James Manor - Pigeon Forge

Everything was great, service was excellent, Breakfast was good. Just a good place to stay. Especially at such a good deal. My only complaint, was that the heated indoor pool was very very cool. otherwise a great stay.

I really enjoyed our stay. The hotel is right next to the comedy barn which was our first stop as a family. The indoor pool was great except the pool is not heated the spa pool is. The pool appears to be bigger than it really is but overall it was great time. The kids play in the pool for so long then got in the spa to warm up. Being that my husband is wheelchair bound, we needed handicap accessibility and a roll-in shower. Unfortunately, this room on the first floor had probably been overexposed to water and had a mildew smell. Also, the room was manageable in the electric wheelchair, but would have been very tight in a wider manual wheelchair or scooter. One of the beds […] had an annoying squeak to it. Staff could make you feel a little more welcomed but overall it's a very good hotel for the price. The person that checked us in was very nice and helpful. The only reason I did not give this hotel a 5 rating is because of the security light outside on the balcony that shines in the room. I had to take a blanket and wrap it around the balcony door to block the light. Room was big and comfortable. Staff was very friendly. Very impressed with the staff. Pool had too much chlorine but it was still a nice […] little pool area. Just need to go easier on the chlorine. Breakfast was so / so. We only live a few hours away and come to Dollywood several times a year. This was our first time at JM Hotel. We found it to be as good as the more expensive hotels. clean, friendly staff, nice pool. Breakfast is ok, but could use a few meat or egg items.

the guy at the front desk was very rude and smart. our refrigerator in our room was froze up. this guy came up and looked at it and said he couldn't do anything about it. I ask him what we suppose to do. He said go get the motel people to buy us a new one. Then he walked out. Will we stay their again? PROBABLY NOT.

Our hotel room was very, very clean. Comfortable beds and great shower too. Excellent staff on evenings and nights. Day shift working the front desk could use some "nice" lessons. - rather rude and not very pleasant to customers.

We enjoyed our stay at James Manor, we will stay again... The price was right and we could walk to everything! My 8 year old loved the pool and and my husband and I enjoyed the private balcony overlooking Pigeon Forge. The hallways were quiet at night and staff was friendly!

I was skeptical about booking online, but after reading the reviews I decided to go with James Manor and was very pleased. The place was very clean, soft comfortable beds, nice up to date furniture, very roomy. 2 beds plus sofa and coffee table. We had a balcony which was nice except we didn't have the private balcony, we had the divided balcony. But […] it was still pleasant. The bathroom is a little small but it served it's purpose. Great location next door to Lumberjack Feud and go carts, (couldn't even hear them with the balcony door closed) Nice indoor and outdoor pool. All rooms are non-smoking but you can smoke outside the building. We will be staying at James Manor on our next visit. One of the last few remaining American owned hotels in Pigeon Forge! Read more

Family and I stayed here this past weekend 7/29- 8/1. First 2 nights where ok but the last night we stayed in Pigeon Forge it had stormed there water came in thru the top of the window and was all over the window sill and carpets the window was right above the air conditioner. I told management all I was given was a few towels too clean it up myself. […] They didnt even offer too put us in another room which would have been ok.Told them the morning we checked out the response was maintenance would look at it I was not offered a gredit or refund.They didnt seem too carry about their guests safety or anything. Clean, older hotel in the heart of Pigeon Forge, Tennnessee. Nice spacious room with older furnishings. Bathroom was small but clean. Room was large enough for four people but furniture was sparse, with only two beds, one chest of drawers, one bedside table and a flat table to lay your suitcase on. No TV stand or armoire (sp) it sat on the chest of […] drawers. Room was big enough to accommodate a table and chairs but none was provided. Microwave and a dorm refrigerator were in the room but you had to eat on your bed. Hotel was near Dollywood and most of the attractions in Pigeon Forge, with the Lumber Jack Feud next door and the Comedy Barn in the same block. We were happy with the cleanliness, size, and condition of our room. It was located on the main strip and surrounded by things to do for adults and for small children.....well, children of all ages. Restaurants were abundant in the area. The hotel breakfast was nicer than other hotels we've stayed at, with a good variety: Hot Waffles, Cereal, Bisquits […] and Gravy, Oatmeal, Fruit and Juice.....Nice!!
