The service i received on my stay was excellent . Upon arrival my vehicle broke down in the parking lot. I was not going to be able to get it fixed before my check out time. The staff allowed me to stay over until it was fixed. Everyone i dealt with was very courteous. Jenn was the front desk attendant when i arrived and departed. She allowed me to switch rooms because the room i received was not a smoking room like i had booked. I would recommend the Hilton Garden Inn as a top notch hotel and would gladly stay there again. s a top notch

I was in South Bend at the convention center during the day for a business meeting. I stayed at the Doubletree as it was right across the street and connected to the center and I was meeting friends for the evening and next day. The hotel was quiet, the staff friendly and answered all of my questions with a smile. The restaurant in the hotel was wonderful with a good selection of food at a reasonable price. Downtown was close and within walking distance. The campus of Notre Dame is not close to this hotel. You would need a car to get there.

We stayed at the Hampton Inn Goshen for the Notre Dame Blue-Gold game and it was awesome. The room was excellent and we even got a call about 20 minutes... after we checked in to make sure the room was ok. Bed was very comfortable. It was about 45 min to an hour to Notre Dame stadium but totally worth it for those on a budget. Complimentary breakfast was delicious. We stayed at this hotel when we were in the area to see Notre Dame. The hotel is 45-60 minutes away from ND, but we didn't have any problems getting to or from the game so it's a great location for that. The staff knew that's what people were in town for and provided directions and maps. Breakfast was a bit lackluster, but it was included in the cost […] of the room so I can't complain too much. However, I would suggest they stop using whatever cheese they used in their cheese omelet. There are a number of restaurants located nearby - including one that was featured on the Food Network. Wal-Mart and other stores are also nearby to stock up for the big game. My one, biggest complaint would be the water pressure. It seemed that the warmer you wanted the shower, the worse the water pressure got. We ended up having to take longer showers because the pressure of a hot shower was so bad. My room was a bit stale smelling, but other that that EVERYTHING was great! Bed very comfy, and people were top notch. The hotel is back off the road, but there is a sign that tells you where to turn and as that street is really busy, there was almost no traffic noises since it is back. :) would definitely stay there again! :)

The staff was very nice to my energetic boys, and quickly got us extra items (ex: pillows) that we requested. The fitness room fit my needs perfectly. The room was clean and very comfortable. Only suggestion i have is if additional lifejackets could be provided in the pool area. (We had forgotten ours at home.)

There were a lot of Amish and Mennonite people in the area, and I came to enjoy the clip clop of the horses' hooves as they went by. There is not much to do in the area. A nearby diner called Lux had good food. I had a wonderful omelet there. The hotel manager, Pat, was fantastic and always willing to go the extra mile. I would probably stay there […] again, just because of her. People really do make the difference! The hotel's hot tub was out of service while I was there, and I found the room's television to be slightly undersized for the space and difficult to operate. Read more

For the price, this was one of the best Hotels I have ever stayed in. The comfort and cleanliness of the room was top notch. Great breakfast and the proximity to downtown Goshen was within minutes. I would definitely recommend this great please to others!! MC Rockford, IL

The only real negative is for an out-of-towner like myself, it was fairly easy to get lost finding the right highway to the hotel. Otherwise great!!

Hampton in Goshen was CLEAN, quiet, friendly, and has the most comfortable beds and pillows I've ever slept on. They also have a great breakfast buffet!

Fine hotel in off-the-beaten track location. We stayed there on a Notre Dame football weekend--it is about a 45 minute drive to campus in South Bend. Very nice breakfast and spacious room, The staff was friendly. Watch for horse & buggies if you are driving there at night!

Spent Friday night of a Notre Dame football weekend at the Hampton Inn Goshen. A bit difficult to locate, but the staff was outstanding, the room was clean and comfortable and the breakfast buffet good. I stongly recommened the Hampton Inn Goshen.

A little hard to see the location of the Hampton Inn from the road as it is nestled behind another building, But it was worth the search. This has to be one of the best places I have ever stayed.

When travelling I try to stay at a Hampton Inn as their beds are very comfortable. They are usually a sure bet and this one measured up favorably. The one disappointment was the gym. There was no air conditioning and not even a fan.
