San Marina Motel - Daytona Beach

Was very disappointed with my stay. Room was very,very small. Mold on ceiling in bathroom. Air conditioner was super loud. My car was vandalized overnight in the parking lot!!

Not as bad as the other reviews made it out to be. Was surprised to see flat screen with lots of channels, fridge, microwave, but no coffee maker! No one was there when I went to check on but only had to wait 10 minutes. Very inconvenient parking though.

I feel it was worth the price. The linen was not clean, I booked for 3 and they had enough towels in the room for 2. They charged for additional towels. The room itself was clean with Nice updated carpet and bathroom.

This is obviously a dated hotel without any level of professionalism in the staff running the place. When I locked myself out of my room, they didn't even check my ID to make sure I was a guest in that room. When I left for dinner, I was gone maybe about an hour and a half and upon returning had noticed someone had been in my room. I confronted management […] about it & they claimed the only one with a key was me and they have no reason to use their key to enter my room. Glad I had nothing of value because I feel that it would have been taken. The cops were called on some other guests, none of my business what was going on. Overall seemed like bad clientele, bad area, and inexperienced staff. You get what you pay for, just because it's cheap, doesn't mean it's worth it. Read more

The staff was nice and very prompt about any requests. With that being said, we did find 1 large roach that got stepped on in the room and we both were sneezing everytime we took a shower. Seemed like a ghetto location, but only a block or 2 from the nice part of town. I wouldn't recommend, but it's better than nothing.

Stayed during first part of bike week, catered to bikers in that we were allowed to park our bikes close to our rooms. Amusing to come out in the morning and see bikes all around the pool area Does need to upgrade pillows and get coffee pots in rooms. Like I said earlier, for the price - worth it.

My fault with this experience is that I prebooked this hotel online, when I pulled up I parked in the back which didnt look at all like the picture, I wanted to run, after walking around the building I saw what the picture was showing me but it seemed so much smaller. Checked in and was required a $20 deposit for the key which was returned to me when […] I checked out, go to a king size bedroom and when u open the door, the bed almost hits you in the face, its literally about one foot of walking space, the shower is okay but only 2 small bars of soap and one real sized towel, one smaller than that and then another smaller one that feels like sandpaper or wax material. The thing is, I went to check in early and they told mw that they were booked until 11, so hearing that I assumed check out was at 11, but they wouldn't let me check in until 2. Then when it was the day to check out, they come knocking at my door at 10:00 to tell me its checkout time....so I spent 47.44 (after tax) to leave at 10? If its any correlation, the Indian family that took care of me was extremely nice, but they couldn't save the experience I had. Read more

I WAS VERY PLEASED WITH THE ROOM I HAD. IT WAS CLEAN, APPEARED WELL MAINTAINED, AND WAS COMFORTABLE. IT HAD A NICE FLAT PANEL TV, A MICROWAVE OVEN, AND A SMALL REFRIGERATOR WHICH HELPED MAKE MY 3 DAY STAY THERE MORE ENJOYABLE. I WOULD RECOMMEND THIS HOTEL TO ANYONE.

Older but perfect hotel for Bikeweek and Biketoberferst. Price is very reasonable. Not a fancy place, but simple and clean and very biker friendly, you can park your bike right in front of your room. The area by the pool where the table and chairs are right beside the sidewalk is perfect for watching all the action on A1A or socializing, about 10ft […] from the street. Rooms are nothing fancy but are perfect for a bike or party event. Only small complaint is the soap bars, they are super tiny, good for about one shower. my room was a smoking room around back and it had a terrible odor from smokers. I felt a little unsafe in the back. However, my friends rooms were in the front and very nice and clean. Great location! They allowed our motorcycles to be parked in front of our rooms in the front.

Needing a budgeted place to stay and after reading all the previous reviews we came preprared. I brought extra towels extra sheets, cleaners, but didn't need any of them. My husand likes it very cool but he suffered through it. We were very close to the beach walked there to fish and swim. Pool looked very nice but we didn't test the water. Some reviews stated that their rooms did not have microwaves or fridges our room had brand new ones. The room was clean house keeping came once of the 3 nights we stayed which was fine.
