Perfect place to stay in Austin. Great value for money spent. Absolutely loved it. Stayed in adjoining rooms with kids. Access to UT campus and workout facilities. Food tremendous. Both Quick and sit down breakfasts. Will not stay anywhere else in Austin.Genuine Hotels.com guest review

Ok.. However, the restroom too small.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Good hotel to stay"
Nice Location, generous staffs. In our room, I noticed some dusty on desk and floor. A/C is a little noisy during the night sleep. I like the view of the room and bathroom is nice, but I expect to have some handle bars nearby the bathtubs. Good hotel to stay.Genuine Expedia guest review
"Nice hotel, walking distance to campus"
This hotel is an excellent value and in a great location, especially if you need to be by the UT campus. The location is convenient and very reasonably priced. Would definitely stay here again and recommend to others.Genuine Expedia guest review

"Family enjoyed Christmas stay"
The AT&T Conference Center and Hotel is next to the University of Texax campus and across the street from the Blanton Art Museum and the Texas History Museum. This is the second time we put the family there for our Christmas reunion (five hotel rooms). They also enjoyed renting bicycles at the hotel to ride sround campus and town. Campus is very quiet […] during the winter break, and room prices are lower at that time. Family members remarked that the rooms were luxurious and the bathrooms very nice, with fabulous water pressure. Two years ago when I tried to make reservations on-line directy with the hotel, I had difficulty with the screen where I entered my husband's university ID number for his faculty discount. It kept recycling back to he original web page. So we went to the hotel in person to make our reservations and show his university ID. "We only give that discount on-line," I was told. The manager agreed it was a Catch-22 to require on-line booking for the discount, but with a malfunctioning web page. I asked, "May I go the office and explain it to them?" He said the office where the discounts are handled was off-limits to the public. After that frustating experience, this year we booked through Expedia so I wouldn't have to deal with the hotel management again. The Expedia experience went smoothly and professionally. "Excellent location for a get away"
Great ExperienceGenuine Hotels.com guest review
We were disappointed with the rooms as well as the service. The room refrigerators and two lamps did not work properly and our rooms were not tended (clean towels, etc.) without our contacting for service. Not what we expected.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
Got a wonderful tower view room on the sixth floor. The service was wonderful, both restaurants were great and the room service in the morning was prompt and delicious too! Loved the location, right across the Catholic Center and only 5 minutes walking distance to any building on campus!Genuine Expedia guest review
Beautiful hotel with friendly, efficient staff. The room was nicely appointed. My cable didn't work so when I called the front desk to report the problem a technician was dispatched within minutes. A extended checkout was cheerfully granted. If you have reason to visit the UT campus, this is the hotel for you.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Nice Hotel on UT Campus"
We loved everything about our stay except for the two people in the room next to ours; they were so loud! Other than that (which the hotel can't help), we enjoyed the hotel. We had a UT Clock Tower View and was beautiful when the Tower was lit up!! If you eat at one place during your stay - have the Gabe's Nachos at Gabriel's - they are FANTASTIC!!Genuine Hotels.com guest review
Loved out stay. The AT&T Hotel & Conf Center is brand new and SO nice! We will be back...Genuine Hotels.com guest review

"Good when you are on a budget"
The hotel is big and right on the campus and close to the center of the city and nightlife. The rooms are big, almost too big and lack any personality (but clean), so if you are looking for something with a design point of view this is not the place. The bed is very comfortable and the shower is great. Also a good gym on site. The bar downstairs make […] a good drink but nothing is open past 10, including the room service. The staff was less than helpful. But if you are on a budget and want/need to stay in the center of town a good option. Read moreGenuine Expedia guest review
"Great Hotel, room and bed, but...."
The entire time - and I don't know if it was the room or being on the top floor - we could hear pipes banging. It was annoying and had the potential to disturb our sleep. It was a very ice facility, the staff was great, the room nice and the bed/bedding/towels very good. But, the noise was constant. Next time we'll try another floor~Genuine Expedia guest review
"Exceedingly average and exceedingly overpriced"
Nothing special about this one. Unless you need to go to the University, this is not the place to stay. My business was at the convention center, 1.5 miles away. The cost of this hotel was as much or more than the beautiful suites by the convention center. Expedia failed me with misleading reviews and convenience. Not worth the cost for a very average, […] sort-of comfortable room with no real amenities. Read moreGenuine Expedia guest review
"Decent but Overpriced."
Told it was a couple of blocks to Bass Concert Hall. Not so. Room was average. Food was average as was the food. The bathroom was the tiniest ever. Staff was friendly. Definitely average hotel but 5* prices.Genuine Expedia guest review
"Great location; Outstanding Restaurant; Avg. Rooms"
The location is great and the Carillon Restaurant is truly outstanding - in service, food quality and presentation. The room, given the price, was barely adequate due mostly to the very small size of the bathroom. Valet parking service was great - fast and pleasant. Gift shop was closed at 5:45pm on our arrival day, but was supposed to be open until […] 6pm? Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review

"Do you pay extra for a tub?"
Our 1st room was a Murphy bed. I can get a real bed for less at almost any other hotel. 2nd room had a bed but did not have a tub. Shower only. I guess I forgot to ask prior to checking in about all the aminities. Did't really think I had to in an upscale hotel.Genuine Expedia guest review
"Do not bother!"
I have never written a review regardless of my experience. However, here it goes: DO NOT STAY HERE. I paid almost $350 a night. It had the quality of a la Quinta or at best a doubletree, actually Lower end Marriott is better. Do not waste your money. First, in no particular order: There are no blankets nor comforters. I was chilly, so I asked for […] blankets. I received an odd mixed colored sheet-style blanket, similar to a picnic blanket. If you want a fluffy comforter, go to the Westin. Next, the hotel over charged me in three separate transaction, plus the fourth, that I owed. So my credit card shut down on my return trip home. The bill SHOUKD have been 731.00. Not 731, 390, 400, 99 upon check in for incidentals, charged but not asked! There are no incidentals charged to my room. That about sums it up. Skip this. You can enjoy your time in Austin with a cheaper hotel much nicer or spend the same money and have a more luxurious experience for the money. Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review

"Convenient to campus and great accommodations."
Staff was pleasant and professional. Rooms were very nice and comfortable - had everything we needed. Had room service (ordered late at night) and the food was delicious. The hotel is located on the edge of campus so it was super convenient to walk everywhere we needed to go. They have done a great job of incorporating all things Texas and UT. Great location and excellent bar . Very happy with the valet guys and check in etc but the coffee shop was not open when it should have been and even next morning when I turned up 2 mins before it was due to open (and not another person was around) the server said he was not open for another two mins. Luckily for him , there was no other coffee option […] within walking distance or he would have lost my custom........i waited the two mins whilst he busied himself doing nothing! "Hook 'em! Very good, but not quite perfect"
I enjoyed staying here. There were only a few problems that resulted in my not giving this a perfect rating. First, this is a nice hotel, with great service, nice rooms, and a convenient location on the UT campus. Nice facilities and restaurants, good art, comfortable lobby areas. My only issues (some of this is really nitpicking): curtains in my room […] were difficult to open and close, in-room coffee and coffeemaker were among the worst I've had, no mini-bar in the room, and the combination of linens and the way the beds were made resulted in the sheets coming untucked every time I pulled the blankets back. Finally, not an issue, but something to be aware of: parking in the garage is a little expensive, but this is basically a downtown location and parking would be expensive anywhere else too. This is a really nice place! We had a wonderful stay here. Beautiful courtyard, nice rooms, very close to UT campus. The staff are all very helpful and professional. The only downside is the beds and pillows which were not as comfortable as we would have liked.Genuine Hotels.com guest review

"Great hotel in an excellent location"
We stayed for approximately one week while I was starting classes at UT - the location made this hotel ideal and it was great to have the business center available for printing and scanning. The facilities for the hotel were top notch and brand new. I was particularly impressed that the room came equipped with AT&T U-Verse so I didn't miss the beginning […] of the new season of Breaking Bad. Overall, great place. "Definition of 4 Star, pretty close to perfect"
I wanted to visit UT-Austin and quite frankly, I could not have picked a better hotel. I was extremely close to campus and very close to all the places I wanted to see in Austin. I was also close to Guadalupe Street. There were a few issues with my room. It's always weird to see a bathroom without any rugs or mats. My shower diverter broke. My bed came […] down from a bookshelf type thing and as such, I had no convenient access to a nightstand. They should include iPhone charging docks with the new lightning connectors, in these rooms, given what the rates are. The parking situation sucks so just go ahead and save up for the valet service. Yet, regardless of the problems that I had, the staff and service were excellent. The included Wifi and DVR in my room really rounded out the experience. This place is pretty close to perfect. I will be coming back here if I ever need to go to Austin again. Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review
"A Godsend for Visitors to UT"
My visit involved several days of work at the Perry-Castaneda Library, which is less than two blocks away. This hotel itself is first-rate. The rooms are tasteful and well appointed, many with very nice views of the UT Tower. The garage is easily accessible and quite reasonable. I found the staff unfailingly courteous and helpful.Genuine Expedia guest review

"Best quality and location on campus"
This hotel is the best located available. They quality was surprisingly good. The name threw me as I assumed it was a convention center, but it is actually a top quality hotel with excellent food service and a nice bar.Genuine Expedia guest review
The staff was very friendly and the hotel is well located. The only issue i had was the fact that the AC was not running that great and the cleaning service only showed up late in the afternoon after we were already back in the room so we only got new towels. Other that that good hotel. I would go back.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
