Booked a king room. Got a room with two queens. Booked this hotel for the indoor pool & hot tub. Tot tub was not in service. Business center has only one computer. Reasonable distance to University of Dayton & Dayton Mall. Indoor guest amenities included pool table, enclosed "Ball" Room with ball related games for kids. I was a little disappointed that the whirlpool was out of service during our stay but sometimes this happens. Room was comfortable, staff was very friendly and professional. When booked was informed that there was no rooms available with 2 beds but upon arrival was upgraded to a different room with 2 beds at no additional cost.

This is an older Hotel(old Holidome concept). We were only there for the night and was in a tower room. The Hotel was clean, there are signs of age but nothing I felt was out of line. The Room was also clean and comfortable. There is a Restaurant and Lounge on site but we did not try either so I can not offer any opinion on quality or service. YUCK! Whirlpool/Sauna not working, Cold in hallways and elevater, had to ask for blanket as none was on bed, sheets only! Bar is closed down, game room of aprox. 15 games all broke and off except 1! Cold breakfast and very little to chose from! I will Not be returning!

Did not feel safe in this area of town, but since we weren't familiar with this area we didn't know that when we checked in. Hotel grounds are not well kept, looked very run-down. I would not have chosen to stay in this hotel, and would not have stayed had i not already agreed to it since it was one of those "agree to the room before we show the hotel […] name/location" deals. Terrible. I could not sleep because I was uneasy about the cleanliness. There was an old musty smell that obviously slightly smelled of smoke. I assuming the hotel used to be one that allowed smoking in the rooms. The down comforter on the bed had lots of stains that did not even look like they were washed stains. The edges of the white down comforter […] were gray. The sheets had a weird smell to them as well. I am not sure if this place washes their bedding every new customer, but it sure did not seem that way. The pillows were uncomfortable and small. It felt so dirty that I made sure to put on my flip flops just to go to the bathroom in the middle of the night. The parking lot was very poorly lit and there was a security guard out front. I was not familiar with the area but I assume it is not the best part of town. The only thing positive about the hotel was the staff and the pool, which we did not get a chance to swim in. Read more

First and formost- The staff was excellent! I felt bad for them the hotel did not meet THEIR standard of service. Each person was helpful, kind, and eager to make the stay better. While well out of the Metro area, this older hotel is still a great value. There is an on-site restrurant that I didn't try, but not a lot of placs to eat nearby. The free breakfast was marginal. This is an older hotel in need of a face lift. It is priced like a 3 star hotel as it has a small onsite restaurant. It is primarily a conference center but when we were there it was filled to near capacity with teenage baseball players. It has a great pool and the kids were in there contstantly. Unfortunantly during our stay the entire motel was booked with unruley loud children. Beyond that the front desk was slow, and rude. The shower was handicap accessible (unecessarily) and impossible to use with out flooding the whole bathroom. In a word awful. Let me list a few of the problems we had. There was mold all over the wall by the air conditioner. And turning it on filled the room with the scent of mold. We had to call three time for sheet for the pull out bed and extra towels. The sheet finally came about an hour later. I don't know how this hotel rates this many stars. We checked in at midnight, several unsavory looking people hanging out at the entrance with the security guy. KIng room with a sleeper sofa. The room seemed a little stuffy and there were no sheets for the sleeper. While I hiked back to the front desk to request some sheets, my husband turned the air […] on and noticed peeling wallpaper and about 3 square feet of mold on the wall by the air unit. Must have been mold in the unit too because by the time I got back the room smelled so bad that when I walked in my eyes started watering and my throat started burning. Hiked back to the front to request a different room. 20 minutes later the night clerk (who was at least very pleasant) found a new room. We moved to the new room, stuffy, but bearable. Took two hours for the room to cool with the air pushed up to maximum. Spent the night on mattress in which you could feel each coil. Bedspreads had nasty organic stains on them. Sheets appeared to be clean. Next morning we discovered that the bath tub (which was black on the bottom and then covered with an equally black shower mat) filled with each shower because of bad drainage. The free breakfast included very stale pastries, some gravy and biscuits and some watery gruel like looking oatmeal. Our friend's room was equally bad, also had mold on the wall and stained, holey towels with coarse black hairs embedded in them. Don't stay here!! Read more

Upkeep was terrible. Peeling wallpaper. Broken picture frames. Leaking toilet. Stained bedspreads. Sagging beds.Trash piled by outer doors. Though room "appeared" clean, it did not "feel" clean. Room shakes from interstate nearby. If stay was for more than a quick few hours of sleep, we would have left.
