We were overall satisfied with everything at this hotel. My fiance got there before 2 pm and they arranged to give her a room and didn't make her wait for a couple of hours. They gave us fruits, coffee, tea, water, etc to welcome us which was really nice. The staff were friendly and professional. I felt like home for the 7 days that we stayed there. We chose the hotel largely based on prior reviews and its location near the Mall of the Emirates. Reception staff made us feel welcome when we arrived, but the rest of our stay was disappointing. We would not stay again or recommend the hotel. While spacious, the cleanliness left much to be desired. For example, the couch had food crumbs on it and […] when housekeeping to come clean, the person enthusiastically wiped the crumbs onto the floor! We had him bring a vacuum to get the crumbs from the floor! Also, housekeeping staff smelled very bad to the point that we had to ask one of them to leave in the midst of cleaning because the entire apartment stank from his body odor. The kitchen smelled like overcooked eggs. We were not happy with the level of cleanliness of the bathrooms, or the living room. The only positive was that sheets were crisp and clean. Furniture should have been replaced about 1-2 years ago. Front desk people were nice. However, when we checked in, we found the in-room safe locked and asked for help. Concierge arrived quickly -by himself- and opened the safe in seconds. Seeing that, we decided not to put anything in the safe -it just wasn't...well,...safe to do so! Finally, since hotel was home to many vacationing families, there were small kids running around the corridors at all hours of the day and night, screaming and making all sorts of noise. Read more

The hotel had a good appearance when I got there and people were nice. I did have to sign something saying no alcohol or guests in the room. Kind of weird but no big deal. The room was large and mostly clean. The phone was pretty dirty looking and there were some unplugged electronics on the side of the bed that I don't know what they were for. The […] bathroom was not the cleanest thing I have ever seen but it wasn't horrible overall. My biggest complaint was the shower. There was obvious black mold growing in all four corners. I am not normally one to complain but this was actually scarry to shower in. I called the front desk and they said they would send someone up to fix it. I got back to my hotel later that afternoon and no one had done anything about it. I paid for the hotel for the entire night but was checking out at 10PM. After explaining the issue I would have expected them to work with me on the pricing or do something nice. They did nothing and did not seem to really care. That was extremely frustrating. Read more

I chose the Rose Garden for its proximity to the Mall of the Emirates (in November you can easily walk otherwise it is only one metro station away ). This apartment was very big! Three bathrooms a full kitchen , living room and dinning room. The Apartment is about 4min walking distance to the Emirates mall. This was our family's first visit to Dubai, and we were well pleased with this hotel selection. Our room was a spacious 2-bedroom apartment, including a full kitchen and washer/dryer, that more than met the needs of our 5-person family. It is extremely close to the Sharaf DG metro station and taxis are available right in front of the hotel at all hours, […] so transportation is easy. At the end of a long overseas holiday, we were looking for a place to enjoy a few days to rest on the way home. Having stayed in a number of European 4 star hotels with very small rooms we selected the Rose Garden because of the offering of a larger apartment style. We presumably sacrificed soemthing because of the location some distance from the city. […] We did not find this an issue with a Metro station within 100 metres and an abundance of taxis. The area suffers from external appearances because of the recent economic crisis meaning a large number of v acant blocks or half completed structures nearby. Great hotel for short stays close to Sharaf DG Metro station. Good size suites and staff couldn't be more helpful. Even lent me a laptop when I needed it! Close to Mall of the Emirates and lots of restaurants including Nandos. Only problem was poor reception for Du in the room as it was an inwards facing room.

Loved the hotel/apartment. Really near the Mall of Emirates so very convenient location. Staff were friendly and helpful. Only downside is that they had to change our room twice as the AC wasn't working, however, staff were happy to oblige. I'd stay again.

The room was better than I expected i.e. it's basically an apartment with an added bonus of being a hotel so you will get the rooms cleaned daily etc. There is a gym and swimming pool which are great but they're only open between 9am-9pm. The location is top notch. 5 minute walk to a metro,15 minutes walk to the Mall of Emirates and there are plenty […] of places to get takeaway outside. My only complaints are that they didn't give us new shower gels + shampoo daily and they gym closes earlier than I would have liked. Warm welcome & fast check in. Room upgrade was an added bonus. Initially thought that staying at the front of the hotel on the first floor would be noisy but this was not the case and slept very well in the comfortable bed. Living room furniture a little tired. We did request a non smoking room but there was an ashtray on the coffee table which had […] a huge scorch mark on and a cigarette burn on the sofa. The kitchen was well equipped but the unit fronts could have done with a good wipe over however, as we were using the hotel as a base and the bedroom and bathroom were spotless this did not really cause any inconvenience. I arrived early, a glass of Mango jc was given to me and they prepared a room in 20mins without prior advice I wd be early, and never charged extra time. You do not pay for local phone calls when you check out (other places charge you). Every eveng returned to room, dishes were done and bed remade! It was beautiful service and the place is so clean! […] Walk out of the elevator and the hallways smell fresh! The bed was superbly clean and very comfortable and huge! There was a full size kitchen which was fully equipped even a washg machine. Free newspaper each day. Staff always cheerful, everything was done you never had to ask. Upkeep on this place is very good. Location great, Sharaf DG metro is just around the corner! 10mins walk to Mall of Emirates. We go to this hotel twice a year. It is a short walk to the Mall of the emirates shopping mall which we went to every evening. We stay in a two bedroom apartment which is quite big. The kitchen has a dishwasher, washer/dyer, cutlery, plates, microwave just like being at home. The apartment had two bathrooms and another separate toilet. The rooms were […] cleaned daily. The hotel allowed us use of the health club facilities to shower/freshen up when we arrived early, providing all necessary towels, toiletries and etc. The staff were excellently presented and all spoke good English. The rooms were well furnished with all amenities and generally very clean, being efficiently services whenever requested. The WiFi was a little flaky to setup and only accessible in one of the rooms but nonetheless quite useable once correctly configured.
