"good value for the price"Reviewed by a Hotels.com guest on May 4, 2012
Very friendly and helpful hotel staff. Enjoyable breakfast for the most part. Good location for walking and close to subways if needed. I would stay there again if I return to Buenos Aries.
"Within walking distance of all the must-see sights"Reviewed by a Hotels.com guest on May 4, 2012
The hotel is lovely, with unique frescoes and paintings in all the rooms and an unusual layout due to its conversion to a hotel from a conventillo. The staff were exceptionally helpful with regard to advice about attractions and organizing taxis/bus trips for us - as well as finding an adaptor so we could use our computer. San Telmo is a good base for exploring, although a little run-down, but the hotel itself made up for the defects of the environment! And it's definitely fun (if somewhat daunting) to take a tango class at the hotel.

Buenos Aires’ largest neighborhood was once home to Jorge Luis Borges and Che Guevara. Today, it is where the well heeled shop and socialize—one part is nicknamed Palermo Hollywood. Palermo exudes European charm with its palatial homes, cobblestone streets, and well-manicured parks. Plaza Italia, the botanical gardens, and zoo are among its highlights. Jorge Newbery regional airport is nearby.

Great little hotel with excellent service. The front desk staff provides first rate concierge services. Top of the line amenities in a very comfortable room. The hotel doesn't have a restaurant, but provides nice breakfast and delivery service from many area restaurants. Within walking distance to many of Palermo's great little restaurants. I stayed […] on business and found the room and hotel very comfortable and practical. Read more
"Great hotel, great service, greal location!"
This is an adorable little boutique hotel in Palermo Soho in BA. The area is really nice (and safe) with many boutique shops, street fairs (weekends), a variety of restaurants, and a good nightlife. It is not quite "central" to the tourist sites, but getting around BA via subway or taxi is easy and not expensive. The staff is amazing, very personable […] and accommodating. They also have a nice breakfast spread and free wi-fi. I would definitely stay here again, and recommend it to others. Read more
"Two nights at the Glu Hotel"
The front desk staff are excellent, particularly Joanna, and they make you feel very welcomed and wanted. Pleasant surrounds, safe and quiet.
"Fabulous service, confort, style, and location!!"
The Glu is a gorgeous, modern, extremely comfortable and stylish hotel in a hip barrio of Buenos Aires called Palermo Soho. I was greeted by name by the helpful staff who were always ready with a restaurant or tour recommendation, and a cold bottle of water or the best coffee in Buenos Aires. I loved my visit and felt more like a houseguest than a […] customer. Read more
"The Glu Hotel--Buenos Aires (Palermo Soho)"
Extraordinary experience--we enjoyed world class service at a sleek, modern, and stylish boutique hotel. Warm, exceptional staff. Among the best run hotels we've ever encountered.
"GLU Hotel Palmero SOHO Beunos Aries"
Great Staff-biLingual and helped immensely with tour and travel arrangements. Hot Tub on top floor was a negative---no towels as promised, cold water (in a hot tub??), and pump did not work--they should not advertise this as an option based upon what we experienced (and this was a major part of our decision making). Also, be sure to turn on your hot […] water 10 minutes in advance to taking a shower (we hate wasting water like this) but we do not like cold showers. My wife loved the Glu, but I think + there are many hotels with better rates and in better locations that this. Do some research!! Read more

"Great experience"
While the location is on the up and up (there were several construction sites surrounding the hotel), it was mere blocks away from great boutique shopping and a very trendy area with lots of cafes and design/furniture stores. The hotel was clean, new and very sleek and unfussy. The staff was GREAT! They were always available to give suggestions, offer […] directions, call a taxi or serve drinks. Read more

"loved it"
loved it! great in-between high and low ranges hotel for Buenos Aires, and really nice and helpful people workign there.
"The Glu - Wonderful Experience!"
My wife and I have done a fair bit of traveling and have stayed in many hotels. This was our best experience of all time. We were looking for a nice relaxing stay in a luxury boutique hotel and this was exactly that. The facility itself was great - clean and well designed. The room was large, with a balcony and modern bathroom. The thing that really […] stands out, however, was the staff. All of the concierges spoke fluent English and were very sincere and helpful. I can't even count the number of times they did the kind of small, helpful things that really made our stay pleasant. When we made the reservations, we didn't know much about Buenos Aires and Palermo, but just wanted a nice relaxing vacation. We had a wonderful time and the Glu was a huge part of that. Very highly recommended! Read more
"Hotel The Glu em Palermo Soho,Buenos Aires"
Acabei de violtar de um fim de semana prolongado em Buenos Aires. Nunca tinha ficado em Palermo e resolvemos escolher um hotel boutique desta vez. O The Glu é simplesmente maravilhoso. Read more
"Great place"
Excellently located in the nicest part of Palermo, very professional, informative, super kind and caring staff. Negative? Poor breakfast and unfortunately no real terrace for getting some sun.
