It was great for our purpose. Club basketball tournaments. If it were a leisure trip I would have to choose a hotel with a bit larger rooms and bathrooms.

Location.
Situated in Frisco, Aloft Frisco is in the business district and close to Dr Pepper Ballpark and Stonebriar Centre Mall. Additional area attractions include Pizza Hut Park and Hawaiian Falls The Colony.
Hotel Features.
Aloft Frisco has an outdoor pool and a fitness facility. Complimentary wireless and wired high-speed Internet access is available in public areas. Business amenities at this 3-star property include a business center, a meeting/conference room, and a technology helpdesk. This business-friendly hotel offers a bar/lounge and a snack bar/deli. "Close to shopping and ballpark"
It was very clean and the energy was flowing. One of the things that stood out to me is that the hotel smelled GREAT and the Bliss Spa products in the room were an added bonus!! I also loved the music playing throughout the lobby and elevator. Great location, within walking distance to great shopping and the Dr. Pepper Ballpark.

"Comfortable beds"
We were especially impressed with the cleanliness and nice smell. The beds were very comfortable and I personally really liked the step-in shower.

I've stayed at this location half a dozen times and it's always been great. Make sure you're not near the elevator or on the first floor past the double doors (you'll know what I'm talking about if you get a room there) those locations tend to be a little noisy. The rest of the hotel is great.

I stay at this Hotel often. It is surrounded by great shopping, dining & entertainment. The staff is always extremely accommodating and the facilities are always clean. If you are looking for a place outside of the Center of Dallas you have found it.

"Awesome Hotel"
My husband and I are about to have our first child and wanted a last minute getaway for Valentines Day. We had to stay local since we are so close to our due date. We had a bed n breakfast in mind but when researching Hotels.com we found nice, urban hotels for cheaper prices. "Aloft Frisco was not a good experience"
Staff was not friendly. The room smelled like smoke, despite the fact that it's a non-smoking hotel. AND it took them 30 minutes to "find" our reservation even though we had the confirmation number. Overall, not a good experience.

Too much on the trendy - ultra contemporary side, which leaves a lot to be desired on the comfortable and 'warm feeling' side. I would not stay in another in this line of hotels.

"Never Again!"
We stayed a total of two nights ( going and coming) from our Xmas trip. If I could have gotten a refund I would never have stayed here on the way home, but since it was already paid for and could not be refunded we stayed the second night. This was in the top five of the worst hotel stays I have ever had. The bed felt like a sack of potatoes and the […] pillow was very small and felt like it had chunks of torn apart foam in it. We were on the bottom floor and for some reason they have doors at the end of the hallway. All night long the door slammed as people went in and out. The shower has a water saver head that sprays a fine mist of water and it is near imposable to get the soap out of your hair. The shower doors are glass and have a big gap in them, water ends up all over the floor. One of the shower walls goes into the bedroom and is glass, so anyone in the room can watch you as you shower (it is opaque not clear). On the way home we stayed on the top floor, everything was the same except we did not have to put up with the slamming door. Read more

"Great Value for a really nice room"
We were right in the middle of the fun in frisco, a few nice bars and some good shopping. Close to the ball park and convention center. The room is stylish and well organized.

Our hotel stay was wonderful and convenient. Restaurants and shopping areas were close by and some within walking distance. Soccer fields that we needed to get too in the area were easily accessible. Overall, I felt safe and relaxed having my family stay at the Aloft. The staff were approachable and friendly, we will definately return.

"No Fart Fan in Bathroom ? ? ?"
There wasn't an exhaust fan in the bathroom and the water temperature in shower doesn't get above "Warm Enough"... meaning the water won't adjust to "Hot". It wasn't Cold but it wasn't Hot either. Oh... and there is only a shower and No bathtub.

The place was great. The only problem was when we checked in they gave us a double room rather than king size bed, which was our original reservation. Will definitely stay there again!

Contemporary style hotel. Nice room, a little small for 2 adults working but otherwise fine. We live in the area and had to spend a night away from home due to contractors work, and this worked well. We did not use the bar/restaurant areas, but there is an awesome Greek restaurant nearby we highly recommend called Platia Greek Kouzina.

I love this hotel! The scent that fills the atmosphere is relaxing. The rooms are comfortable. The pillows are small for some but just the way I like them. I do wish there were ice machines on the floor and that the food in the self serve area were less expensive ($2 for a banana!) but the other parts of the hotel outweigh these inconveniences. "Booking"
Only down side to booking online is that when I reserved for a room with 2 queen beds with a confirmation, they gave us 1 king bed. We reserved for 3 guests.

Funky and Unconventional - BUT A VERY NICE EXPERIENCE! BAR IN LOBBY WAS ENJOYABLE & GOOD DRINKS & SNACKS. 42" TV FRONT & CENTER TO COMFY BED WAS ALSO ENJOYABLE FOR MOVIE WATCHING. WE'LL RETURN!
