"Lovely gem near Hynes and Prudential Centers"
This is a small boutique type hotel, in a 4-5 story brownstone building. There is a quite small gym (just some free weights, one elliptical and one stationary bike), a small living-room like room for breakfast and snacks (which were out and available all day long), with a coffee/expresso/cappuccino maker. My room was relatively large sized, with nice […] but small bathroom, kitchenette which I used only for coffee making, a full-size refrigerator, a large desk and an in-room safe. The queen bed was comfortable. The view from my window was of other brownstones. The area was fairly quiet at night. Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review
"Very convenient location for a stay in Boston"
The rooms are very nice, however the walls are not very soundproof, and I could hear water running, toilets flushing, voices… A bit of a shame!Genuine Expedia guest review
"great hidden gem in back bay"
This hotel that looks like apartments is down the street from the biggest and nicest hotels in the back bay/copley area. The room was much bigger than what you would get at any of the big chain hotels and it had a full kitchen. The only downside is that there is no parking but there are plenty of lots nearby if you can't find parking on the street.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"most hostile staff ever, do NOT book"
the staff was exceedingly rude and pushy. one particular (Ted) was unbelievably obnoxious and presumptuous. never been treated like that as a guest of a hotel, they should be in the healthcare business with their attitude towards customers. do NOT stay here, the colonnade is next door and a great value.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Awesome place to stay in Back Bay"
Great place to stay if you like walking around Back Bay. The Inn almost felt like a stylish dorm room. A fridge, 2 burner stove and microwave were in my room so I was able to get some groceries a block or two away. Two blocks up the street is the Prudential Center so great shoping there or if you walk down the way some you have high end shops and a […] few decent ones in there as well. I love the area this place is in. It's in a brownstone on a nice relativley quiet street. The Inn seems to almost be a building of condos turned into a hotel-type place. The keyless entry to my room and the building was awesome, especially since I got in monday morning a little after midnight. The only downside is there is no parking near the Inn however there are plenty of parking places in various ranges all over the place because Copley Square is such a popular shoping spot. I love this place so much I wish I could buy a condo here but Back Bay is super expensive so I'll just have to settle for staying at the Inn at St. Botolph...which I don't mind at all! This was a business trip and this hotel proved to be a really choice for doing business in the Copley Plaza Prudential Tower areaGenuine Hotels.com guest review
It was unlike any hotel experience I had before, but it was great! The hotel communicated with me in advance to give me entry codes to building and my room as they have no front desk or check in. The rooms are awesome. Spacious, clean and have great extras like a kitchenette and fireplace. While there is no front desk, their staff is very helpful and […] friendly. Also give you 25% discount coupons for excellent restaurants in the area! I highly reccommend!!!! Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review
"Lovely lovely lovely"
Great location near the T, lovely side street, beautiful room, immaculate condition, free wifi, comfy, and such a nice staff to make me feel at home. A repeater definitely for future Boston trips. What can I say but stay here!Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Great Location, Comfortable "Home Away from Home.""
Staying at the St. Botolph is truly like renting an apartment for the weekend. Classic design with modern accents, quiet and comfortable. Perfect location for my needs, right next to the Prudential Center. A real hidden gem.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Try it, it is a new experience."
Though it is comfortable and very private, it may be a bit impersonal as well. The truth is there is no need for human contact, as you get a combination to get into the hotel and your room. Continental breakfast is self served in a lounge area and you ususally never see any other guests. But having free wireless internet access, gym and breakfast included […] makes a great difference. Rooms are clean and comfortable and location is prime. I do recommend it and would stay again. Read moreGenuine Expedia guest review
great stay but a little loud. We stayed in a great room - nice bed, great kitchenette We got there, had a wonderful first night but no sleep on the second due to weird noises coming from the plumbing. I spoke to the lovely staff on reception and we were moved to a quieter room - great service but shame about the plumbing noises.Genuine Expedia guest review

"A superb find in Boston"
Been before would go back again. Great location next to Prudential Center easy walking distance of Boston Common, Newbury St close to train station etc. Hotel is lovely very well decorated, very clean, comfortable beds, nice linens, continental breakfast provided (along with tea and coffee available all day), cooking facilities in room along with full […] sized fridge freezer. And most of all good value too. Last time we stayed in a one bed suite which is like a small apartment and this time in a studio-both equally nice. Staff also very helpful we dined at Moo one of their affiliated restaurants (in their sister property XV Beacon) one night and they arranged for the XV Beacon hotel car to come and pick us up and bring us back to the hotel and we got a 25% discount on our meal. This really is a great find and a lovely little hotel. If you like a big fancy reception, a turn down service and waiters on tap this is not for you but don't overlook it -in all other ways it is a beautiful 5 star boutique hotel and you can still get maid service Read moreGenuine Expedia guest review

"More like an apartment than a hotel"
We loved our recent stay at the Inn at St Botolph and it was a great place to finish our 4 week USA and Canada holiday. We enjoyed having the self sufficiency of our own kitchen and a separate bedroom and living area. The hotel has lots of exterior character but modern decor inside. The neighbourhood is great and full of consistent brownstone style […] houses. Location is brilliant just near the Prudential Centre so easy access to shops and restaurants. The T station is just around the corner so easy access to downtown, seaport, Harvard etc but we also found it good if you want to walk around Boston. Boylston and Newbury streets are not far and we also walked to the Common. Staff are really helpful when you need them but also give you plenty of privacy. Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review

"The Inn At St. Botolph"
I thoroughly enjoyed my stay at the Inn. It was clean and comfortable and for how little time I spent in the room it had everything I needed. The bathroom didn't have any counter space to set ammenitites on but it was workable. I found the daytime staff friendly and helpful. I would definitely recommed this hotel.Genuine Expedia guest review

"vicino a sede congressuale"

For the past 3 years I have stayed at the Inn during the Boston Marathon. Fantastic and convenient location situated in a charming residential area near the Prudential Center. Can't say enough good things about the inn or the staff. GM, Tom DiSisto, should earn awards for his hospitality and attentive manner in which he makes his guests feel so welcome. The entire staff is personable and very professional. The rooms are nicely appointed with comfortable furnishings and a good variety of amenities. The kitchenette comes well equipped to make basic meals. Guests have access to a washer and dryer on the lower floor level. There is also a tiny workout room, but it has the necessary equipment for a quick workout. The small lounge, where a continental breakfast is served, is cozy, though no breakfast tables or chairs. Guests gather around a big coffee table with large cushioned lounge chairs around it. I will forever be grateful for the care and comfort I was given by the staff during the Marathon bombing event of 2013. Returning to run the 2014 marathon, I demonstrated the "Boston Strong" spirit by sharing hugs of boundless joy and gratitude with my special friends at the Inn at St. Botolph.
"A real win, all around!!!"

The Inn at St. Botolph has it all. This boutique hotel is conveniently located just a half city-block walking distance from the Prudential center (a major shopping and business plaza). The hotel also is within walking distance of many great restaurants and bars (like Jasper White's Summer Shack, mmm mmm). We stayed here for a one-night stay, to celebrate our 11th wedding anniversary. The room (#101, a small suite) was cozy, well appointed, and had every amenity needed to make your stay a home away from home. Whether you stayed in our headed out, The Inn at St. Botolph made it easy and convenient. In fact, if you needed to have an extended stay, the kitchenette was functional and had cookware, dishes, utensils, and drinking glassware at the ready. And don't even get me started on the complimentary dining area just off the main office/reception area. This hotel exceeds expectations of 'the continental breakfast' and '24-hour coffee/tea bar'!!! Did I mention the fitness center and free Wi-Fi? A basic in this day and age and The Inn at St. B has it. Same for business center services and laundry services. I seriously recommend that you check out this hotel the next time you are passing through Boston for either business or leisure. Psst psst - they even have a parking arrangement with a local garage on a first come first serve basis, which is great if you know anything about what parking costs can be like on the streets of Boston. The Inn at St. Botolph is a real gem.
"Fantastic Location/ Like Home Away from Home"

Had a great stay and was a refreshing change compared to the typical hotels. It's a great location, and friendly staff as well. I'd definitely recommend if you are heading to downtown Boston. Very close to the Mall and great restaurants.
"Style and individuality in a great location"

This attractive little inn near the Prudential Center is a smart choice for independent travelers who prize charm, walkability and personality over swarms of uniformed staff. No bellhop greets you on arrival. To open the door, you punch in a personal code that's been provided in advance and make your way to the office on the lower level. Any help or advice you need will be cheerfully provided; otherwise, you're on your own. My king suite was full of touches that separate this inn from the change. Numbered photographic prints hang on the walls; the decorative ceramics didn't look as if they came from an assembly line. And the windows opened--such a rarity these days. The desk was designed to double as a table where two could eat comfortably (although I wouldn't want to cook a meal in the equipped kitchenette, where a toaster oven encroached on the available burner space). Biggest drawbacks: a rain shower that looked impressive but didn't deliver on heat or pressure, and thin walls. My closest neighbors were not noisy people but I heard every word they spoke (in Spanish, fortunately, which I don't speak). The inn provides an extremely rudimentary breakfast of cereal, yogurt and bagels or English muffins. Unlike the chains, it doesn't offer fresh fruit. Plus side: with two large Nespresso machines, you don't have to head out for your first morning coffee. While the shower and the walls might be deal-breakers for some, the inn was an affordable fit for me--an easy walk from the Museum of Fine Arts, the historic Boston Public Library, the shops on Newbery Street and Tremont Street's appealing neighborhood restaurants. There's also loads of shopping right around the corner in the Prudential Center
"Lovely bed and breakfast!"
12/11/14 Eileen K Miami, Florida
It was the perfect, cozy getaway to spend parents' weekend with my daughter, who is attending college in Boston. It is centrally located and quite homey! Being from Miami, it was lovely to have a warm fireplace in the living room (we rented the one bedroom suite). I plan to stay again and I hope not too many people discover this wonderful gem! Downstairs, it was also lovely to have a nice continental breakfast. Further, staff was extremely responsive to our needs. Highly recommend!
"First stay in Boston"

Excellent. I will certainly stay here again. The staff were very helpful. My room had a kitchen with a coffee maker, but, being British I needed a kettle to make tea. A kettle was provided next day. Excellent location - very close to the "T" (subway).
"innovative, kind, unique!"

What a lovely, small place. I liked the innovations - codes for the door and room (no need for check in!), great small cooking area, nice lounge (self serve everything). The nice people at the front desk saved me when I didn't have dinner reservations (found me a car service to take me to a place I couldn't get to on my own). Thanks!

I stayed 1 night at the Inn. It is within walking distance to the Boston Pops, in which I had holiday concert tickets. I had a 1 bedroom suite on the 2nd floor. I found the location quiet and comfortable. Tom, the hotel manager, assisted me with my parking accommodations. The Inn has an arrangement with an indoor parking garage, which is 1 block away. Tom provides you with a parking pass. The rate is $35./night, which is bit less than other main parking garages in the area. I think staying at the Inn is nicer than a chain hotel, for the ambiance and the staff's interpersonal style.
"Great Stay for Thanksgiving Week"

I live in the neighborhood and recently put family up at the Inn at St Botolph for the holiday week. Outstanding! Great cozy feel and terrific service. All amenities one would look for (fitness, b-fast buffet, internet, etc) in a charming Inn type atmosphere. Superb location too. Highly recommend!
"Great Hotel/Great location"
12/01/14 Maxine43 Sterling Heights, Michigan
My husband and I stayed at the Inn instead of one of the suggested hotels for a convention we attended. I am so glad we did, and I would book again when we return with our son next year and stay in one of the larger rooms for families (they looked nice too). We stayed in a studio suite on the 4th floor. We had no noise issues at all and the bed was very comfortable. The complimentary continental breakfast (instant oatmeal, cereal, coffee, juice, yogurt) was perfectly fine for our stay and the free WIFI worked great. I thought the room was an incredible value and with much more ambiance than the other standard hotels in the area. Our suite was made up daily (on request) and was clean, the towels looked and felt new. We loved not having keys to deal with, instead using the code to access the property. This is a fantastic location with shopping, sights, and restaurants in walking distance and the Green line right across the street in the Prudential Center. The Inn was almost fully booked during our stay, but it felt like we had the place to ourselves. This is not a standard hotel; no room service, pool, bar, but it feels more like a vacation rental---except you know what to expect and your not on your own. At check in we had an issue with our television and the manager came up immediately and fixed it for us. Although we did not receive our welcome gift when we checked in, there are some stains on the carpet and furniture, and you do have to pay in full at booking, this is still my new favorite Boston hotel. We will definitely return.
