We absolutely enjoyed our stay, the staff were very helpful and friendly. Our room was very clean and just plain nice. we will definitely stay there again. breakfast was ok but no real complaints.

within a mile from airport but quiet. can't hear planes. very clean. excellent continental breakfast. mall and other shopping within 3 miles. firm mattress. slept well. will stay there again when in Des Moines area

I was surprised at how quiet it was being so close to the airport and the hotel seemed fairly full, but we heard very little noise. This hotel was right next to "Johnny's Steakhouse". The hotel was very clean and the room was well kept. The breakfast buffet was just average to be honest, but for the price it was sufficient. I was taking one of my daughters on college visits, and this hotel was only 10 minutes away from Drake and 45 minutes away from Iowa State University, so the location was ideal for us.

Rooms were very clean. Too much noise from unruly children running in the hallway, slamming doors, and shaking the vending machines! Other than that our stay was comfortable. Rates were a bit high, because it was a Saturday night, perhaps?

I was extremely happy with the place. I'm very picky, and I inspect every hotel room I stay at. My room was very clean, had no smoky or moldy smells, and was very nicely decorated. I'm not sure how new the hotel is, but it looks very new. I will definitely stay there again.

Hotel was very clean and updated. We arrived about 11:00 p.m. and no one was at the front desk and there wasn't a bell or any means to find someone. We waited for at least 10 minutes before a gentleman showed up. The only problem with our room was the TV sound cut out often and probably needs replaced.

newer hotel located right next to the airport. surrounding area is pretty sparsely populated, but if you just need a hotel at a good value, with a pretty good free breakfast and decent lobby with nice chairs and tables, flat screen TV and nice office nook with computers, printer, etc., and a decent although small fitness room, this is it.

The hotel staff were very friendly from check-in to check-out. The room and the breakfast areas were clean and nicely decorated. Tthe bathroom was very spacious. Breadfast had a wide variety of fresh food. We would definitely stay here again.

This is 2 minutes from the Des Moines Airport, and 1 minute from the Freeway System. Very large room, with very large bathroom. Friendly staff. Very nice for a single female traveler. This is now the only hotel where I would stay on trips to Des Moines.

A great place to stay with a friendly staff. The rates are great considering the quality. The only downside is the hotel is under the airport's approach path for runway 31. For the most part this isn't an issue, but if the winds are out of the north west you might hear a couple of airplanes.
