Our stay was great, perfect location and clean. Would recommend for anyone heading to Austin.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"not worth the expense"
Hotel layout was strange. "Rooftop pool" was on the roof of the parking garage and shaded by the hotel itself in the afternoon. Went for the "rooftop pool and close proximity to UT, definitely not worth it. The pool was also very small. This shouldn't be a selling point!Genuine Hotels.com guest review
Excellent facility. Parking on site. Everything new and clean. High quality fixtures. Competent and friendly staff. Comfortable room. Great location. First class bed. The only problem was that I could only stay two nights and I wish I could have stayed a week.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
Terrific service, great food, very nice room. I love this hotelGenuine Hotels.com guest review
My son and I stayed for his interview at UT. The waitstaff who brought our breakfast (a woman), was so impressive and engaged in conversation with us and when we were leaving the hotel we saw her and she asked my son how his visit went at UT. IMPRESSIVE that she remembered him from 2 days prior!Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Nice hotel next to UT campus"
Great place to stay! Located on the edge of the UT campus, easy walking to museums and the Texas capital building. We walked to 6th street and the Congress Bridge for bat viewing (a longer walk) then drove the next day to dinner on South Congress. Hotel is very nice, staff especially the valet staff were very helpful and efficient. Had a good lunch […] at Gabriel's Café, as well. Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review
"Close to the Capitol and the Star of Texas Museum"
It was in the part of Austin where we wanted to stay. The quality of the room and hotel were above average and the price was higher than what we'd have paid farther away, but that had value to us.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
Rooms are clean and modern. Very comfortable. Location is convenient and the bar is great. Valet guys work their butts off!Genuine Hotels.com guest review
Great, really enjoyed my stay, will return.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
Great property and location if you need to be around the university. Lots of nearby nightlife and quality restaurants. We will stay there again if in the area.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
Not a great vaule for the cost. Check-in parking was terrible. We almost had our car hit. Need more help at the door and check-in parking.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
I was surprised to find the hotel served as a major convention center. The interior was very modern and welcoming. The staff was friendly and even had a wine opener since we left ours at home. I would definitely recommend this place. Short distance to 6th st, maybe a 11.00 cab ride split between friends.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"At the campus, not quite downtown, but wonderful."
This is a gorgeous new building with a gracious and even grand atmosphere in the public areas, but simple rather than ornate. The rooms are well furnished and geared to the electronic traveler. The food and bar facilities are also beautiful and the quality and service were high. The hotel is a ways from downtown; about a half hour walk, and in Austin, […] a half hour walk can be a sauna. However, there was always a cab line, so getting a ride no problem. If you are in Austin without a rented car, download the Yellow Cab app in advance; otherwise getting a cab can be tricky. My favorite part of the hotel: It is bathed in glorious AT&T wi-fi, rooms, lobby, restaurant, no extra charges, and no logons, the latter two being the most annoying things a hotel can do to an electronic traveler. So a great hotel, super people, reasonably convenient, and a very happy wi-fi experience. (Of course, if you are attending a conference there, then it is perfectly convenient.) "Excellent hotel. This was more than we expected."
This was an excellent hotel with a great location. You could walk downtown thru the university grounds. The carillon restaurant was exceptional. The food presentation and taste of small dishes is well worth a try. One of best dinning places - must do. A very popular hotel so must book.Genuine Expedia guest review
"Great location, 2 1/2 - 3 star room, too pricey"
Location is great for downtown, $9 cab to west 6th st. The double queen room was $356 and not impressive, small bathroom... You could barely get out of the shower with the bathroom door closed, and it was a roller door. No privacy for people obviously sharing a room (double queen). The room was worn and dated. Staff was very nice and helpful. Your paying […] for local only. It's a good hotel that needs an upgrade, not worth $300+ Read moreGenuine Expedia guest review
First class hotel with exceptional service! I have no complaints.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Close to campus"
Overpriced needs updating. We wanted to watch a movie but were told this isn't possible only HBO available.Genuine Expedia guest review
"Visiting UT on foot"
The hotel is fine, only fine, but after what they charge you I expected more than fine......it offers fewer details and less amenities than other hotel chains that charge a third of the price. The only reason to stay there is if you plan to walk while on campus, and secure your airport to hotel transport beforehand because they don't have a shuttle […] service. "Overpriced and not really convenient"
Unfortunately, I didn't particularly enjoy the stay here. I think it was overpriced for the quality of the service and the proximity to the city. The hotel itself was reasonably nice and the amenities were fine, but I wasn't too impressed. When we asked the concierge for assistance with places to shop and grab a drink, he was pretty short and basically […] told us there was nothing nearby. I would not recommend this hotel for the price and for the overall quality of service. Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review
We were there for SXSW. The location was great. Beer & music were great!Genuine Expedia guest review
"Good value overall"
Nice hotel, clean rooms, nice staff upon check-in. The valet group was one of the most poorly organized groups I've seen. They would stand around while we waited for the keys next to our car and make us wait. A few times a valet would walk up to the car and not even utter a word and simply take the keys from you.Genuine Expedia guest review

Enjoyed the hotel.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Its never as good as the first time."
I stayed at this hotel when it was brand new. I remember falling with it and the sheets. This time around the sheets were rough and scratchy. I have stayed at other hotels in Austin on other occasions, because this hotel gets booked very fast. The little things like the sheets that separated themselves from the other hotels have disappeared. For the […] money I would rather stay at the Four Seasons and The Driskill. "Nice hotel, good location"
Pretty enjoyable stay at the hotel. It's on campus to pretty convenient to downtown, S. Congress, Zilker Park, etc. Only issue we had was a lack of hot water. Not sure what the problem was, but the temperature would only get to just above room temperature which makes for an unpleasant shower. Other than that, it was pretty good.Genuine Hotels.com guest review

"Lovely room, great location"
We were on a college search trip at UT. Perfect location. Walk to campus. The Austin Marathon was that weekens so the traffic was crazy. Regretted renting a car because we could have taken public transportation from the airport. Wonderful city! My first time there. Hotel was exactly what we wanted.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Excelent hotel in Austin Downtown."

"Convenient hotel on UT campus"
If you try to visit UT, this hotel is close to everywhere. Decent and clean. I forgot my toothbrush, they provided one right away. Just not sure about its price in busy times.Genuine Expedia guest review
"Perfect for visiting the University of Texas"
My wife and I traveled to Austin to visit the University and participate in several events on campus. We were very pleased with the hotel's location and the overall service we received while staying there. While it is definitely on the expensive end of the spectrum, it is worth it if you have a busy week or weekend of activities at the University.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
My only negative was that the reading light in the room was poor. No reading light around the Murphy bed nor the sofa. Room on 3rd floor.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Great for university events"
We were able to walk to many attractions and the campus is a great place for a jog/run/walk.Genuine Expedia guest review

"Excellent hotel close to downtown and UT Austin"
Very nice hotel, great staff who seemed genuinely interested in helping us enjoy our stay in Austin. Our rooms were lovely...the coffee bar was great... We will definitely stay here again when we travel to Austin.Genuine Expedia guest review
"Fun to be right on Campus"
This hotel offered a unique location right on campus at UT. It was a bit of a walk from 6th street, but cabs were cheap and always available. I would recommend this hotel as a good value option for those who are okay with walking or cabbing it to the more desirable locations.Genuine Expedia guest review
"Great hotel location near Frank Erwin Center"
We had a very pleasant stay at this hotel. Our check in was very smooth and the front desk person was very informative and helpful. There were four of us that stayed in a double queen room, while the room was big enough for us the bathroom was quite small. The beds weren't awful but they weren't the most luxurious I've slept on at other similar hotels. […] The room itself was nicely decorated, the TV was a little small but overall we had a nice stay. It may be a tad bit overpriced for what you do/don't get but I think you are mostly paying for location. Read moreGenuine Expedia guest review
Perfect place to stay in Austin. Great value for money spent. Absolutely loved it. Stayed in adjoining rooms with kids. Access to UT campus and workout facilities. Food tremendous. Both Quick and sit down breakfasts. Will not stay anywhere else in Austin.Genuine Hotels.com guest review

Ok.. However, the restroom too small.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Good hotel to stay"
Nice Location, generous staffs. In our room, I noticed some dusty on desk and floor. A/C is a little noisy during the night sleep. I like the view of the room and bathroom is nice, but I expect to have some handle bars nearby the bathtubs. Good hotel to stay.Genuine Expedia guest review

"Family enjoyed Christmas stay"
The AT&T Conference Center and Hotel is next to the University of Texax campus and across the street from the Blanton Art Museum and the Texas History Museum. This is the second time we put the family there for our Christmas reunion (five hotel rooms). They also enjoyed renting bicycles at the hotel to ride sround campus and town. Campus is very quiet […] during the winter break, and room prices are lower at that time. Family members remarked that the rooms were luxurious and the bathrooms very nice, with fabulous water pressure. Two years ago when I tried to make reservations on-line directy with the hotel, I had difficulty with the screen where I entered my husband's university ID number for his faculty discount. It kept recycling back to he original web page. So we went to the hotel in person to make our reservations and show his university ID. "We only give that discount on-line," I was told. The manager agreed it was a Catch-22 to require on-line booking for the discount, but with a malfunctioning web page. I asked, "May I go the office and explain it to them?" He said the office where the discounts are handled was off-limits to the public. After that frustating experience, this year we booked through Expedia so I wouldn't have to deal with the hotel management again. The Expedia experience went smoothly and professionally. "Excellent location for a get away"
Great ExperienceGenuine Hotels.com guest review
We were disappointed with the rooms as well as the service. The room refrigerators and two lamps did not work properly and our rooms were not tended (clean towels, etc.) without our contacting for service. Not what we expected.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
Got a wonderful tower view room on the sixth floor. The service was wonderful, both restaurants were great and the room service in the morning was prompt and delicious too! Loved the location, right across the Catholic Center and only 5 minutes walking distance to any building on campus!Genuine Expedia guest review
Beautiful hotel with friendly, efficient staff. The room was nicely appointed. My cable didn't work so when I called the front desk to report the problem a technician was dispatched within minutes. A extended checkout was cheerfully granted. If you have reason to visit the UT campus, this is the hotel for you.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Nice Hotel on UT Campus"
We loved everything about our stay except for the two people in the room next to ours; they were so loud! Other than that (which the hotel can't help), we enjoyed the hotel. We had a UT Clock Tower View and was beautiful when the Tower was lit up!! If you eat at one place during your stay - have the Gabe's Nachos at Gabriel's - they are FANTASTIC!!Genuine Hotels.com guest review
