A lovely hotel set in the fascinating town of Cholula. It is literally minutes away from the huge pyramid that dominates the area and easy to find. The hotel is in a delightful building set around a central courtyard with a large swimming pool. My only complaint is that the beds weren't overly-comfortable. I would definitely go back though.

This was our first stay at this hotel. We were very impressed with the cleanliness, the charm and the "real" Mexican experience. It was close to the Pyramid, downtown, and the track! We would walk to the track every morning and do a bit of exercise, then go to La Lunita for breakfast (much less expensive than the hotel, although we ate at the hotel […] many times for convenience). The pool was small, but it was perfect for the amount of guests staying at the hotel. The staff waited on us like we were royalty! We are going to stay there whenever we visit Cholula. Bring ear plugs because there isn't any AC and you need to keep the window open for the cool air. The dogs bark and there are fireworks during the holidays. Read more

The location was great - 5-10 minute walk to the Catedral de Cholula and the center. The room was very clean and cozy. Towels/sheets were changed daily. The personnel at the reception was helpful, but it should be noted that a basic level of Spanish would be greatly advantageous and much appreciated by the staff. Although we did not check out the pool […] or the restaurant, both looked very presentable. We had had a plumbing incident that was fixed that day. It was somewhat difficult to explain the location to drivers. Make sure to indicate that it is in San Andres Cholula and to carry a map of the area, if you can. Read more

We stayed at this hotel for three nights and quite enjoyed it and Cholula. The hotel is located on the other side of the pyramid from town, but it was a pleasant walk to the zocolo and the mercado in one direction and Container City in another. The view of the pyramid was stunning and worth the climb. The hotel was very clean and most of the staff were […] very professional. The restaurant staff took a while to come around and service improved over the course of our stay. However, Jesus, the maitre'd, was outstanding and we would have enjoyed spending more time talking to him and getting to know him better. Although there were reviews elsewhere that complained about the comfort of the beds, it must depend on which room because ours were great! The walls are a little thin when the neighbours decided to watch TV at three in the morning at full volume. The hotel is overall lovely, large and very quiet. Rooms are on three sides of a spacious courtyard containing a nice-sized pool. The restaurant and general hotel access are on the fourth side. When we visit Cholula again, we will most likely stay here. Read more

Good: Close to the Great Pyramid. Not so good: Beds are hard as rocks, dark rooms. Pool not very clean or maintained. Local celebration (virgin being moved from Church on Pyramid) meant fireworks going off around the clock making sleep difficult.

At the reception of the hotel or in the room, there is no information available about the two Cholulas...or how to find places where to eat near by or how to go to Puebla using public transportation...The public transprtation is located about 15 minutes walking from the hotel and it cost about US$0.75 the trip to a terminal just out of the Historical […] Center of Puebla. The food at the hotel was no particularly good and rather expensive. Puebla has a rich culinary cousine and rather close to the hotel accross the Zocalo of San Andres Cholula there is a clean, good and unexpensive restaurant. Yes, Mexican have their lunch from 2PM to 4PM...and they tend to have a rather heavy breakfast. Puebla is a beautiful place to visit and enjoy...yes...Visit to the church and piramide accross the hotel is also a must but give at least two or three days to enjoy the variety of beautiful things around Puebla.. En general me pareció que el hotel no cumplió con mis expectativas, de entrada la habitación era algo pequeña, no había suficientes artículos de aseo personal y el agua estaba fría.

Muy cerca de los lugares de interés en Cholula y el lugar perfecto para descansar un fin de semana. El servicio bueno y las habitaciones razonablemente bien, aunque la cama estaba pegada a una pared y eso puede ser un inconveniente para algunas parejas.

Me gustó el hotel con su arquitectura mexicana y muy limpio. Buena ubicacion, se ven las ruinas y la iglesia desde el hotel. Lo que no me gustó tanto fue la ubicacion de la cama, por lo menos en la habitacion que me tocó, estaba muy encerrada, mi marido tenía que pasar por arriba mio para salir, de cualquier manera no fue grave y la pasamos muy bien […] en el hotel. El hotel es agradable, un lugar ideal para ir con la pareja. Tiene un área de alberca muy bonita. La decoración me agrado mucho es slgo así como colonial mexicana. Y está a unos pasos de la zona arqueológica y la iglesia que desde arriba tiene una vista preciosa.

Vi var lidt betænkelige da vi efter booking hørte fra andre at hotellet var "overrated" i nogle guidebøger. Men betænkeligheden blev gjort til skamme fra det øjeblik vi kørte ind på P-pladsen. Gode værelser; masser af plads i omgivelser - pool uden for døren, legeplads (barnebarn på 2 år med) og (også sjovt med barnebarnet og også for voksne) en masse […] små nicher med arkæologiske figurer.
