The Operations Manager, Mark, was rude and condescending. There was a woman when first arrived who was very pleasant and helpful. However the manager and another male at the desk in the evening were put out with any questions or requests.

The hotel was good--convenient location, nice room. However, the pool was horrendous--green water and terrible odor, and the towels are basically hand towels. We picked the Comfort Inn & Suites when we still weren't entirely sure where our trip to this part of Maine would take us. It was centrally located for travelling the coast to the south and visiting the Portland area. The hotel is brand new and very clean and comfortable. The bathroom didn't have a vent fan so when the bathroom was used the entire room stunk up. Their waffle maker at the continental breakfast is their bread and butter, it was dirty and didn't work well. The checkout guy was a jerk. One the upside the cleaning lady was an absolute sweet heart.

We were not happy about having our air conditioning turned off by housekeeping. It was an extremely warm day, and we came back to a very uncomfortable warm room. Also, the shower head was broken in the pool area, water just squirted out everywhere. I did not want to get wet, I only wanted to rinse off my son, and I ended up very wet in the process. […] There was also no clock in the pool area, so it was hard to tell what time it was in regards to the pool closing in the evening. It would have been nice to have had an exhaust fan in the bathroom, the bathroom got very steamed up and hot after a shower. The free continental breakfast was a joke. When I got there I had to wait 15 minutes for the girl to finally help me.. Then she gave me a room and I went there and there were people in the room,. Then when I was checking out the man at the front desk was so rude and using vulgar words about the guest at the hotel.

Check in was quick and friendly. Room was surprisingly spacious and well appointed. Hotel is close to Scarborough Marsh and Pine Point but also close to major shopping sites and supermarkets. Several nearby restaurants. Comfortable bed although the pillow arrangement needs review.

The hotel was located in great place, room was nice, breakfast included in price was good, our only complaint after driving for 5 hours was that after we checked in and planned on staying in for the night we had to leave to go to store to buy water and soda because on every floor and we tried them all and even went to the front desk and asked if they […] may have had some available there because the machines were all not working, we were told no they are not working and you will have to go to a convenience store. I feel that they could have made an effort if they knew the machines were not working to at least have some available to buy at the front desk. Read more

Bon déjeuner, hôtel entouré d'arbre donnant du cachet, bon service à la réception. Ascenseur bruillant même à deux chambres de celui-ci. Nous désirions passer quelques jours en vacances à Old Orchard Beach mais tout était complet aux dates où nous voulions y aller. Nous avons donc réservé au Comfort Inn à Scarborough. Nous avons bien aimé cette alternative car le trajet ne prend qu'environ 10 minutes pour se rendre à la plage. Nous avons pu stationner l'auto gratuitement en bordure de […] la route et avons pris un stationnement public lorsque nous voulions nous rapprocher des attractions. De plus, l'hôtel dispose d'une petite piscine intérieure et les petits déjeuners sont très bien. Notre chambre était très propre et confortable. Nous avons apprécié le fait d'avoir 4 oreillers sur chacun des 2 lits (souvent on les cherche dans les garde-robes ou tiroirs de bureau...) Nous recommandons cet hôtel. Read more
