not bad at all for that price. Still sporting TVs from the 20th century but that's a small gripe. Can't expect a 50" flat screen for that price. Overall good experience.

I stay in cheap hotels all the time and realize that you can't expect much from them. I'm usually willing to sacrifice some comforts to save money. However, no matter what you pay I think you should expect to get what you are told you will get. First, I reserved a nonsmoking room. My room was obviously freshly smoked in, which led to me waking up with […] a horrible headache, which was especially frustrating as I was there to run a half marathon. There were also no towels in my room. The maids were outside so I asked them for towels and they said they would bring them later (even though they had their cart with them). Twenty minutes later I got 1 towel, and about ten minutes later I got a second one. When I first got to my room, I went to brew coffee. The water started leaking out from the bottom. I went to the front office and the man said he could brew me some there, and I said I needed it at four in the morning. He said he would leave a note for the worker that would be there to brew it at 4. I also asked for late checkout and he said he would make a note of it. Later that night, I called the office to confirm with the next worker that they would brew coffee at 4. When I called at 4 to make sure it was brewed, the third worker had no idea what I was talking about and at first told me he could not brew it at that time. Finally he agreed to but it took 20 minutes. I decided at this point I better confirm my late checkout, which of course was not written down anywhere. Read more

The GPS took us all around the Mulberry bush to get there. The room was satisfactory for the night. The highway was loud in the morning. The furniture was very nice but there was no mini-fridge or hair dryer. The breakfast was cold cereal and white bread. But it fit what we needed at that point.

Title says it all. I'm not going to waste much time explaining. Room didn't have microwave or fridge. Smelled. Old, Old, OLD everything in the room. The room was always cold. I know its not a high standard hotel, being an econolodge, but wow.

This is not on a main road . You can drive right by it as we did. FYI not by the Francis Scott Key Mall. Its located driving away from the mall. Needs work.although it is posted that they are in the works of renovating. TVs in room are old ones but they do offer WIFI.

It was little dirty and smelled either from pets or other type cleaning solvents would not recommend this motel. It was stop on my way to Virgina Beach and I could wait to leave the hotel. Area was mostly industrial but was close to the highways.

This place was horrible ... my sister and I seemed to be the only two guests .. at least on our side of the motel ... It had no refrigerator, no coffee machine, no microwave, no iron or ironing board ... when we arrived at check-in for 3:00 p.m. the people had not yet cleaned our room ... they were in our room .. sweeping the carpet with a BROOM and […] just hanging out chatting with each other. This hotel scared me. The front desk was unmanned for 10 minutes when I arrived and there was a scary guy in the lobby that stared at me but would not answer questions. I was the only guest on one side of the motel and I was placed in a room towards the end. All of the outside lights were torn out. They were replacing them but there was not even enough […] light to determine which room was mine. I used the headlights on my car to figure out the room. The lack of lighting bothered me. I did not feel safe so I emptied out my entire car and placed the items in my room. The comforter was ripped. The bathtub was discolored. It appeared clean but damaged. In the morning the front desk asked how I liked the room and told me that I was the first to stay in the remodeled room. I can only assume that this was a mistake. It's a case of "you get what you pay for". Room was adequate, but had a heavy aroma of disinfectant. Sink valve was loose and difficult to use. Not a lot of places to eat close-by. Obviously an older facility, but if you just want an inexpensive place to stay the night, it meets the criteria.

We were only in town for a weekend event and did not wish to spend a lot on a hotel, just needed somewhere to rest and relax for a few hours. This hotel was fine for that purpose. We made a last minute reservation at this hotel due to our trip getting extended an additional day. We arrived around midnight; all we wanted was to get to our room and go to bed. We were given keys to a room which was about as far from the office as we could be. The keys (electronic key cards) did not work when we got to the room door. I went back […] to the office and asked for new cards and returned to our room door. These did not work either. I called the front desk and they sent someone to help. He determined that the batteries were dead in the lock on the door and so he offered to get new keys to a different room. The second room door lock didnt work either - same problem - dead batteries in the lock. And so we tried a third room and finally got admitted to a room after driving from room 1 to room 2 to room 3 and parking 3 times. The hotel room was hardly worth the effort and our neighbors didnt give me a lot of confidence that the items in the back of my truck would be there in the morning. I reparked the truck closer to our room and hoped for the best. The good news is that everything was in tact when we got up in the am. "Continental Breakfast" was pretty limited. The toaster didnt work; other patrons were complaining that it toasted too much or too little. The menu consisted of 2 choices of dry cereal, some donuts, coffee and juice. I stay in budget motels regularly and most far exceed this one for value. I'll find a different place to stay next time. Read more

Very spacious room and also clean. Better lighting for reading and writing than in most hotels. Bathtub surface was very safe for taking a shower....not the case in two more expensive hotels where I stayed on this trip. Wish they had coffeemakers in each room, but the price is great.

This is the cheapest motel in Frederick on hotels.com, and it is nothing fancy. But if you need a place to crash and aren't too particular, this does fine. It's location is convenient, but it is not scenic. I only stayed one night, and that was fine, but if I needed more nights, I probably would've paid more to stay elsewhere.
