low-rent, transient hotel. In 1990, my weekly rate was half of today's night rate, and the room was more than twice the size. Read more

My overall experience was good but I was somewhat disappointed by my experience at Hotel Felix. The personnel went from very nice and warm to indifferent depending on who you talked to. The room was small but with a nice setup. Sadly, there was not much room, if any, to put my clothes out of my bag. Also, there was no coffee maker, which is not essential […] but would have been very much appreciated. The bathroom had great care products and a nice shower but had some water issues (the first one was fixed promptly, the second one not really). The sink had little depth, which ,meant having your hands touched the dirty water when you washed them..Overall, I just have mixed feelings about my experience at Hotel Felix; I want to like it but little things here and there just nagged at me during my stay. Great boutique hotel. Stayed in the king suite, the room was spacious and the shower and bathtub were comfortable. Right in the middle of downtown on Ontario ave, a quick taxi ride away from any restaurant or shopping complex. Overall, a great stay. There are cheaper options in downtown but none will be as inviting and comforting as the Ivy Hotel.

This would be a perfect place that I'd like to stay for an alone business trip. The price was good via Expedia, but the rooms were so small that it took all the space available just to walk from one side of the room to the other and around the bed. I will not stay here again unless I am on a trip alone.
