All rooms include Accessibility featuresFamous for its hotels, Mayfair holds London's most expensive homes and, on Bond Street, its most expensive shops. But the tucked-away pubs, restaurants, and shops of atmospheric Shepherd Market offer affordable local colour, too. Sandwiched between several main roads, Marylebone has a village atmosphere and a charming High Street. Nearby attractions include Madame Tussaud's and the Georgian splendours of Regent's Park, including London Zoo.

Dukes is a wonderful find. Having been referred by a colleague, we stayed there on a short run to London. 4 doors down is the place Chopin stayed, so there's history here. The place is quaint, tucked off the path, not a lot of traffic, yet within walking distance to great restaurants, the Tube and everything we wanted to see on a first visit to London.

I got a standard room. The location is great, the hotel is quaint but I was disappointed in how small the room was - barely room for luggage and my wife and I. Also the bedspread was stained and the carpet was stained. Service was great.

The hotel was outstanding. The staff was nice and helpful. The rooms were good except for the bed. The bed seemed old and had the sleep depresions to prove it. ITs prime location was good for sights, attractions, shopping, the underground, and some dinning and pubs.

Being a frequent business traveler - it is great to stay in an local/independant hotel. Hotel has a great location tucked away in a quite side road. Ample superb restaurants on your door step, great proximity to shops and going out. Leicester Square, Theaters, and Tube are short walk away. Hotel is small - classic English. Room was immaculate, staff friendly and accommodating. Would not hesitate to return

We have always enjoyed staying at the Dukes Hotel. When we stayed in London at the Dukes in September, we were surprised to be disappointed by our experience; although they had recently renovated, the service seemed less personal and somewhat lackluster. We discovered that they had been recently purchased, and sadly attributed our experience to this. Happily, we decided to give them "one more chance" on our recent trip to London. Voila! Everything seemed back to normal, and each member of the staff seemed especally keen to make us feel special and welcome. We were so happy to see that this must have just been a temporary glitch. The Dukes is truly a "find".

Fabulous, quaint hotel in an excellent location. A few blocks from Buckingham Palace, near Green Park, near shopping. I was amazed at the service. They really went the extra mile. I checked in early without a problem, I asked directions to something on another floor and the person walked me there, when they called me with my wake-up call it was a real person and she offered to call back again in 10 minutes to make sure I was up. . . the room was great, nice drawing room to have tea in. . .I will stay there again on my next trip to London.
