Candlewood Suites Cheyenne - Cheyenne

This hotel met all our expectations, was convenient and very clean.

I have no complaints about the Candlewood Suites in Cheyenne or my overnight stay there. I arrived late, after midnight, due to a delayed flight into Denver and some construction on an overpass over I-25. The lady at the front desk was pleasant and helpful despite the late hour. This candlewood charged me $35 for the pet fee when other candlewoods are only $10. They also didn't have an ice machine- the girl at the front desk told me to use the one in the freezer in the room. They also didn't offer any kind of breakfast. The location is good and the hotel was nice and new.

This is honestly one of the best hotels I have stayed at. The room was clean and the staff was very friendly and helpful. I would recommend this hotel to anyone who is staying in Cheyenne.

We did bring our pet along at check in the front desk told me that the fee was $35, that each of the hotels sets their own fee. But on the Hotel's site it said $25, so he was flexible and only charged $25 but the paperwork given to me had a blank for the cost that they fill in so I think the price changes all the time. I do feel that $25 was expensive […] since alot of hotels don't charge anything extra. Just have your credit card as a deposit. The room was very nice. The popcorn in the microwave was a nice touch! The hotel was easy to find off the interstate and there were restaurants nearby. The train tracks are nearby and noisy at night. Read more

The stay was comfortable and quiet. The spacious bath and kitchenette were clean and efficient. We really did not hear the train or outside noise. The biggest plus was the pet friendly atmosphere. Our dog was comfortable and relaxed and that is huge! The downside - They give you 1 regular and 1 decaf coffee packet and if you want a fresh coffee packet […] for the next day, you have to buy one or walk to the cupboard and get a cup. Very inconvient and the gal at the front desk, was unwilling to accomidate to make that a positive part of our stay. The fitness room is clean and comfortable with a large screen TV and they also have a business center available that I did not use but appeared very clean and user friendly. Beware of night trains

Room was in great condition and very comfortable, still had that brand new fee and smell.

I arrived at 11pm on the night of my check-in and the woman at the front desk treated me as though I was doing her a disservice by showing up so late and interrupting her from whatever it was she was doing. The phone rang while I was checking in and she looked at the phone and said with a disgruntled voice "NOT NOW!" She also told me the elevator was […] not working and then gave me a room on the 3rd floor in the middle of the hotel. I told her I had 2 small kids that were asleep and I had to carry them in, so after a few minutes of asking her if there were any more convenient rooms open, she gave me a room on the 2nd floor and said that was the best she could do. However, despite the poor and unfriendly service, the hotel room was very clean and roomy. Located very close to the highways made this hotel very convenient for travelers. Read more

This was our first stay in a Candlewood Suites and we would definitely stay in both this one and seek others again. The rest of the wedding guests stayed elsewhere, but I chose Candlewood Suites first. I definitely was the winner with much nicer accommodations. Quiet, clean, roomy. An excellent stay.
