The hotel stay was a pleasant one. We were only a few blocks away from the main road where all the events are taking place. The rooms itself was super roomy and the beds were comfy! I'm giving 3 stars to the comfort of the room because the AC unit is located right above the bed, which is not a great idea, given that we have to leave the AC on throughout the night. I think they purposely put the unit above the bed so that we will turn it off when we sleep (possibly to save energy). In addition to the AC, it never got cold, the temperature was only cool, it would be nice if it was colder. Anothet thing the hotel lacked was an elevator being close to our rooms, we had to walk 3 flights of stairs to get to our room, which was inconvenient. Other than tht, the room is clean and spacious. Will definitely recommend this hotel to others! The breakfast buffet was mediocre, but not too bad to start the morning, and the staff were nice.

Hotel was great and in a prime location. The only complaint was the mattress being extremely hard. I guess im used to the soft mattress i have at home but the bed was a little to rough for my comfort level. Other than that the hotel and staff were great. Coming out of my pool access room was very refreshing as it was extremely hot and humid. Nice pool made it very refreshing.

This is one of the best hotels I've ever stayed at: the value is unbeatable, the service is incredible, the views are gorgeous and the rooms are oustanding. It's no more than 20 minutes from the airport. Patong is far - but they have a shuttle that takes you for free at night.

JW does one thing very right, they create a great family vacation for the kids and adults. The playroom was great, baby elephants everyday came to the pool, waterslide, and even kids plates and utensils at every restaurant. The cafe was the perfect place to eat all our meals, the breakfast which was included in our rate was an A+, the service is great, the room roomy, they really set the standard high for family resorts. Downsides include it's remote location, not by anything else really and taxis are pretty expensive to come and go.

Loved the design of this hotel, it is modern and really beautiful. The only downsides are the distance from anything else except the JW Marriott, and taxis are expensive to come and go. Also, if you are travelling with kids the JW Marriott might be a little more kid friendly.

Situated near the beach in Phuket, Andaman Cannacia Resort & Spa is close to Kata Noi Beach, Kata Yai Beach, and Big Buddha. Also nearby is Naiharn Beach.

"Adaman Cannacia - NOT convenient"
This hotel is located at the top of a VERY steep hill. Unfortunately the shuttle service provided by the hotel is not at all adequate. For such an isolated location, they really don't go out of their way to help you get about. And breakfast is mediocre compared to other hotels where we stayed in Thailand. "Room Humidity and Lack of Transfer"
The first problem with this hotel is ACs are not working properly as they are very old, so every room is very humid and you cannot sleep well. The second thing is the hotel is up in the hill and the hotel transfer is only in every hour so it is not convinient to go to beach or Kata center and come-back easily. Even tuk-tuks requests 200 baht for transfer […] as they know there is a lack of transfer from hotel. As a recommendation the hotel has to put a permanent golf-car kind-of a transfer for any hotel guest request. Read more
"High up"
A good hotel location if you like the scenery that appears from the hotel to the sea. Little bit difficult to walk to hotel, but the taxi shuttel works effectively.

"Tyvärr för dålig service"
Hotellet är fint med bra poolområde och bra utsikt över havet. Tyvärr måste jag dock säga att service var väldigt dålig. Vi var två par som skulle checka in vi 12:00 men våra vänner fick inte sitt rum innan 17:00. Frukosten på morgonen var tyvärr inte heller tillräckligt bra då det saknades tallrikar och mat ofta. Som grädde på moset så fick vi reda […] på när vi skulle chrecka ut att de 3000 bath vi betalat in i deposition skulle återbetalas om ca 2 veckor, så det hoppas jag att dom gör. Jag är besviken. Hotelli oli todella ihana ja henkilökunta ystävällistä. Henkilökunnan kielitaito oli hyvää ja kommunikaatio helppoa. Ainoa miinus hotellissa oli sijainti: se sijaitsee melko suuren mäen päällä. Ilmaiset bussikuljetukset rannalle olivat toimivia mutta kulkivat vain klo 16 asti ja seuraava takaisin tulo hotellille oli klo 22. Syömisreissut tuli siis heitettyä […] kävellen. "andaman cannacia : magnifique hotel"
hôtel de très bon niveau, construit dans le style thailandais avec piscine sur 3 niveaux avec bar au milieu, jacuzzi, très beau jardin, les chambres vue mer sont splendides avec une vue sur la baie de Kata et celle de karon et très beau coucher de soleil. Le personnel est au petit soin sans être insistant, une navette est prévue toutes les 1/2 heures […] au départ de l'hôtel pour la magnifique plage de kata.( arrêt en face du club med.) , toutes les heures au départ de la plage et le soir pour le shopping. La côte de 200 mètres est raide mais tout à fait faisable. En bas de cette côte se trouvent tous les magasins et les restaurants. Extrem lång väntan på beställd mat. Både för lunch och middag. Vi hade beställt en spjälsäng till vår ett-åring, men var tvungen säga till 3 ggr för att få en ditställd.
"Hôel Andaman Cannacia"
Cet hôtel est situé en surplomb de la plage de Kata Beach. De fait, il est assez difficile de se rendre du centre de Kata jusqu'à l'hôtel, non pas du fait de la distance (700m) mais plutôt du degré d'inclinaison de la pente (montée!) qui dépasse les 40°. Mais pas de souci, la mafia des tuk tuk vous attendra au bas et vous demandera 150 baht (4 euro) […] pour faire 200 mètres de montée. Le mieux reste de louer une moto 125 à panier à 150 baht la journée et faire ses petites courses journalières au 7 eleven du coin. L'hôtel en lui-même est magnifique, probablement le plus beau de kata beach, avec son architecture traditionnelle thai, ses multiples bassins et ses jardins exotiques. De plus, la vue depuis l'hôtel est à couper le souffle. Vous pourrez y voir une bonne partie de la mer Andaman ainsi que trois plages (Karon, Kata yai et kata noi) sur une distance d'environ 20 km. Le service est impeccable, le personnel souriant, rapide et serviable. Seul point noir : si vous restez à la piscine, vous serez sans cesse harcelé par les serveurs pour acheter une boisson, de la nourriture...Sachez que les prix au Andaman Cannacia sont prohibitifs. Un coktail dans un bar branché du centre de Kata : 100 baht. a l'hôtel : 200 baht, sans compter les taxes de service qui ne sont pas stipulées sur la carte. en bref, bon hôtel mais le personnel est trop "vendeur" dans l'âme (ils y sont forcés ou incités). Les consommations, les excursions proposées, l'internet -150 baht de l'heure !- le taux de change- les repas- tout y est horriblement cher et la facture peut vite gonfler croyez-moi ! Autre conseil, ne prenez pas la formule demi-pension (petit dej + diner) vous allez vous amuser les deux premiers jours (buffet) mais vous allez très vite vous lasser et vous sentirez bloqués dans cet hôtel. Le menu de leur buffet est d'ailleurs souvent resservi le lendemain.
