The Holiday Inn was really clean, friendly staff and a very nice standard double queen bedroom. Bathroom had an amazing rainhead shower and the towels were sooo soft! A+ on this stay. Location was great cause it was next to WalMart!

My stay at this hotel was a bit disappointing. When I checked-in at the front desk I was greeted with lack-luster attitude. Once I arrived in my room, I found mold in the shower and the bed sheets smelled of bleach! Lastly, I tried several times to get a wake up call, but nobody would answer the phone. The hotel front desk staff was very rude! I had the confirmation paper in my hand and she told me that I did not have a reservation, and I said yes I do thats why I have this confirmation letter from your office. She preceded to tell me that every hotel in Pueblo was sold out because of the Fair, I said I knew that and I had one of those rooms, it took […] an hour for her to find my reservation! When she finally found it she didnt apologize for the mixup or anything , Then she tried to charge more on the credit card and i said no I booked it at this price and she said well we raised the prices because of the fair, and I said I booked it at this price and I need it to be this price, she said prices change everyda. I get that but if I book it at one price I dont want to be charged a higher price when I get there. We always try to stay with your Hotel Chain because we have always been treated with courtesousy but this time was extremely different, we will never stay at this particular Holiday Inn ever again! This was the 4th Holiday Inn Express we stayed in on this particular road trip and it was the second best overall. (Amarillo-West was the best by far) Good: Pretty nice overall inside, the rooms were nice and pretty clean. We were able to arrive around 7pm, and checked right in. Parking was limited for our truck and uhaul trailer, but we used the dirt lot near the hotel without a problem. The location was easy on and off I-25. I would stay again!

I've stayed in 5 star hotels across the US and Europe this hotel was not a 5 star; however for the price I paid the suite we received was excellent. The hotel was extremely comfortable; the dual 45 inch (est) tv's were great and the icing on the cake was the very comfortable bed. I booked the room for my husband to stay because he was working long hours in Pueblo. The room itself was comfortable and quiet and he had no problems getting right to sleep. Check-in was another issue, the night attendant seemed to have been partying and made a mistake, double charging me for the room. When I noticed the problem, a simple call to the […] hotel manager made it better; she was pleasant, apologetic and accomodating. The hotel's location, however, leaves a bit to be desired. It is sort of near a movie theatre, the only resaurant within walking distance is a Texas Roadhouse, and it's situated in kind of a strangely developed area. Read more

I was very satisfied with everything about the room, except for the small pillows. The staff was friendly and helpful. The breakfast was very solid for a free breakfast. The backside of the hotel was a bit close to the railroad tracks and that woke me up on one of the nights. Overall though, it was a great stay.

The hotel inself was very clean. However, my room had not been vacuumed. There was a contact lens on the floor and bits of paper. Overall, the beds were comfortable and the hotel staff was wonderful. The morning breakfast was very nice and the women in charge of the buffet was pleasant and came around to talk to everyone. Great customer service.

The staff was great. The room was clean. The "suite" was not a suite. It had two TV's and a door between the front and back but the couch that made into a bed was very uncomfortable. I consider a suite as two rooms with a bed in each. For what we paid we should have at least had breakfast. We did eat breakfast in the "restaurant" - it was not good, […] not good at all. I don't make a habit of arriving early to a hotel to try to check in. Unfortunately we had an early flight and we got to the hotel around noon (check in is 3pm). When I asked the desk clerk if there was a chance to get our room she checked on it. It hadn't been cleaned yet. She explained they had been full the night before but if we could come back […] in one hour she could accommodate us. Fine, no problem. My daughter(7 years old) and I went to lunch and came back at !:30 pm. A new clerk was at the desk. She flatly stated we couldn't check in. She actually said the previous guest hadn't checked out of our room yet although check out was posted as 11:00. When I called her on it she back tracked and said the maid hadn't got to it yet. She said we could wait in the lobby. Great! We'd been up since 4am. I think good customer service would dictate allowing us to get in a room. However we and all our luggage waited on a couch in the lobby. We finally got our key at 2:50pm. Once upstairs I showered and put our things away. When I went to lie down I noticed a stain on the comforter through to the sheets-they hadn't even changed the bed-gross! After deliberating for an hour or so they had us move to a room next door that was probably clean the entire time. I was so frustrated, if I hadn't prepaid for 4 nights I would have left. The rest of the stay was uneventful but the way we were treated left a bad taste. I would never stay here again. Customer service lacking!!! Read more

At some hotels continental breakfast is served. I could only find coffee in the lobby (which I also had in my room) so I had to use the restaurant which took longer. I was disappointed.

The staff is unfriendly and can't seem to make a decision. I asked about making my check out 30 minuts later and thhey couldn't tell me if it was ok until the morning of! I was told it was up to the cleaning service. I said to forget it. The bathroom had hair all over. It was gross. Then I had to call back to see if I hd left my phone behind and the […] girl on the phone sighed a lot an told me she was busy and would call me back. Two days later, still no reply. I aske to speak to a manager and was told there were none on staff for two days!
