When you book a Super 8 Motel, you know you will usually get the bare minimum of service. This motel does not come close to even the minimum. The mattresses were sagging and lumpy, both the plumbing and heater made awful noises all night and the so called "Superstarter" breakfast was a joke, I guess because Twinkies are not available right now!

Very convenient if you want a place to stay overnight between San Francisco and Los Angeles. Nothing fancy, but clean and comfortable and the owners are very accommodating. Lots of restaurants and a Galaxy movie theater complex close by. Would recommend the very upscale Mexican restaurant next to the theater complex.

Only had one towel and a half roll of toilet paper when we checked in (there were three of us in the room). In the middle of the night, the heater/AC unit began banging and creaking. Place is okay as a last resort, but certainly not if you're looking for a resort.

The property and rooms were clean, and easy driving access to the freeway, stores and restaurants. We stayed here as a convenient location for getting out to the Pozo Saloon for an event. For some inexplicable reason, the bathroom light and fan are on a motion sensor switch. Enter the bathroom, and both will go on full blast. This is really bad in […] the middle of the night to be assaulted by the light and noise if you don't want them - including waking the rest of the room. You can't even get in, close the door, *then* choose to turn them on. This was made worse by especially noisy fans, and squeaky bathroom door. The owners did "spray something" that improved the door and fan for the second night, but still the motion sensors need to go. The room was clean, but my bathroom smelled musky and moldy. Cleanliness and comfort is typical of a Super 8, so no surprises really. The neighborhood is residential and very quiet. However, if you are planning an extended stay, I would recommend paying a little extra for a nicer hotel.

The hotel was quick access to the freeway. McDonalds was right accross the street with AW next door. Very convenient. The room was spacious with 2 queen size beds, a small table with 2 chairs, and another chair pulled up to a desk. Big refrigerator. Was not too loud being very close to the freeway.

I did read the reviews prior to utilizing the hotel and was somewhat tenuous, but was wonderfully surprised. I found the room comfortable and clean. The decor is not what makes or breaks my experience, but it did have a fairly fresh coat of paint on the walls. It was surprisingly quiet considering how close it was to the freeway. We checked in rather late after 9pm and I did have my paperwork from Expedia, which I believe was VERY helpful. We also brought our own pillows and I did have a back up blanket (just in case & we did not need it). I did this because of a couple of the other reviews. The A/C worked well, and the bathroom was very large and adequate to our needs. I am still glad I was prepared, but my experience was one that I would book here again, and would recommend this hotel for the purpose of "sleep" only. But that is all we wanted or needed. Read more

I expected an average stay at this hotel. What I got was nothing but rudeness from the proprietor. One time I asked him if I could get another roll of toilet paper and a box of Kleenex for our room. You would have thought I asked him for half the hotel. Another time, I asked him if I could get a printout of our room stay to be certain that there were […] no hidden charges. He started in with me in a raised aggravated voice, "You will know if you have extra charges if we find you damaged the room". What?! Instead of handling it like a human being, he acted as if I had totally offended him. Also, the room had a noisy air conditioner that kept me up part of the night. And in the morning, the outside lights to the hotel on our ENTIRE building went out way prior to sun-up (probably on a miss-adjusted timer). I had to guide my 88 year old mother down the stairs (no elevator) with a flashlight. The other building in the complex still had its lights on. The hotel room smelled awful. The heater was too loud. The towels were rough and they were stained. The shower curtain bar wasn't even so the curtain did not stay in place and the water was all over the floor.
