I thoroughly enjoyed my stay at the Hotel Pedrini. The staff worked very hard and the breakfasts were excellent. This is not a "deluxe" hotel, but it was more than adequate, and the walk down Strada Maggiore to the historic center took only 15 minute and was quite scenic.

I stayed here for 8 nights. It's a small hotel surrounded by the neighborhood, so it's not the quietest in the world, I could hear the neighbors having dinner, talking on the phone, etc., but I was on that side of the hotel, and that's part of Italian city living. My friend had a street-facing room and said that it was so quiet because of double-glazed […] windows, she couldn't believe it. I had a terrace attached to my room (Rm. 111) and loved it. The lighting was not your standard hotel lighting; it had bright overhead lighting and plenty of bed-side and table lamps. It has been very recently renovated and is quite nice and functional. It's just inside the city wall, and about a 10 minute walk to Piazza Maggiore. The staff gave great recommendations for eating out, they were super helpful with everything and very friendly. The breakfast was standard Italian, fresh croissants (ranging from cream filled to whole grain and no salt/sugar added, nice touch), yogurt and cold hams and cheese. Very reliable and fast (I thought) Internet in the room. I would HIGHLY recommend. And, I paid less than my other colleagues by booking thorugh Expedia (and in dollars). And this hotel is also cheaper than many other comparables. Read more

Having stayed in quite a few hotels around Italy, I can honestly say that this hotel is great value for money. The fact that most of the staff there really don't speak much english may be a problem for some who need to talk a lot and ask lots of questions.. But if you are happy to just check in and get by with the basics then you will be fine here. […] Knowing a little Italian goes a long way in Italy and definitely helped here. Neat & tidy hotel which is within walking distance of the main attractions but far enough of way from the main busy areas. Fabulous value for money. For me I liked the fact that it was a little off the main tourist zone, though still within the wall of the old city - about a 10 minutes walk to Piazza Maggiore. A perfect base with very helpful staff.

I spent a week in a double room with my daughter at Hotel Pedrini - where everything was expected of a hotel of this type - the breakfast waitress was a little unfriendly and unhelpful at first but she improved with time. The traffic seems to penetrate the double glazing and the floors being of marble/clay means you hear every footfall and chair scrape. […] My daughter needed to stay a few more days and was moved to a room on a floor above with an outside bathroom where unfortunately she was disturbed by an all night in the room next door one night. Where to start! No English spoken, not usually a problem unless there is a problem with the hotel. And there was. This is most definitely not what I would call 3 star. It just lloked like the owners couldn't be bothered. The hotel was quiet at night which is always a bonus. However, we had to share 2 toilets with the rest of the 3rd floor. This is not wnat I had booked as hotels where bathrooms were shared stated this on their website, so I took it that Hotel Pedrini was not one of them. Every morning, without fail, there was a problem. The toilet flush was out of order, toilets blocked up, flush chain ripped off the cistern and someone used the bidet for anything but the correct purpose one morning. Lovely sight first thing in the morning - It was stomach churning!! When we complained it was all taken as a matter of course, fixed and then back to square one the next day. They kept fobbing us off when we saked for a room with a toilet, which we knew was possible on the 1st floor. I also had the lovely experience of a guest bursting in the toilet door, busting the lock and standing in the middle of the bathroom while I sat on the throne. He didn't seem to understand that a locked door meant the bathroom was occupied!!! Breakfast was very poor by Italian standards but then the morning experience was never good due to upstairs toilet issues. We did finally get a room with our own toilet for the last night. At that stage it didn't matter much. We didn't allow the hotel experience to ruin our stay though as it was very well situated so we could navigate the city easily everyday. After reading some reviews on tripadvisor I was expecting some horror stories. However i was very pleasantly suprised. The check in went well fast, the hotel staff were great and accomodating. One receiptionist spoke a little english, one didnt but with basic italian we communicated well. The room was clean and i asked for a terrace which i got. The old dated reviews were misleading as they were not complimentary. Pedrini is a good clean, well run, reasonably presented hotel within walking distance of Bologna centre and its attractions. Decent breakfast and courteous service. Traffic noise does start a bit early but so what; it is a city centre not a rural village. I'd go again.

For 1 stjernens hotell er det veldig fin hotell. Det beligger i historisk strøk (på grense), i noen meter finnes matbutikk Coop, fra rom utgang til felles terrasse, hyggelig staff, på frokost lager man etter ønske kaffelatte og capuccino uten ekstra betaling. Jeg anbefaler til alle som ville ha veldig billig og godt opphold dette hotellet.

La stanza era comoda e pulita, l'albergo tranquillo ottimo per lavorare. Wifi gratuito. Nonostante sia classificato con una sola stella è un buon albergo a due passi dal centro. Adatto alle famiglie, volendo a due passi c'è anche un cinema. Ne vale la pena.

Hotel très sympatique. On a eu une chambre avec un superbe plafond, exactement comme sur la photo. La chambre était très propre et comfortable. L'hotel est situé au centre ville avec en plus possibilité de se garer dans le parking de l'hotel (payant, 20 la journée).

Nachdem ich einige Bewertungen zu dem Hotel gelesen habe und nun selbst Erfahrungen mit dem Hotel gemacht habe, kann ich sagen, dass ich positiv überrascht bin. Ich hatte ein Einzelzimmer im 4 Stockwerk. Die nötige und gängige Ausstattung, wie Kühlschrank, Schrank, Spiegel, Föhn und Klimaanlage, war alles gegeben, ich habe nichts vermisst. Das Zimmer […] hatte ebenso ein Bad integriert. Das Zimmer war während des gesamten Aufenthalts von 4 Tagen stets sauber und ich habe mich darin sicher gefühlt. Zum Frühstück kann ich sagen, dass es gewiss kein 5 Sterne Frühstück war, sondern nur das nötigste wie kleine Brötchen, verschiedene Sorten Croissants und Toast sowie Marmelade, Nutella und ital. Wurst und Käse. Hinzu kam eine Auswahl an Cornflakes und Joghurt. Getränke waren Wasser und diverse Säfte sowie direkt zubereitete Kaffeegetränke von der Bar. Insgesamt war ich mit dem Hotel an sich sehr zufrieden. Das einzige, was vielleicht nicht komfortabel ist, ist die Lage des Hotels. Da ich mir für die kurze Zeit nicht die Busverbindungen in Bologna aneignen wollte und lieber zu Fuß unterwegs bin, bin ich für meine Tagesausflüge immer zu Fuß an den Hauptbahnhof gelaufen. Das waren etwa 20, 25 Minuten. Für mich stellte das kein Problem dar und deswegen kann ich jedem das Hotel weiterempfehlen! Read more

Sehr freundliches,hilfsbereites, kompetentes Hotelpersonal bei dem man mit allen Wünschen gut aufgehoben war. Auch die Lage empfanden wir als gut . Nah am Zentrum, alles gut zu Fuß und Bus erreichbar. Unser Zimmer war angenehm und auch das Frühstücksbuffet fand unseren Zuspruch. Es war ein schöner Aufenthalt und wir kommen gerne wieder.

Zeer confortabel hotel met goede kamers en een nette ontbijt zaal. Erg prettig is dat de airconditioning zelf bedient kan worden. Hotel personeel is vriendelijk en behulpzaam. Verder heeft het een eigen parkeer terreintje. Hiervoor dient wel extra betaald te worden. Je auto staat dan wel relatief veilig. Het hotel ligt aan de (oost)rand van de binnenstad […] aan een eenrchtingsweg naar buiten. Het is dus goed eerst uit te zoeken hoe je moet rijden om het te bereiken. 値段通りのホテルです。 可もなく不可もなしという感じ。 近隣にも手頃なレストランなどがあるので、食事に困ることはありません。 ただ、私が滞在した部屋は、トイレとシャワー仕切りなく一緒になっいたため、シャワー後は、トイレまで水浸し。 こういうタイプは、B&Bにたまにあります。残念な感じです。 あと、良いレストランの紹介をしてもらいましたが、激まずのところを紹介されました。

Es gibt auch schönere Zimmer im 1-2 Stock, im 3. und 4. wird es dann wohl einfacher. Dafür hatte ich ein grosses Zimmer mit Kühlschrank und TV (nur italienisches Programm - der einzige englisch sprachige Sender CNN funktionierte nach 1 1(2 Tagen nicht mehr), grosses Bad, Terasse. Frühstück war ok; Vielfalt an Teilchen und Brot, Käse, Schinken, Salamie, […] Müsli-Auswahl, Yoghurt, Marmelade+Nutella+Honig und Rühreei. Dazu Kaffee, Espresso, Tee, Saft, Milch. Man sollte allerdings nicht zu spät zum Frühstück erscheinen, da anscheinend nicht nachgepackt wird und es ab 9h wohl kein Rühreei mehr gibt. Es gibt 2 Busse, die Richtung Hauptbahnhof fahren, nur ca 2 Min vom Hotel entfernt, ins Centrum läuft man ca 15Min, die komplette Strada Maggiore entlang. Keine 5Min vom Hotel befindet sich ein kleine Supermarkt, eine Paralellstraße weiter gibt es ein Coop. Read more
