Hotel staff very friendly. nice lobby, good breakfast with fresh fruits and no plastic dishes. After complaining about the size of suite we were sold for 5 persons (definitely too small and not a fair sale) we were given complimentary upgrade to a two bed room suite by the manager which was very much appreciated. Free parking and free wireless internet are very convenient as well as close access to highway and airport.

Free shuttle to the hotel from airport. Nice exercise room and pool. Room was very comfortable, staff friendly, and hotel was well-maintained and clean. Shuttle provided by hotel to points of interest and cruiseport. Definite return stay next time catching a cruise out of Ft. Lauderdale.

Located in a shopping development, Mizner Place at Weston Town Center is 1 mile from Weston Hills Golf Club and 3 miles from the Wyndham Resort and Spa. Everglades Holiday Park offers outdoor recreation 6 miles away, and Sawgrass Mills Mall is 8 miles away.
Hotel Features.
The all-suites Mizner Place at Weston Town Center is built in Florida Mizner period style, influenced by Mediterranean and Spanish architecture. The hotel is built around an outdoor pool, a children's pool, and a spa tub. A fitness facility is included, and guests can play tennis on 16 lighted tournament-style clay and hard courts at the Weston Tennis Center. A business center and Internet room are provided, and wireless Internet access is complimentary. A guest lounge offers a quiet spot for relaxation. A concierge desk is offered, and the staff is multilingual. Laundry facilities are provided, and garage parking is complimentary.

"Not so great..."
Not allowed to check-in until after the stated check in time. I am guessing not enough housekeeping staff to turn the rooms around. All of a sudden in the middle of our stay the room keys stopped working. I went to the front desk and instead of a quick apology and a re-configuring of the keys it turned in to a 45 minute Q&A like I did something wrong […] and I never did get a logical explanation why the keys stoppoed working, something about "we were supposed to switch rooms" ? We were 1219 B and some very, very, very rude and inconsiderate and and obnoxious and downright mean people came in to 1219 A and slammed doors and played the TV loud and shouted all night long. My boyfriend and I were only there for a weekend but we were wishing to stay a whole week. It was a great experience. Everyone was so helpful. Our room was huge and it comes with all you need. I can't wait to go and stay there again. This hotel should defiently be given 5 stars.

We were misled and thought we'd be staying in a hotel, not a condo time-share type of place. Hence some of the usual hotel amenities (e.g., iron, decent sample of shampoo) were missing. The upside was the that "room" was spacious and comfortable - as it was really a suite, and the kitchen was an unexpected but nice bonus. There was no breakfast available […] in the hotel (we had thought there was a "cafe" on sight; this was incorrect). The place was EXTREMELY difficult to find - we spent about 15 minutes wandering all around the Weston Town center, asking people, getting nowhere. There needs to be better signs. In the morning we tried to find the local Starbuck's for breakfast. Two different employees of Mizner Place gave us absolutely terrible and misleading directions. Another 15 minutes wandering around the Weston town center. So all in all mixed. If you know what you are getting into, it is probably a very nice place. Read more

We are somewhat surprised that you had difficulty finding the resort because it sits on Bonaventure Blvd., which is considered the heart of the town of Weston. Mizner Place does not have a café because our own backyard features Weston Town Center that boasts a variety of shopping, dining, and entertainment options. We hope you consider staying with us again so that we may continue to prove that we are the best choice for lodging for those visiting the Fort Lauderdale area.

As mentioned in a review before booking this room it did take quite a long time to actually check in. The rooms were spacious and clean and close to restaurants and shopping. There was a single locked door in the hallway and then little alcove with rooms A and B also locked. This made it dififcult catching up with our friends because they couldn't just […] knock on our door when they were ready. Also, the reason I won't stay here again is the beds were very uncomfortable and pillows were hard! Sleep comfort is of the upmost importance to me when I travel! Read more

This is a time share. Booking through hotels.com caused their heads to spin when I arrived for check in. They had to get the manager involved and he had to basically re-book the reservation. After a long flight, the last thing I want to do is sit for 20 minutes in the lobby. Mind you this is at 8PM at night and no one else was checking in. I'd hate […] to see it when it's busy. After patiently waiting, the front desk clerk came back and was filling out a form for me to sign. As he filled out the form he periodically looked up to watch the TV on the wall. What the..... I've been standing here for over 20 minutes, we have one more piece of paper to sign and you're watching the TV...and laughing? Outside of my check-in experience the staff was very pleasant. This is a time share. There is only weekly house keeping (although there were plenty of towels). I got my room here during off-season in early November. The size of these rooms is like a 1 bedroom apartment. My suite with a king size bed had a full kitchen, living room, big bathroom and big bedroom. The 10AM check out is annoying but most people can deal with it. My wife tagged along on a business trip and she thoroughly enjoyed herself relaxing by the pool. The Weston shops right next door allowed her to make a hair appointment and walk to it. The Publix grocery store is right across the street and very handy to have with the full kitchen. Read more

We found the room shabby, depressing, not fresh and unpleasant smell. We have stayed there before, but it might have been in another section it was much better.

The couch in room should be updated. Blinds on sliding doors bad. Lock on sliding door bad.
We appreciate your comments because if gives us insight on what areas we need improvement. However we wish you had advised the front desk about the problems with the sliding door when you were here so we would have had the chance to correct the problem. This is a great hotel with superior rooms. The only problem we had was a very slow check-in. Once we finished our hour long check-in, it was a marvelous vacation.

The rooms were spacious and complete with all necessary items and amenities. Wireless Internet is available in rooms but at an additional cost. The location was excellent for those like me who do not need to go into downtown Miami. Close to Sawgrass Mills and Weston is a beautiful place.

We have found the place for us when visiting Florida in the Weston area. It was great. The staff were what got me the most. Everyone was friendly and ready to assist with your needs if any. The shops and resturants right next to us was a plus. We even shopped at publix and walked to it how easy is that. The hotel was very clean and fresh atmosphere. Ideal location to see mainly Miami and sorounding areas safe clean all shoping beaches dining ...etc are availble or near by higly recommended for vistors to Miami with children.

Trata.se de um apart hotel e voce so tera arrumadeira a cada quatro dias !!! voce tera de ter suas proprias toalhas. Deveria ser destacado no site e no check in,esta deficiencia. Existem muitas pessoas "policiando" os hospedes e muito poucas para ajuda.los...

hay dos puntos de los cuales no me perecieron, primero nos llaman ofreciendonos un desayuno gratis con un deposito de $ 20 sin decirnos que era una charla para ofrecer la compra de un tiempo compartido y en el momento que nos presentamos y vimos que era eso dije que no me interesaba y la respuesta fue que no nos devolvian los $ 20 . En el segundo punto […] es la primera vez que en una estadia quieran cobrarme un alquiler por utilizar la caja de seguridad del cuarto. Eso deberia estar ya dentro del servicio.
