"Quechee Inn at Marshland Farm is beautiful!"
This wonderful old historic property was a delight. We can't wait to stay again sometime.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Restaurant & Setting Best Features"
The room was comfortable, bed very good but there was peeling paint. The restaurant was excellent and the adjacent sitting room with fireplace and post and beam decor had a lot of ambiance.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
We were only passing through, and wished we had a longer stay. The Inn is in a colonial building, and out in the country. I loved the exposed beams in our room. Lovely comforter and good mattress. Dewey's Landing is right across the road, and is beautiful any time but was enchanting with fog rising out of the water at sunrise. After a late arrival, […] we learned they offer a package that includes a gourmet dinner. If it's anything like the breakfast they served the next morning, it's worth adding to your reservation. They even had warm Vermont maple syrup for the pancakes. The place was a bit hard to find; turn right after going through the covered bridge, and don't worry if you seem to be headed into the middle of nowhere. We couldn't get the heat to turn on in the room and there weren't many outlets, but what else can you expect in a building that old? Ideal couples destination. Also enjoyed the fireplace in the main room downstairs. Our room had an attached bath, but I don't think they all do. Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review

"Quaint Get Away"
We enjoyed our brief stay at The Quechee Inn. Got in late, but the manager was very friendly and very helpful in getting us settled. The Inn is in a very quiet area so it didn't bother us to be in Room 1, which is close to the front desk. Woodstock is nearby, as is the Simon Pearce glass factory and restaurant. "The Right Way to Visit Vermont"
If you really want to visit Vermont, staying at the Quechee Inn is the way to do it. Our room (which was not a specialty suite) was spacious, comfortable, clean, and up to date. Constructed in 1793 and on the National Register of Historic Places, the Inn maintains a quaint old-timey feel without being cliche. The lounge and outdoor balconies are great […] places to sit and have coffee or cocktails; the lounge in particular has a rustic, hearth-side ambiance that is very cozy. The staff were all extremely friendly and helpful. The free breakfast is well-prepared, plentiful, and different every day (the fresh maple syrup is never absent, though). Although the restaurant is a bit expensive, it is well worth the price. The food is delicious and the service top notch. Quechee is a very small town, but it is centrally located if you are looking to hike and visit quintessential New England villages. Basically, if you are looking to visit Vermont without being super-touristy, this is the place to go. The nightly rates are also relatively inexpensive when compared with those of other bed and breakfasts in the area. We were very sad to leave and can't recommend the place enough. "Very good breakfast and dinner."
Stayed there 3 nights during the labor day weekend. They have hot breakfast on the weekend. During the week it is made to order. I am not a pan cake person but I loved their thick and crispy pan cakes. They have outdoor sitting area next to a big open field. At night we just sit there for hours and stared at the stars. They don't have any icebox or […] vending machines so we keep some snack and water in the room. We stayed there for three nights but they only gave us one set of toiletries. "Beautiful Old Vermont Country Inn"
Utterly enjoyed my one night stay at Quechee Inn after a day of classes at King Arthur Flour. It's a historic, lovely, charming and warm place with the perfect rustic New England kind of charm and history one would expect at a place like this. The staff were lovely and helpful. I will definitely be going back.Genuine Expedia guest review
"Charming place to stay"
We stayed overnight with our two grandsons (ages 10 and 12), and we were delighted to see that our lovely room, which we knew had two double beds, also had a twin-size sleep couch, which meant that we all had ample room for sleeping.Genuine Expedia guest review

"Relaxing and Refreshing"
We were only here for a short time but thoroughly enjoyed it. Although we arrived later than usual, we showed up to charming notes that directed us to our room. The hostess in the restaurant was engaging and warm and ensured us that a supper meal was easily available. The breakfast was ample and fresh. The bagels were especially soft. Our room was clean, cozy, comfortable and quaint. The staff was friendly and accomodating. If you stay, and enjoy duck, order the house special duck at the restaurant...fantastic! One night stay; hotel was more concerned with an upcoming weddingGenuine Expedia guest review
Only two criticisms: there's a lot of traffic going by, relatively speaking (which, of course, the Inn can't help). Second, the restaurant was closed for a "private party" so we had to go elsewhere, although I had planned on eating there. Not a major deal, but call ahead if you're planning the same (the complimentary breakfast in the morning more than […] made up for it). Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review

"Quiet home away from home"
We had a wonderful, albeit brief, stay at the Quechee Inn. The staff are kind and helpful, and the location is splendid. The Inn's restaurant serves amazing food that rivals and even surpasses other local fine dining. The bed was one of the most comfortable we've had, and the room was cozy and clean. At the Inn, you're close to numerous local attractions […] and activities, and still secluded in the serenity of a Vermont farm. We definitely plan on going back again and again. "Quickly becoming a tradition"
This was my second time at the Quechee Inn. It was as simple and easy going as the first. The staff are friendly and the antique charm of the place really makes me feel at home. There was no room service, so milkshakes were not an option.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Authentic New England Inn."
This is a wonderful old New England Inn. The food is first rate. The atmosphere warm and cozy.Genuine Expedia guest review
The Inn itself was beautiful...the location was stunning..the feeling of being there was comforting. The room was exceptional. The grounds were exceptional. The service was ok. We were greeted by the desk person who was very quick to show us around and did not make eye contact and generally had very low energy..although I don't think she was feeling […] all that great. The person who helped with breakfast was a young boy/man...who said, 'is orange juice ok?'...and all I saw was OJ, so I assumed that's all they had. Turns out, he told the table next to us there were several kinds of juices and names them all. The breakfast itself was good, but the service not so much. Read moreGenuine Expedia guest review
We enjoyed our stay at the inn and would stay there again. The staff was really nice and helpful. I also enjoyed the variety at breakfast and the full bar. The bed was comfy and the room was nice. "Cozy New England Inn"
The warmth and coziness of the inn made it a great experience. The best part was the food. On fridays they offer a $50 for 2 dinner that includes app/entree/dessert and wine and it was exceptional. Buffet breakfast in the morning (its included) was also very good. Plus the innkeeper has coffee out all day and in the afternoon there are cookies. There […] is the option to cross country ski right from the door in winter and the inn is located not to far from other cross country ski centers or downhill centers if you choose. One disappointment was that I booked thru expedia and clicked on this particular inn which showed 3 rooms available and there were pictures that coincided with the rooms available. We chose the room that looked the best however this is not the room we got. Also prior to booking my husband called to ask about TVs(wild card football playoff weekend) and the gentleman said all the rooms have flat screen TVs. This was not the case. We had a small old TV. Plus if you use the entertainment book for the restaurant, the innkeeper was not going to honor it so check first. (But it was not a problem for us with that 50 for 2 dinner that they offered). The disappointments mentioned above would not deter us from staying again because it was a cozy stay and the location was just where we wanted to be. It had a great overall atmosphere. Just ask questions if you call. Read moreGenuine Expedia guest review
"Exceptional rural retreat"
This was a wonderful place to spend a couple of days. My meeting was delayed a few hours, so I got to cozy up with the fireplace and get lost in a novel. "Not worth the price"
The room was correct but not as nice as the pictures in the website. There was dust on one night table and the bathroom wood need update. The staff was efficient, personable, and accommodating. The common area was exceptionally and comfortable with a large fireplace. Service in the dining area was very pleasing and the food excellent.
