The location of the hotel and the amenities were great. We stayed at this hotel because the hotel we always usually stay at was booked. This room was severely overpriced for what you got. Not only did they charge an additional $ in resort fees but there was also a hotel deposit that has yet to go back into my account. In the morning, we wanted coffee. […] We paid an extreme amount of $ for 2 cups of coffee which did not get consumed due to the quality of it. Our room was nice besides our roof top view of the HVAC units. We asked to upgrade our room even though we had already just paid double as much for this room as we usually do and all that was offered was another room on the 9th floor looking directly at the next hotel next to us. This was also another charge to upgrade to that room. Our bedding felt moist which made it very uncomfortable to sleep in. We tried 3 times to get the attention of the cleaning people walking by our room but due to them having headphones in their ears, they did not hear us. I would not stay here again. I would much rather spend my money on something that has a better view. Read more

Loved it!!! Stayed in the oceanview suite, the oceanfront suite and in the oceanview standard. These were very nice rooms, comfortable and roomy.Also stayed in the lowest rate room with the king bed, no balcony. It was a great room for the price but I would definitly spend a little extra for the rooms with a view!! I went with friends for a weekend get away, we had a great time. The hotel was beautiful, great location and the staff was very attentive and helpful. The only thing was that our balcony could not be open because of renovation (which is not a big deal). We will definitely be back soon.

This was the second time staying at this hotel. Again, we were not disappointed!! The rooms were very large and comfortable, especially the beds!! The staff were very efficient, helpful and courteous. I highly recommend this hotel and will definitely stay here again!!

A little pricey and we were charged a separate "resort" fee on top of the Hotels.com charges. $15 per night. Place was very clean and I liked it alot, especially for a Daytona hotel. Most of them are shady.

We had a good stay here. Clean room. Although we could hear luggage carts late at night, and the shower in the next room had a water hammer problem that woke us up early. The employees were the best part of the hotel. They were friendly and had excellent customer service skills. All linens at the hotel need to be replaced. There was no bed skirt at all and the sheets were badly worn. We actually ordered another set of sheets only to find that they too were in an equal state of disrepair. This hotel should not be given the rating of 3.5 stars! The room smelt of moth balls, stains on the chairs, stains on the floor, sunset view standard is of the Walgreens and bealls outlet and intersection, the doors are on the outside so if there is rain, you will get wet. The shower curtain appeared to have been cut to the top level of the tub where […] water will just fall to the floor. Towels are very rough. The bed is the cheapest pillow top mattresses I have seen. It seems like they spenders money on the lobby than the rooms. The price is extremely high and it is unbelievable they are even allowed to call themselves a resort. Better off paying for a motel 6 or econolodge or super 8 motel, at least you will get what you pay for. Read more

The hotel was great. Perfect area of beach, not too crowded, plenty of room to enjoy the beach and the pools. Hot tubs were great, indoor pool was great for the kids since the beach was too cold for them to swim. Room service was terrific, especially with requests for towels, which were brought in a decent amount of time. The personnel at the front […] desk were very professional, helpful and friendly. We even enjoyed dinner in the hotel, one of the nights we were there. The service there was also good. The hotel was very nice but the balcony did not face the ocean, it was off the side of the hotel. The ocean was to the east and the balcony faced the south. Also, the balcony was so narrow you could only stand on it--not sit . There was no place for a chair. When we checked in the clerk wanted to charge us four times what we paid for it on hotels.com.. […] Fortunately we had our paid printout from Hotels.com for lot less. Stay here all the time, although I prefer North Tower. Our room this time was right above the pool area, and they started playing music at 8:30 in the morning which was a little earlier than we wanted to wake up.

We had a great time staying here during Bike Week. It was close enough to the action to get there, but far enough away that it was quiet. Our room faced the beach and we had a great view. Chelsea at the front desk was very helpful.

Everything about this place is great. The rooms are ok and the beds are hard but for the price and location it works and I will come back next year. If you bring a trailer they offer limited parking out front during bike week. Update the rooms and this place will rock.

This is not a hotel! It is a condo rental with no care as to how they treat their guests. I booked 3 rooms for a total of 13 nights. The A/C didn't work. Upon check-in. I had to wait 30+ minutes to just get in to my room at the clerks one-by-one slowly checked in a line of people of which were all treated with no friendliness. After all that, I get […] to my room to find it a wreck and no heat/ac. I had to run the as heat shower to keep warm!!! They said they couldnt move me as the hotel/condo was fully book so the next day, I asked the front desk to repair the A/C and I went to my meeting. I arrived back to my room that PM to find my door wide open and not a single person in my room. Luckily all my belongings were still in my room. As a friendly FYI - Don't book this hotel! Nice location. Room we stayed in was dated, musty, heater faulty and with mold in the vents. I'm a bit of a clean freak so felt unclean slept in my clothes. Alternatively staff was very nice and personable. Lobby looked great pool great. A mixed bag.

Good location if you don't want to be right in the middle of the Main Street crowd. Which is only a couple of miles away. Covered parking deck so you can park on the same floor as your room which is nice, however its not secured parking so anyone could enter, just FYI. Denny's is across the street for breakfast, etc. and we ate at the DBR and the food […] was good, so unless you want to wait, eat at the hotel Only complaint I have is with the staff and the way we were asked not to park out front due to the bike trailers and needed the space for them. Sometimes its how you ask and not whistling at you and being rude. Let's just say my wife was about to open up a can on this boy, if you know what i mean... (By the way if you have a enclosed trailer that wont go in the parking garage it cost $25 per night to park it) + lets don't forget the resort fee per night, so it can get expensive. Read more

Location excellent-loved the view. 4 Pools 3 out 1 in/great for famililies-kitchen/bedroon/living room and a large bath with two sinks. Great for families-ability to cook/have some meals in room to save $$ if you want too and plenty of room to spread out.

I was there a week to write and walk on the beach during the off season and it was perfect for that, few distractions. The bed was clean, had an old mattress, several fine pillows, large room, like a studio apt. The floor wasn't super […] clean, rug ok, but tiled part had hairs. Everything I needed for a working retreat. The staff was great, really great. I clicked on a "cheap rate" button without knowing the hotel and it met my needs just fine. The mattress was worn out. Outside corridor; while secure was not a plus. We were not advised of a resort fee until checkout. This is useless in January. There is nothing to use plus we were there for the races, not to have fun at the hotel. Probably will not stay there again because of the deception.
