The staff at the property were all in to be friendly to all guests. From the night watchman to the housekeeping staff, they always greeted the guests. Those I had frequent contact knew the guests by name and greeted them that way, everytime. Made me feel right at home, even though I am not an owner at the property. There was a maintenance issue with […] the elevators, and the manager placed a well written note on hotel letterhead describing the situation and the plan to get all 3 elevators working as soon as possible. The property felt safe and secure, had a great business trip staying there. Found this hotel for a great rate, and thought ok when I get there it will be just another hotel with nice pictures. But the pictures on the site don't do this place justice. It was a great Hotel, and the Staff are very friendly. You get the feel that you are at a 5 Diamond Resort.

Our air conditioner broke on one of the days at which time we had thought that maybe the hotel had it on timer to save electricity but the next day it never turned back on. Made the room very stuffy. Was able to call the front desk and they did have someone come and fix it promptly. The pillows […] were plenty but small which was annoying. We didn't have a good night sleep because we could hear the pipes and water running when someone used their bathroom. Our toilet kept recycling/running itself. I don't know think I'd stay here again only because I couldn't sleep through the noises of the pipe and toilet. I felt like royalty while staying here. I stayed at Hilton Hawaiian village the first half of my trip, but I wish I would have stayed here the whole time. Everything about this place is marvelous. As we are members of Wyndham Worldmark some things are just expected. 1. The internet did not work the entire time I was there. Was promised to a person on Sunday when I checked in. On Monday, I was told someone was coming to fix it from the mainland. Never did. Even in the media center nothing worked. The registration did, but nowhere else. 2. Laundry […] - over half the machines were not working. Was told the soap and dryer sheets were free, not the case. 3. There was a piece of cellophane on the carpet the whole visit. And it was right in the middle of the walkway. 4. The heat was stuffy - no cross ventalation even though there were windows which could be opened. 5. No microwave in the room - had to ask. Generally friendly and helpful staff. it provides eating utensils and a ref. neighborhood is quiet, far away from the busy section of waikiki. the beach is 5 blocks away, a little bit far. International market is maybe 8 blocks […] away. convention center is less than 10 blocks. still walking distance from all those areas. If you prefer a convenient distance from the beach then this is not the hotel for you. The staff was fabulous. Newly redecorated. Loved the stuido with kitchenette. Didn't have a microwave when we checked in, but one was delivered as soonn as we asked for one. Very clean. We requested & were given a corner room, we could see both the ocean and the canal from the lanei.

I really enjoyed my stay in the hotel. It was very clean and all the employees were very helpful and Aaron is an awesome person that makes you feel very welcomed. Apart from the cleaniness which is my prioryty was the great location the hotel is in. Evrything is walking distance and for my boyfriend and I that enjoy walking was great. The Studios are nothing but a single room with a small area with sink and refrigerator. The room is realy small and there is no space. I was given a queen size bed which was not good for me+wife+3 year old. The staff were all friendly.

Its OK to just tell them nicely you are not interested in their offers. If you are a savvy traveler you don't need to speak with the concierge service, you can help yourself to finding activities on your own with the use of their free internet. Very nice pool area which was full of rowdy crowds one day (labor day weekend) and another day a nice quite family. There was a lot of construction. No ice machines and the desk clerk wanted me to walk 2 blocks to get a little ice for a drink. Expensive meal in the morning for what was offered. Room was clean, but had to keep asking for coffee refills every night when we got back to the room.

The staff were super friendly and helpful, especially Linda at the concierge desk and Aaron and Shane at the front desk. They don't push as you are a paying cutomer. I didn't take them up on any offers. Neighborhood is ten minute walk to beaches ----but that's not a problem for access to the water.
