This is a nice place to stay but does not have daily maid service. In addition, our room had a "Murphy Bed" which isn't necessarily bad -- just different and unexpected. Location is great if you want to be right downtown within wallking distance of shops and restaurants.

The a/c was out during our stay and the staff did not tell us during check in. They offered a fan after we called the front desk. The bed was a hide a bed in the wall and a brick might've been softer. The staff was nice but not helpful and for the money a better room could be had.

The room was clean, but the bed was uncomfortable and they did not provide shampoo or conditioner. Also, they did not clean the room every day of our stay. Otherwise, it is a beautiful building and everyone was very friendly.

We stayed two nights. There was a festival in town during our stay. We woke up the am we were to leave and someone had let the air out of all our tires! Now, this is also a Sunday morning, in a small town. Luckily, Joe on the desk called to see where we could find new tires if needed, and John, a mgr. got a compressor, pulled the tires off the car, […] checked them for leaks, put them back on the car and filled with air! If you reserve through Expedia, be aware they may title the hotel " Resort in Taos." that is WRONG. the Hotel is " Worldmark by wyndham" the sign is at the entrance to the Taos Museum. the property is at the back of the Museum which i think was the artist Nicolai Fechin home. Please note that the name of this resort is WorldMark by Wyndam. We had a very frustrating experience trying to find the place, as the actual name of the resort was not on our confirmation. It was just called "Resort in Taos." The address was incorrect and the phone contact # was in another state. The condo unit itself was very comfortable! First time to Taos and loved it. The hotel is in a great location. Quick walk to restaurants and shopping. Also located between Taos ski valley and angle fire ski resort. Resort staff is very friendly and helpful. Very clean and comfortable. We had a one bedroom suite and it was perfect for 2 adults and 2 teens. We really enjoyed the amenities and in-house activities, i.e. pool, family room, hot tub, free laundry. The only thing we weren't crazy about was the Murphy bed, which is not the most comfortable way to sleep.
