Good location. Loves Staybridge Suites chain. This one is a bit old compare to the other ones we stayed before. Carpet is dirty, sofa worn out. Small in room dining table. Staff is friendly and courteous.

Super comfortable room with a nice stainless steel kitchen. It was more than I expected. Great if you want to go to Reno and not wait in an hour long line to check. Only grip if that the elevator made molasses look lightning fast. Take the stairs anyway. Lots of kids around which may be a problem for some.

We arrived after driving 500 miles. We wanted a first floor room, since we had our little dog with us. The front desk person was understanding to needs. I noticed a musty smell in the room when we walked in. We were very tired and did not want to move our luggage or dog. Later that evening we noticed the carpet was very wet around the head of the bed. […] We were charged an additional $25.00 for the pet fee. Maybe this should have been waived since the carpet was so wet. I did not complain to the front desk, but I did make this known on a card that was placed in our room. I would think management could have contacted us, since they had our room # and email address. I never received feed back. The room was well stocked and clean. the breakfast was better than most. When I arrived at this hotel they first told me I didn't have reservations, Even though I brought them paper work saying I paid in full. It took about 45minutes before they figured out that they made a mistake. After they fix the problem my stay at this hotel was pleasant.

We stayed in a king suite and had plenty of room for 2 cribs and a portable swing and were able to entertain visitors. We loved the mid-week happy hours. The breakfasts were decent with great coffee. Our weekend stay here was very pleasant. The breakfast is excellent and rooms are spacious. The pool and hot tub were a nice extra. The only drawback to this place is it's a little far out of town. I've stayed at other all suite hotels (Hyatt House, Larkspure Landing), and I believe this hotel is a bit rough around the edges in comparison. Didn't even recognize this hotel as a Reno hotel as it is your typical Staybridge Suites experience, which means everything is kind of what you expect from the roomy suites with full size fridges to the waffle/fruit/yogurt breakfasts. Nice pool area too. Good for families-- we have two toddlers.

This hotel is NOT smokey or over-crowded. The indoor pool/spa is small but nice. The breakfast is better than a regular continental breakfast. Staff is very friendly. The rooms were like mini apartments, the beds were super nice, it had a great shower, dishes, microwave, range, fridge, u could easily live in this place. Nice indoor pool as well. The hotel is definitely out of the way, but worth it to stay somewhere that is quiet and clean - hard to find in Reno, in our experience. Room fit our family of 5 very comfortably, pool and spa were a welcome break, and the hot complimentary breakfast was good. Close to other restaurants as well.

The hotel lobby is nice, and the Night Manager, Doug, is friendly. However, the room was a mixed bag. The layout and kitchen are inviting, but the couches are uncomfortable and the showers have an especially high ledge to step over. The Staybridge is shiny new throughout. The AC in my room was set to 66 F, a bit too cool for my liking. The bath towels are very absorbant. The toilet paper a bit coarse. There are some OK places to dine within walking distance.

A Very Good hotel for work. The staff was quirky, but very helpful. I stayed two weeks for work and a large party with multiple rooms and the staff put us all near each other. While it is in the southern part of town away from down-town, it is close to supermarkets and resturants and has nice kitchens in the rooms. It is also easy to get in and out […] of and is well designed. The free breakfast was good and apprecaited and saved time in the morning, and during the week there was food provided in the evening. The food was not fancy, but was good and I enjoyed it and it saved time in the evening as well, as we did not have to go out every night. I would definitely stay there again, as it is quiet and I got a lot of work done and the rooms were large and clean. I would also stay there if I was in the area for a vacation with my family with small children, as it is really quiet and there are some nice walking trails near by and no distractions from the Casinos. All in All, while I was nervous about it going in, I would now recommend it highly as the staff does a real nice job and it is very clean. The staff keeps the place clean. Read more

I travel a lot for work and have stayed at many different hotels. From now on, however, whenever I find myself in Reno I will be staying at the Staybridge. When I walked in, the staff was pleasant and personable. Check-in was quick and easy. I was even offered free hot tee or cold beer to start my evening. I stayed in the one bedroom suite. It had […] everything one would expect a small condo to have except an oven. Over all, I was very impressed. Things were clean and comfortable. The dishes and pots and pans were sufficient to cook a decent meal. The hotel also has a pool, hot tub, laundry facility and workout room. The pool, hot tub and workout room was nothing special. However, being able to do laundry (free of charge) is a major plus for anyone planning an extended stay trip. One thing I always note when staying at a hotel is the bed. Usually, hotels beds feel...well like a hotel bed. This bed, however actually felt like home. This is a major plus for me. I was also impressed with the included hot breakfast. It had just about everything I could want included eggs, waffles, hot and cold cereal and fruit. The biggest downside to this hotel for me was the distance to the downtown area. While 10 miles isn't a long distance, after a long flight and during rush hour it is less than ideal. Overall, I would highly recommend this hotel. It comes close to feeling like "home" while being on the road. If you have a few days in Reno for work, stay here, you will be thankful. Read more

Great place to stay if your planning a ski trip or just a nice weekend away. Close enough to Reno for those who want to play and close to Mt. Rose Ski resort for those who want to ski. The breakfast was lovely and the sitting area over looks the beautiful mountains. The kids loved the indoor pool, being able to swim in a warm pool and watching it snow […] was pretty cool. If you are the type that needs someone to haul your luggage to your room for you, this may be a problem. We enjoyed our stay up until our check out. We stay in hotels regularly, so we have made it a habbit to strip the linens from our bed to ensure we haven't misplaced anything and leave it behind. Upon doing so we discovered a dirty black ankle sock between the sheets at the bottom of the bed that did not belong to neither of us. You can only imagine […] our surprise and pure disgust when we learned that we had just spent the past two nights in another guests soiled sheets. When we arrived in our room the bed was made pillows arranged and card on the bed that would make one think that the bed was freshly changed... Pure disgust! Contacted hotel management and reported what had happened but three days later, not so much as a phone call. We will never stay here again. Read more
