This hotel was an unexpected pleasure for many reasons, especially the price for the accommodations. The hotel is modern, rooms spacious. Its location is not in the historic downtown, and that may be its only disadvantage, but most people in Cody will (like us) have a rental car, and with a car, it is only a couple of miles from the Irma Hotel, the […] Buffalo Bill Center, etc., Its location is actually an advantage if you are going to the Buffalo Bill Dam or the Cody Nite Rodeo. This was a great hotel with an awesome free breakfast. The rooms are great with plenty of space. It is on the western side of Cody, not close to downtown, but just across the street from the nightly summer rodeo. We would definitely stay here again.

Upscale hotel at an affordable price. This was by far the nicest hotel we stayed at during our trip to the Grand Tetons, Yellowstone, Cody area. Wish we could have stayed longer and used the amenities. Staff was friendly. Breakfast was more than expected. Stay at The Cody if there are rooms, you won't regret it.

We chose this hotel because we wanted something a level better but what we got was just another typical hotel. The view from our patio was the back of an electric company with old parts in a fenced yard. The room seemed dark because none of the lights were bright enough. Although this hotel is located a little far for Yellowstone the drive was worth it. The hotel was as expected, with friendly staff, good quality rooms, very comfortable beds and a nice breakfast. We did not use the swimming pool and gym facilities, but they looked very tempting. Can't wait to go back to Cody!

I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone. Our goal was Yellowstone National Park. It was a very simple trip from The Cody to Yellowstone. A direct route to the East Entrance. The scenery was spectacular along the way as well as Yellowstone Park. The hotel is located about 50 miles from that entrance. I was disappointed that it was 50+ miles from Yellowstone, but all the hotels there were booked, so it was our best option. The concierge was extremely patient, and helped us find the activities we wanted to do ( a great rafting trip and rodeo, both of which were within 5 minutes of the hotel) and advised us to take the scenic route from Cody to Yellowstone, […] which was extraordinarily beautiful, and the best part of the entire trip. We left very early in the morning, at around 5 AM and saw antelope, elk, and bears, and enjoyed the ride even more than the park. Read more

The Cody is a fabulous hotel. The rooms are large, the bathroom fabulous. All the amenities were there, including a nice bench on the back patio complete with side table for resting my coffee cup on while I read in the mornings. Having had two previous stays in Cody, WY, this was the the best hotel by a long shot. It's new, modern hotel layout, and very comfortable. Continental breakfast was excellent. Most other hotels in the town are old style motels. For a nominal upcharge to stay at The Cody, well worth the extra cost.

Cody is a small town, and there didn't seem to be many choices in lodging. The Cody was the newest hotel we saw, and the outside appearance and lobby are very attractive. However, the "We've-decided-to give-you- an 'upgrade'" -- that WASN'T AN UPGRADE -- treatment at check-in (even though we weren't informed of the change at the time and had to discover […] the change for ourselves by actually trudging to the room at the end of a long day. . . tainted our first impression of this hotel. The room we eventually got was nice enough, but the bathroom was quite small, AND the A/C did not work well the first night, so we had to report that problem the next morning. To their crediti, it was dealt with during the day while we were out, but the first night was not pleasant as we got too hot due to the A/C problem. Read more

Not too impressed as the extra person charges for our 2 children. However, everything else was excellent apart from this - pool, breakfast, welcoming cookies etc. I think all Cody accommodation is expensive in August.
