My husband and I found the location extremely convenient. Nearby were Walmart, Market Basket (great prices on groceries), the Tilton Diner (a MUST for dining), gas stations, convenience store, Upper Crust pizza (delicious pizza and cold beer), and the Tangers Mall (numerous upscale stores). Each morning we enjoyed the (included) continental breakfast in the dining area and then left to visit family nearby. Each afternoon we came "home" to a clean room with freshly made bed. Uncomfortable king bed, old mattress, rough sheets. Pull out sofa mattress even worse. Could add lights to illuminate lot pull in area. Hard to decipher at night.

I found the bed to be slightly uncomfortable. The towels were rather scratchy. My big gripe was with the noise level granted this is somewhat beyond the control of the hotel especially with it being the first weekend before school vacation but it did effect my stay.

We've stayed here several times this past year to visit kids in scool and i've never had one thing to complain about. It's a newer property so facility is in great shape and the staff is always more than accomodating around our schedule while we're there. The hotel was very clean and nice. The pool, workout room and breakfast were great. On our first night however there was vacuuming being done on the third floor above our room from 10:30 to almost midnight. I called the front desk to see what was going on above us since we were all trying to sleep. He advised me he would find out. We did hear it for […] about another 30 minutes after my call. This is one of the best Holiday Inn Express hotels that I've stayed at. I had no idea that they were different. There is a nice fireplace in the lobby. The beds were really comfortable. Although our coffee pot could have used a better cleaning, and the exhaust fan in the bathroom wasn't working, everything else was clean, well kept and comfortable. Rooms were not overly clean. When leaving we were looking under beds and around furniture cushions to make sure we hadn't left anything behind and found some kids toys under the bed and found a USED PREGNANCY TEST next to one of the chair cusions!! It seemed like the queen size beds were really a full size. The complimentary breakfast was good. The hot tub and pool were nice and relaxing. Having wifi in the room was great when you have teenagers to keep them occupied. The channels available could have been a little bigger. One channel had no volume. The sofa bed and chairs were hard.

This hotel is set on the Winnepasskee River which is very pretty. Close to shopping/restaurants convienience off the highwayl The hotel was great. room clean. top view to the lake. breakfast was a perk. Downside were people coming and going out of the rooms next door and slamming of doors were annoying.

Excellent front desk help. She listened to what we wanted for dinner and sent us to the perfect place. She also gave us the key to watch a football game that evening in the room where breakfast is served which also has sofas and chairs.

This hotel was ideally located in terms of things that we wanted to do. Nice friendly staff. Linen service everyday and great free breakfast. Tilton is a nice town with a lot of stores and restaurants in the area. You could do so many things and all destinations were within 30 minute radius. I will choose this place and hotel all over again.

This hotel must have been brand new. The rooms were very clean and well designed. The location was off the highway with easy access to touring northern new Hampshire and the big lake (lake winnepesake). That said if the lakes are your destination then this place is a.little outside of the action. Good place for a.short stay with a decent breakfast.

Hotel appears to be brand new. Not in a resort area as many are in this part of New Hampshire. We stayed one night after a weekend of camping, and were very pleased. Good, clean facility. Hot shower. Kids loved the indoor pool and hot-tub. It lists a continental breakfast, but we were pleasantly surprised. Full breakfast, including scrambled eggs, bacon, […] biscuits & gravy, various muffins and cinnamon buns, cold and hot cereal. Coolest of all? A pancake machine! Hit the button, and two minutes later a fresh, hot pancake comes out on a roller at the end of the machine. The kids probably had way too many pancakes, just cause they liked pushing that button. The only complaint, is they give you a twenty-four hour wifi access card when you check in. That afternoon, I was able to hook up five devices without any problem. The next morning, the kids' iPods and my Playbook wouldn't connect, although my laptop and iPhone still connected with no problem. When I called the front desk, they referred me to the wifi provider 800 number. I just didn't botther. Read more
