Overall the hotel was good but the bed was to close to the wall and made access hard. In addition, I sleep with a C-pap machine and had to improvise by using a waste can turned upside down to set machine on.

This was my first time staying at Candlewood Suites and I was not sure what to expect. I ended up being very pleased. The front desk staff was very friendly, the hotel was very clean, and the location put us close to everything we wanted to do. My only complaint was that the pictures I saw did not match the room and there was no divider in the room […] so the kids were always underfoot. I don't think this room was truly a suite without the divider, but it was a REALLY nice room with a microwave, fridge, ice maker, and a convenient little store downstairs. They charged a $75 non refundable pet fee, which was news to us upon arrival. We booked this hotel because they accepted pets, but we were not aware of the pet fee, in addition to the room cost. Baddddddddd!!!!!!!!!

Reserved room thru Expedia and found that it was just what we needed for the Alabama vs Auburn game. The staff was friendly and the room was clean. Will look at staying again sometime.

We visited for an Alabama football game weekend. I think the prices charged are outrageous but the whole town gets away with over charging for the rooms. Our room was across the hall from the front desk and lobby. It was a bit loud until late at night and noise started very early in the morning. I think the set up of the suite could have been better. […] The bed was so close to the wall that it was very difficult to get in and out of the bed from one side. The staff here is terrific !! I have stayed here at least 4 times in the passed year. Rooms are always clean and the staff is always welcoming. It is a very nice choice when visiting the Tuscaloosa area. Stove, Microwave, and Refrigerator makes it even more convenient for longer stays.

The hotel was very clean and everyone was friendly. We stayed in the room right beside the front doors and was woken up frequently by the talking and traffic coming in and out.

The ONLY negative I can think of is the fact that I could clearly hear my upstairs neighbor walking back and forth late at night and very early in the morning.

I loved this hotel, my room was like a studio apartment. The room was very quiet and comfortable. Very convenient to restaurants and the stadium. Will stay here everytime I visit.

We traveled to Tuscaloosa for a weekend with our daughter who was in a softball tournament. This was one of the nicest hotels we have stayed in in our travels and because it was a suite, it had plenty of room for all of us. I will stay here again when in Tuscaloosa and will look for other Candlewood Suites when traveling to other cities.
