Our room had two minor issues which we reported at checkout. (Refrigerator did not work well due to broken seal on door and toilet needed a little tightening) I will trust the hotel will address these maintenance issues. The suite was clean, comfortable and pleasing for our stay. This is always our first choice of accommodations, so much better than a standard room. The Hotel has simple elegance and a top rate, friendly and efficient staff.

The staff were courteous and helpful. The room was bright, clean and comfortable. Breakfast was excellent value. An enjoyable stay all round.

We arrived late in the evening and had a smooth check-in. Parking was convenient. The size of the room was ample for our needs. We were unhappy with the smell of our room, which was something sour that we couldn't quite determine. It did not smell like tobacco, but we wondered if we somehow got placed in a former smoking room. The bathroom was tiny […] and the door opened so as to touch the toilet, and had to be forced open beyond the toilet. The door was noticeably indented where it scraped the toilet. "Staybridge Suites in MarkhamON - Great Hotel"
I felt the hotel was very accomodating. The rooms were clean and well kept. Bathrooms were excellent. Workout room was very convenient and clean. Pool are was well kept, but I did not utilize the pool. Evenings were treated with a meal by the hotel. Breakfast was great, hot fresh made waffles are always a good thing. Location is in a good residential […] area, but you really can't walk to any resturants, so you will need a car unless you want to walk to the bus stop which is a reasonable distance from the hotel. their customer service is really bad, room service is also bad, their television didnt work, the remote had problems and was defective, their breakfast was fake and seriously not tasty they use cheap breakfast supply from their corporation and should try something new. also they need proper service seriously disappointed i felt i was treated at a low […] class motel instead of a hotel. there room are ok found many problems such as remote would not work, tv had minor problems, not warm water mostly cold water, their breakfast was not good since everything tasted like if food was expired and was not tasty, they use you cheap brand breakfast and it seems that their breakfast has been provided by holiday inn which they get it from their […] corporation which means the taste is not there. "Staybridge in Markham"
The stay was great at the hotel. One problem that I had was that I asked for a non smoking room and when we got into the room I could tell that someone had been smoking in it. I called the front desk to find out that they had designated the room non smoking that day. That was not what I understood was a designated non smoking room.
