The hotel's decor is stunning and unique, with something to see at every turn. The service was very professional and the room spotless. Intimate, small hotel across the street from Biltmore entrance in the heart of Biltmore village. Lots of character and beautiful decor. Within walking distance from many restaurants and shops. My reservation was for a room across the street in the "annex", but I was upgraded to the main building upon request at check in for no additional charge. Beautiful […] bathrooms with soaking tubs and separate shower. Bring your own bubble bath since there's a $20 charge to use the room's stocked lavender bubble bath. Only downside: the TRAIN. The Grand Bohemian was an outstanding hotel experience. I never seem to sleep well until about the 3rd night of a business trip. This is a first in a long while that I found comfort starting with the first night. I look forward to returning to Asheville and I'll be sure to stay at the Grand Bohemian when I do.

Hotel staff was courteous and very helpful. Decor was eclectic but cozy. The room was really nice with a deep tub and seperate shower. Could do without the glass door in the toilet area. The Red Stag restaurant is just amazing. I will definitely stay here on my next trip to Asheville.

The hotel is great and the staff was very personable and helpful. The location is wonderful. Go to Fig for dinner and drinks and Wayside for after dinner drinks where you'll get to meet some locals. Fun time! Also great location for the Biltmore.

Interesting experience. I've never been to a hotel where the walls to the bathroom were mere curtains. I still like a bathroom experience to be private....So that part was a bit strange.

I was disappointed in how small the room was and also the fact there was no refrigerator. We were gone 11 nights on vacation and our three nights at the Grand Bohemian had the smallest room and was the only one with no refrigerator or microwave.

We loved our room and our stay here! The only negative we can come up with is that it is located in a busy spot and we heard the train coming through at 4 am. Other than that, we really enjoyed our stay! The Red Stag restaurant is exceptional!

The towels were big and thirsty, the sheets thick and soft, and the rooms spacious, clean, and comfortable. Dining room was tasty so only glitch was the slow Internet. It should be noted that the Biltmore Village is feeling a little tired. Not quite the shopping experience described in brochures and online.

Overall hotel was beautiful. Very expensive, but was willing to spend the money for our 20th wedding anniversary. My biggest complaint was that a soaking tube is advertised and pictured for the room that we reserved. However, we were put in the handicapped room without any notice and when we arrived in our room at 9pm noticed that only a shower was […] in the room. Called to see if we could switch rooms and was told that there were no rooms with a tub available. Considering I booked my room 2 months in advance and was expecting a large tub in my room I was disappointed. For so much $$$ they should have a least asked before placing us in a handicapped room. The bed was very comfortable, and the room kept very clean. Heard other people complaining about the train, but it didn't wake me. The restaurant had good breakfast and dinner, but once again very expensive. Breakfast cost $50! Parking is an additional $15/day with mandatory valet parking. Would recommend hotel, just be prepared to shell out a lot of cash. Read more

Our three night stay was extremely nice. The hotel is walking distance from great shops and restaurants and it's also right across the street from the entrance to the Biltmore Estate. The rooms are generously proportioned with lots of places to put suitcases out of the way. Be sure to try out the in-house restaurant -- the food is exceptional.

We had to press the pedestrian traffic light, cross the road wtih our luggage, and carry it up a set of stairs, rain or shine. Then to top it off, there is a train that passes through with HORN BLARING 3-4 times per night. Top Notch accommodations. Attentive and polite, helpful staff. Perfect location. Only thing that would improve it is to allow self parking. Charge a parking fee, but let me come and go without the valet hassle. The valet staff is great, it's just a pain to go through it while vacationing.

I'm surprised that this was listed as a 4.5 star hotel. It was every bit as nice as a Ritz. The only drawback was the traffic noise. Next time I'll ask for a room that's on the opposite side for the entrance to the Biltmore Estate. Great hotel.

We loved everything about it (almost), but the constant trains at night were surprising for a hotel of this level. Three or four trains came through in the middle of the night with horns blaring and it would wake up any human. Perhaps this is not a daily occurrence.
