"Very convenient location for a stay in Boston"
The rooms are very nice, however the walls are not very soundproof, and I could hear water running, toilets flushing, voices… A bit of a shame!Genuine Expedia guest review
"great hidden gem in back bay"
This hotel that looks like apartments is down the street from the biggest and nicest hotels in the back bay/copley area. The room was much bigger than what you would get at any of the big chain hotels and it had a full kitchen. The only downside is that there is no parking but there are plenty of lots nearby if you can't find parking on the street.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"most hostile staff ever, do NOT book"
the staff was exceedingly rude and pushy. one particular (Ted) was unbelievably obnoxious and presumptuous. never been treated like that as a guest of a hotel, they should be in the healthcare business with their attitude towards customers. do NOT stay here, the colonnade is next door and a great value.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Awesome place to stay in Back Bay"
Great place to stay if you like walking around Back Bay. The Inn almost felt like a stylish dorm room. A fridge, 2 burner stove and microwave were in my room so I was able to get some groceries a block or two away. Two blocks up the street is the Prudential Center so great shoping there or if you walk down the way some you have high end shops and a […] few decent ones in there as well. I love the area this place is in. It's in a brownstone on a nice relativley quiet street. The Inn seems to almost be a building of condos turned into a hotel-type place. The keyless entry to my room and the building was awesome, especially since I got in monday morning a little after midnight. The only downside is there is no parking near the Inn however there are plenty of parking places in various ranges all over the place because Copley Square is such a popular shoping spot. I love this place so much I wish I could buy a condo here but Back Bay is super expensive so I'll just have to settle for staying at the Inn at St. Botolph...which I don't mind at all! This was a business trip and this hotel proved to be a really choice for doing business in the Copley Plaza Prudential Tower areaGenuine Hotels.com guest review
It was unlike any hotel experience I had before, but it was great! The hotel communicated with me in advance to give me entry codes to building and my room as they have no front desk or check in. The rooms are awesome. Spacious, clean and have great extras like a kitchenette and fireplace. While there is no front desk, their staff is very helpful and […] friendly. Also give you 25% discount coupons for excellent restaurants in the area! I highly reccommend!!!! Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review
"Lovely lovely lovely"
Great location near the T, lovely side street, beautiful room, immaculate condition, free wifi, comfy, and such a nice staff to make me feel at home. A repeater definitely for future Boston trips. What can I say but stay here!Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Great Location, Comfortable "Home Away from Home.""
Staying at the St. Botolph is truly like renting an apartment for the weekend. Classic design with modern accents, quiet and comfortable. Perfect location for my needs, right next to the Prudential Center. A real hidden gem.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Try it, it is a new experience."
Though it is comfortable and very private, it may be a bit impersonal as well. The truth is there is no need for human contact, as you get a combination to get into the hotel and your room. Continental breakfast is self served in a lounge area and you ususally never see any other guests. But having free wireless internet access, gym and breakfast included […] makes a great difference. Rooms are clean and comfortable and location is prime. I do recommend it and would stay again. Read moreGenuine Expedia guest review
"Inn at St Botolph"
We had a great stay at the Inn at St Botolph- it felt more like we were renting an apartment than a hotel room. It's in a great residential neighborhood, but it's very close to everything at the same time. Within walking distance to Fenway and a very short walk to Newbury St. The room had everything and then some. We wish we had more time to take advantage […] of our "apartment" in the city. There was a decent breakfast with great coffee. Our one complaint was it seems that the cleaning staff overlooked some areas.. found tags in the bureau drawers from the previous people, and the bathroom seemed a bit worn. great stay but a little loud. We stayed in a great room - nice bed, great kitchenette We got there, had a wonderful first night but no sleep on the second due to weird noises coming from the plumbing. I spoke to the lovely staff on reception and we were moved to a quieter room - great service but shame about the plumbing noises.Genuine Expedia guest review

"A superb find in Boston"
Been before would go back again. Great location next to Prudential Center easy walking distance of Boston Common, Newbury St close to train station etc. Hotel is lovely very well decorated, very clean, comfortable beds, nice linens, continental breakfast provided (along with tea and coffee available all day), cooking facilities in room along with full […] sized fridge freezer. And most of all good value too. Last time we stayed in a one bed suite which is like a small apartment and this time in a studio-both equally nice. Staff also very helpful we dined at Moo one of their affiliated restaurants (in their sister property XV Beacon) one night and they arranged for the XV Beacon hotel car to come and pick us up and bring us back to the hotel and we got a 25% discount on our meal. This really is a great find and a lovely little hotel. If you like a big fancy reception, a turn down service and waiters on tap this is not for you but don't overlook it -in all other ways it is a beautiful 5 star boutique hotel and you can still get maid service Read moreGenuine Expedia guest review

"More like an apartment than a hotel"
We loved our recent stay at the Inn at St Botolph and it was a great place to finish our 4 week USA and Canada holiday. We enjoyed having the self sufficiency of our own kitchen and a separate bedroom and living area. The hotel has lots of exterior character but modern decor inside. The neighbourhood is great and full of consistent brownstone style […] houses. Location is brilliant just near the Prudential Centre so easy access to shops and restaurants. The T station is just around the corner so easy access to downtown, seaport, Harvard etc but we also found it good if you want to walk around Boston. Boylston and Newbury streets are not far and we also walked to the Common. Staff are really helpful when you need them but also give you plenty of privacy. Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review

"The Inn At St. Botolph"
I thoroughly enjoyed my stay at the Inn. It was clean and comfortable and for how little time I spent in the room it had everything I needed. The bathroom didn't have any counter space to set ammenitites on but it was workable. I found the daytime staff friendly and helpful. I would definitely recommed this hotel.Genuine Expedia guest review

Fabulous new hotel concept just right for the independent luxury traveller. No hidden charges for cleaning or telephone. Excellent.Genuine Hotels.com guest review

"vicino a sede congressuale"
"Great cosy hotel"
This hotel is located in the residential area but it is in the back bay central area. So if you want to stay in the center but avoid the noise, this is the place. The room is a suite so you may cook. Everything is well designed and has an elegant touch in the room. Staff was super friendly and helpful. Recommend it.

We wanted something different than a typical hotel for this vacation. This place was perfect. The neighborhood was just what we wanted and the location couldn't have been easier to come and go. The staff at the desk were always very helpful and the breakfast and the room was great. We rented a car one day and the pick up and drop off was just across the street at the Prudential Center so even that was easy. Thanks for everything!

We stayed at the Inn for a week long trip to Boston. A short 20 minute taxi ride from the airport and we arrived at the Inn. We had never stayed anywhere like this before......access is gained by keying in a code emailed to us prior to our stay.....this allows access to the front door and to your room. There is no check in desk or process, you simply make your way to your room. Our room was adequate and comfortable with a four poster bed, ensuite shower room and mini kitchen containing everything you could need to cook meals should you wish to. To be honest the Inn doesnt feel like a hotel, you rarely meet other guests unless you partake of the complimentary breakfast or coffee beside the office on the ground floor. Your room is not serviced daily unless you hang a request note on your door before 10pm previous night. So if you dont like making your own bed this place is not for you. That said we enjoyed our stay, the lack of visable staff and having to make the bed ourselves occasionally was well and truly outweighed by the ability to come and go as we pleased, the comfort of the room and the close proximity to the Prudential Centre etc. The staff were extremely pleasant and helpful when needed and I would have no hesitation in recommending the Inn to anyone planning a stay in Boston. The only negative we had was the noisy pipework, sounding like someone banging on the wall with a hammer, that happened at various times throughout the day but always at 3am ......we were only just getting used to the noise when we were leaving.....we stayed in room 104 and I assume other rooms werent affected by this noise. So if booking ask for an another room.

We are staying at the inn for two nights. It is very nice - not as clean (carpets a little worn and stained) as I prefer but fine. While at first I was frustrated by the lack of service, I ended up having a good experience with Jordan who responded to my complaint about a deflated air mattress for my son by letting us use the room next door for the night - my son was coming in from overseas and I really wanted for him to have a good night sleep. So, thanks for a good experience. Our second time staying here and we will be back.

Excellent location, nice and practical. Like your own apartment in Boston! Quiet and sophisticated neighborhood. Just around the corner one have the nicest Shopping Malls Boston. Provided with your own little kitchen in the apartment, one can prepare a little meal or just the breakfast and eat it quietly by oneself. The breakfast room is not comfortable, once it has sofas and not a proper table for eating.

We found this place by accident, I tried to book somewhere else and they put me here for one night until they could get me in there and we liked it so much we canceled our reservation at the other place to stay here. We were a family of 5, 3 adults and 2 children in Boston for spring break. It was our first trip to Boston. We stayed in the 2 bedroom suite and it worked perfectly. Our teen slept on the sofa in the family room which is very wide and they made it up as a bed for us. She said it was very comfortable. The bathroom is large and very nice and the toiletries were a bonus. The location is perfect. A 2 minute walk to the T and close to restaurants and shopping. The hotel was clean. The decor is a little date I think, with the brown and black but it was very clean. We loved the breakfast, very filling for us. We had oatmeal and english muffins each morning and we loved the nespresso machine. The staff was so kind as to lend us their umbrellas one day when it was raining. We did hear some traffic from the bedrooms in the mornings, trash trucks, etc but it is a city and you are in a neighborhood. Great location, great price.

I was attending a conference at a nearby, large, hotel; I am so glad that they ended up not having enough rooms. The Inn, one block off the main drag, is on a quiet brown stone-filled small street. I had a little kitchen, was able to shop at the grocery a few blocks away, and this was an oasis from the loud meetings. Loved the bedding, particularly the blankets, and the staff is helpful, when needed. This is definitely where I will choose to stay when in Boston again.

We just got back from a 4 night stay at the Inn. What a charming hotel! The rooms are decorated beautifully and the staff went out of their way to help us with all of our questions. This was our first time in Boston, so we needed help getting around. The locations was close to the T which made navigating fairly easy. We would stay here again without hesitation! The Inn had a boutique hotel feel to it versus the big chains.
"A lucky find!"

After four nights in this superbly appointed Inn I really didn't want to move on. The weather was not perfect but because of the close proximity to restaurants, shops...and Fenway Park...my stay was most enjoyable. Nothing is too far away including the start of the Freedom Trail and the spectacular State Library. It will be my accommodation of choice when I next visit Boston.
"Hidden Gem in Boston"

I lived in Boston for 10 years and had no idea this Inn existed. It's a hidden gem in the Back Bay/South End area and you will not be disappointed. Wonderful rooms, good central areas and an excellent location near many T lines (both bus and train). It's also a short walk from the Amtrak station (Back Bay) and minutes from many excellent restaurants in the South End. Highly recommend it. Will definitely stay here again.
