The hotel was great. It had all the amenities you could want, including a free dinner Monday through Thursday nights. It was very comfortable and well located. The only drawback was occasionally the hot water was just barely warm. The hotel was completely booked when we were there so maybe they just couldn't keep up with the demand.

We ended up booking at Homewood Suites because our usual place to stay in Reno, Staybride Suites was full. We were pleasantly surprised with the amenities, from the clean rooms to full kitchen, free WiFi and indoor poor. Will definitely consider the next time we're in the area.

Never cleaned room. Never replaced burnt out lightbulbs after this was requested. Breakfast area was severely overcrowded with no seating available. When food ran out it wasn't replaced even though the hotel was technically still serving breakfast for another 30 minutes. All in all, not a pleasant experience.

Breakfast was incredibly crowded. No place to sit. Everyone got very annoyed over this. The breakfast food was completely gone 30 minutes before the end of serving time and the staff refused to put any more food out. My bathroom had only one working lightbulb and the bathroom was dangerously dark. I requested to have the non-working lightbulbs replaced. […] This was on day one of my stay. This was never done and I stayed there three days. I just can't recommend this hotel. Reno has lots of other options. Read more

This was a very nice hotel, especially for the rate we paid. It's not the most luxurious, but it was very clean and comfortable. We had a bedroom suite with a kitchen. Room and Hotel very clean and well managed. Kitchen area with full size refrigerator with ice maker, microwave oven, range top, and cooking and eating utensils made stay extra nice. Loved indoor pool, spa, and exercise room. There are two TVs in the room and one had a DVD player. Complimentary breakfast had a lot to choose from. Great Place!

We visit family in Reno frequently and long ago got tired of staying in the casino hotels. This hotel was clean, comfortable, and quiet. The beds are the right level of softness for me -- hard beds are one of my biggest complaints and these are a nice moderate level of softness. Nice bedding and decor. It was good. We came in late around 4am, and they let us stay for a couple of hours after the checkout. Didnot expect that, but good thing they had given us considering we were 6 in one room with a bunk bed.

I've stayed in Reno quite a lot - mostly in casino's, since the rates can be somewhat less expensive - but now that I've stayed here, I will NEVER stay at a casino in Reno again! My group of seven people were able to sleep comfortably in a double queen suite. The room was exceptionally clean. The mini-kitchen was great. And even though we had to share […] a single bathroom, everything worked out just fine once we received extra linens. Breakfast in the morning was not as good as other Homewood suites where we have stayed, but having said that, it's still a full breakfast with a waffle maker, assorted cereals, yogurt, fruit, and a wide assortment of beverages. So the breakfast was better than at most other hotels. The bed was somewhat too firm, and there were parking lot lights shining around the edges of the drapes all night, but these are small and petty complaints. Over all this was the best stay in Reno I've ever had. I will be returning. Read more

It was awful. They didn't clean our room at all. When we returned the first day, I said, fine could they just bring us fresh towels. We went out again and when we returned at 7:30pm, no towels. The front desk clerks (which all looked like they were 22 years old at the most) said, "you said we didn't have to clean your room." Then she said we were checking […] out tomorrow anyway. This was the best hotel that we have ever stayed at as a family. The whole facility was very clean as well as being nicely appointed and decorated. Our room was comfortable, roomy, and very quiet. The complimentary breakfast buffet offered a variety of hot and cold menu items, and the hot food menu changed daily. They also offer a free dinner buffet (with drinks) on Monday through Thursday (the breakfast buffet is available on all 7 days). There was something for everyone. Awesome place to stay! Close to te Reno airport with lots of things to do and plenty of restaurants nearby. The people at the front desk were very friendly and courteous. We had 6 in our party and the Suite was perfect for that many. Breakfast was outstanding too.

Everything was clean, the room, the pool, everywhere was clean. The room was big. Nothing bad to say. The water in the pool was warm and the jacuzzi was hot. We had a great time at this hotel. We were worry about the smoke smell in Reno hotels but this smell good, no smoke at all. Our best place to stay in Reno.

We were really impressed with this hotel. It was really nice. It's hard to find a room that a family of five can stay in, but we were comfortable here. Our 3 year old shared the king bed with us and our 7 and 13 year olds shared the fold out couch. It was great to have a kitchen and a couple seating areas. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The […] room came with microwave popcorn. There is coffee, tea and hot chocolate available downstairs all the time. The free breakfast buffet is really good, though there isn't always a place to sit downstairs, we had to eat in our room once. The seating area is pretty big though, and nice. There are a few movies for rent, no pay per view channels. There are luggage carts you can use yourself. There are b-ball courts and bbqs out back. Overall a great place to stay, we loved it. We were there on the weekend, but we saw that on weeknights they also have free dinner and drinks! Between the free meals and having a kitchen to use, we saved a lot on food compared to eating out. We stay in Reno often, and we were very impressed with this hotel. It is conveniently located close to shopping, and in a nice neighborhood away from the casinos. Perfect for families with children. The rooms were spacious and very clean. We are already planning to stay here again soon.

Nice room, nice decor. I'm very critical tho of good coffee (I need it in the morning!) and I could not drink the coffee at the breakfast. The food also I thought was very under par. I have also stayed at the Homewood in vegas and the food was much better. The complimentary breakfast was very good, a lot of choices from a light breakfast to a full meal. Since this is a new area, bus service isn't out to the hotel yet and there isn't any restaurants within walking distance. Myself (Nana), my daughter, daughter-in-law, 2 granddaughters (age 4 & 5) and 1 yr old grandson shared the suite for the night. It was "girl's night" before the baby shower we were throwing for my daughter the next day at a local restaurant. The room was perfect! Plenty of very comfortable beds (lots of fluffy pillows!), very clean, a full kitchen. […] We were able to finish last minute cake decoration and making choc dipped strawberries for party favors with no trouble. Lots of restauarants very close by for dinner. The pool was excellent! Love that it was heated and enclosed, with towels easy to find and a bathroom right there (with the two girls it saved on trips back to the room). Breakfast in the morning was very good, but slightly confusing- they served burritoes for breakfast and no egg dishes. We later found the burritoes were stuffed with egg, but they probably should have had a sign to indicate that to us. Lots of other breakfast choices and very fresh. We were able to easily set up late checkout for my daughter (who the shower was for) so she could take her time getting ready while the rest of us went to the restaurant to set up for the shower. We go to Reno a lot to visit family but prefer to stay in a hotel rather than in someone's guest room. In the past, we've stayed at several of the casinos in suites. This experience was much better than those. Parking is close by. You don't have to navigate a casino, while searching for the front desk, all while trying to corral a rambunctious toddler. Breakfast […] was convenient and tasty. It is also extremely close to shopping and Whole Foods is walking distance. With the kitchen, we were able to have lunch in the room while our toddler napped and snacks for her when she wanted them. All in all it was a great stay.
