Receptionist refused to check me in before 3pm-I was spoken to with a very direct and rude attitude , although I explained I had been traveling for 27 hours to get there! At exactlty 3pm , I asked if I could be checked in . It took them another 20 minutes to "slowly" process my check in. Room was not cleaned for first 2 days. I finally walked the hallways […] untill I found cleaning Ladys. They finally did clean it but forgot to provide more soap and toilet tissue! A very Cold place to stay with staff that have absolutley no idea of running a hotel! They have the most pathetic in room dining menu! I checked out and booked into a CS hotel. Stayed here June 2010. Very nice hotel, service excellent, good choice of food for breakfast, room very clean, hotel is about 4km outside villamoura so you'll definately need a car if you are staying here. Quiet location.

This is a very good hotel, and the apartment was large and comfortable. The only negative aspects for us travelling with two young boys points were the inability to play football on hotel grounds (forbidden even on playground) and the inability to take floaties in pool, which will be surely perceived as positive aspects by many other travellers. Recently stayed at the Tivoli Victoria and it was my second visit. It was late September so the hotel was quiet which suited me fine. The staff are extremely friendly and accomodating and the service is great. The pool area was quiet and tidy and perfect for relaxing. One of the best hotels I have stayed in. To the point we have decied to go again next year but for 10 days rather than 7. Fantastic apartment, lovely pool. You do need a car if you stay here as there are no restaurants walking distance from the apartment and if you are going to eat in your apartment the supermarket is a little way away. Staff very friendly. My only complaint was the bath was narrow and the water wouldn't stay in it for long, but the large walk in shower […] made up for it. Room was large. Bed was very comfortable and well appointed. The safe was good but slightly too small for 15.6 inch pc. Breakfast buffet was excellent. Very relaxing on the sunbeds outside.There is a shuttle bus into town, but not very frequent so really need a car to get around. Overall an excellent experience.

The hotel is a beautiful hotel.. rooms are very modern and contemporary. Great bathrooms, plenty of tolietries (that are replenished every day) and lots of wardrobe space! The pool area is amazing with really cool beds, helpful staff and you get a clean towel every day. The only negatives are:- there are not enough restaurant choices at the hotel.. […] you either can have the buffet which is 35 euros every night or you can dine at the gourmet restaurant and as there are many families with kids I do not feel there is enough choice especially as the hotel is about 10 to 15 minutes on the coach into Vilamoura village. There is not really any entertainment in the evening either. We went to the pop bar for a drink a few nights as the setting was outside near the pool which was beautiful, however, no one else turned up! So no atmosphere and there wasn't really anywhere to go so I don't know what everyone else did! It would be lovely if they had a piano bar with some music. Tivoli Victoria is mostly a beautiful hotel and mostly we were very pleased with it but just a few things missing for a 5 star hotel I thought: 1. Pools did not appear to be cleaned out on a daily basis as I would have expected. 2. On arrival our rooms were not ready and we were directed to a toilet/changing area on the lower level which smelt musty […] and undergoing upgrade work. 3.These toilets closest to the small pool area were closed completely on our last days for painting....surely this could have been done at a quieter time... this was 2nd week of July and surely peak holiday season. 4. The golf course was closed for complete duration of our stay ...something which was not pointed out to us either by Expedia at time of booking or subsequently by the hotel when I was contacting them on advance of our arrival...we had hoped to golf a couple of days but luckily it was not main reason for our stay. 5. Lift to the carpark was not working on one of our days stay.... 6. Concierge staff appeared rather untrained and not very knowledeable of the area...eg about restaurants. 7. No white slippers provided in our room which we needed for entry to spa. 8. I thought water could have been provided at turn-down service as most 5 star hotels would do. 9. Spa area a little "tired" and many of hydro pool buttons not working. 10. More frequent shuttle service to Vilamoura marina required. 11. Drinks in bar too expensive. 12. Pool bar closed. Hotel was great and so was the service. The rooms appeared to clean some days more than once which was fantastic. The biggest area of feedback however is that with the Tivoli being so far from the Marina there wasn't enough shuttle buses. And with the hotel being quite remote the hotel needs to provide more shuttles to the Marina.

Amazing hotel, looks exactly as the pictures do, if not better. Very relaxing and comfortable stay. Staff extremely helpful. Only half hour from airport and 10 minutes to the marina, the hotel has a free bus to the from the marina 4 times a day. I will definitely be returning and recommending to all my friends.
