We only spent one night, but were satisfied with room and cleanliness. Only issue was that room door did not lock. We discovered it upon leaving in the am and notified management.

Have stayed here numerous times and it was great. This stay, my room was a lot smaller than the others. It was dingy, bad lighting, cigarette burns in floor, and the lamp shades were broken. Not happy this time.

THE HOTEL WAS RIGHT OFF THE GS EXIT 40, AS SOON AS YOU TURN RIGHT, BAM YOU'RE THERE. THAT WAS A PLUS. THE HOTEL LOBBY, BREAKFAST ROOM, AND HOTEL ROOM EMACULATE. tHE JACUZZI IN THE ROOM CLEAN AND WORKED GREAT. THE COMPLIMENTARY BREAKFAST, HAD A WIDE SELECTION...GOOD JOB! NOW, THIS IS WHAT NEEDS TO BE IMPROVED...IF A ROOM OFFERS A SMALL KITCHEN...i WOULDN'T […] THINK TO BRING...A CAN OPENER, CORK-SCREW, SMALL KNIFE, CUTTING BOARD AND MAYBE A COUPLE OF BOWLS. THOSE SIMPLE ITEMS WOULD HAVE BEEN VERY HELPFUL. TOWELS ARE ROUGH, !!! POOL AND WHIRLPOOL WERE FILTHY...THERE WAS SLIME IN THE BOTTOM OF THE WHIRLPOOL, YUK AND TO THINK KIDS WERE PLAYING IN THAT WATER, EEU. GYM CONSIST OF TWO THREADMILLS, THE BIKE WAS OUT OF ORDER. It was a great location for the event. The area was only so-so, but that is out of your hands. The hotel was clean and comfortable. I would stay there again and would definitely add your chain to my list of hotels for business or leisure travel.

Very nice hotel. The off-season rate was very good. The hotel was clean and bright and even offered a hot breakfast buffet for free. There were also coffee and cookies in the lobby 24/7 so there was no need to use the little coffee pot in the room.

On May 11, 2013, I checked-in at approximately 3:10 pm, received door cards for room 318. Entering the room, there was an unbearable smell. I opened the window and sprayed perfume. Then, I went in the bathroom to use the jetted bathtub; however, the tub stopper was broke, the tub water faucet handle did not turn, and the jetted bathtub did not work. […] (My expectations when I reserved the room was that a whirlpool tub was in the room (as shown in the third picture in the room advertisement on the webpage) and the jetted bathtub was in the bathroom. In the space for special accommodations, I asked that someone verify that the whirlpool tub was operable when I arrive). I called the front desk an hour before leaving for the concert to report the issues. The man at the front desk advised me that he could not come now, he was alone, busy checking in other guests in. He said that he would come up when he finished. Was I a quest? Or had my status changed after handing him my credit card, for a deposit in the event I destroyed the room? When I left the hotel for the concert, I stopped at the desk, advised him we were leaving, reminded him of the issues. He had no guests. When we returned after midnight, the issues weren’t resolved. Customer service improvement needed, staff needed, room freshness and operable advertised amenities, urgency for guest when issues arise. Read more

Overall we enjoyed our stay very much, the staff was very friendly and helpful. We booked there because it had a pool, and the condition we found the pool in was not satisifying. We found sand in the bottom of the pool, I don't believe it had been vaccumed. First room bedding had cigaret burns on them, called front desk and I was told they do not have an extra room for us to change. So I asked for a new bedding, they guy sad yes he'll have some bring it up. I have stayed in a number of Country Inn & Suites, for the most part in the South East. When I was searching for a hotel outside of Atlantic Beach, and found this chain, I did not hesitate to select. I did so based on my previous experience. When I arrive for this trip, it took several minutes for a clerk to show up and check me in. The following morning, […] I came down for a quick breakfast at 8am. There was not hot food available, only empty bins, no juice or coffee. I did not see an attendant in the room, or at the desk. So, I left and went on to my appointment for the day. I would receive the same service on day two. If I had to guess, the hotel is owned (managed) by a foreign person who has no idea what Customer Service levels are. They were under staffed, little if any sense of urgency, otherwise not engaged in providing a suitable product. I will move back to my Hilton Honors program and spend more money on my next trip. Ok, I am not one to rave about hotels, but this one is pretty awesome. The tub/shower in this hotel is amazing. Seriously worth the experience. The beds were fab, pillows were fluffy, and the linens were clean. The staff was super friendly, but we didn't really need anything. Also, the pool and jacuzzi was clean, nicely kept and kept our kids happy […] for hours. One of our rooms smelled like smoke BUT we didnt make a fuss over it, it wasn't THAT big of a deal. Breakfast was great, clean breakfast area, and clean enough that I felt good about going in my socks. Overall, We were really impressed with the hotel. For the money, you cannot beat it. Read more

First off, I accidentally booked the wrong room (2 queens w/kitchenette). When I called the front desk to inquire about the availability of a King with a Jacuzzi the gentleman was extremely nice and made the accommodation. The font desk area is great with the fireplace and there is a coffee station with cookies all day long. The room was immaculate […] and the bedding (most important part of an overnight stay) was very comfortable. Large two person combination shower/Jacuzzi tub was great with plenty of hot water. basic refrigerator/microwave and sink and flat screen television. Free breakfast was very good and more than enough to start your day. Only negative issue was the wi-fi can be a little wiggy, but I was able to use it and am writing this review sitting in my room. Staff was helpful and friendly. Very nice, big, newly renovated room. Only prob was the jaccuzzi didn't work. I didn't call it to mgmnt attention because we were leaving soon anyway, but I'm sure they would have taken care of it. Best free breakfast of any chain I've stayed, and I've stayed at a bunch.
