Tokoriki Island Resort is nothing short of wonderful. Yes, it is a beautiful resort in a stunning setting. Yes, it has a fabulous kitchen with a varied menu so you won't get bored. Yes, they even have a small Japanese-themed restaurant just to add variation. Yes, the weather was gorgeous. But another resort could have all those things and not be as […] wonderful. What makes Tokoriki Island Resort fabulous is the staff. When we arrived we were welcomed by people playing music for us. Normally, this is when I'd like to crawl under a chair and avoid the attention. But this really was fun. The band plays from lunch on and off most of the day. They play a welcome song when people arrive, they play a sad song when you leave. Whenever you walk by a member of the staff, he or she will say, "Bula!" Some, and I don't know how, will remember your name. The staff makes you feel truly welcome. One thing you need to know is that meals are not rushed,. When we arrived in Nadi, our plane was an hour late. We apologized to our transfer driver. He said, "It's OK. We are on 'island time.' When you get to Tokoriki, if something is late, you just say, 'It's island time." We laughed, but it was a good lesson. Some meals tend to take a little bit longer than we would have liked. Found the staff very friendly and helpful. Food was excellent on the whole. The Japanese meal an experience not to be missed! The bure was beautifully prepared with posies of flowers on the beds and in each room. The queen sized bed was most attractively draped and the whole feel of the resort was very romantic and peaceful. It was an added bonus that […] there were no children allowed. The Spa treatments were wonderful, and very reasonably priced. Only found the manicure was less than perfect, not professionally done, and the nail varnish didn't last more than a couple of days. I loved it so much. I especially liked the food&people. All the staff are more than kind and they are like friends. We had fijian buffet at the first night and seafood platter at the last night. I strongly suggest seafood platter because you will never be able to have such nice and fresh seafood (especially the lobster was amazing!) in any other country […] but fiji. The pool was a bit small but still nice over looking the ocean. I can' tell everything I liked. Just few things to note: I expected to see clean&white sand beach in Tokoriki. It was white but not clean. There were many seaweeds laying on the beach and this is what I did not like. But it was ok because they have nice pool. The resort is not crowded and most staffs called me by my name. Guests are nice and friendly too. If you want to stay in calm, friendly, and relaxing environment, Tokoriki is what you are looking for. A bit expensive so make sure you have enough extra budget with you, if you are going to have 3 meals a day in the resort and spa package. They have high quality food and spa which are understandably not cheap. Read more

Had a wonderful stay. Staff made us feel part of the family, room facilities were great with private lounge and plunge pool directly overlooking the sea. No children made it a great escape. Food fresh and varied. As always everything comes on Fiji Time, but that's part of the experience. Would definitely return.

Facilities and Bure were first class. The staff are genuinely pleased to greet and mix with you and they all make a point of referring to you by name. A number of activities such as snorkeling, sailing, kayaking etc are all complimentary. The food was suburb and the voice excellent and varied. We have stayed before and will be back again!

The hotel is idilyically situated by the crystal clear sea that is ideal for snorkelling and other water sports. The hotel consists of separate burets nestled in the lush tropical trees overlooking the sea. The staff were very friendly, knew us by name, and looked after us very well. And the food was delightful.

We had a very good time in the resort for our honeymoon. A close proximity to the sea and decent size swimming pool. It's not influx with so many people so the whole environment is so relaxed and quiet. The room is very satisfactory.(Although it takes a bit walk from the pool to our Bure room) One more plus is they do provide free complimentary snorklering […] trip. Really appreciate that. The service was not really good, especially to Asian. Most of the staff were not friendly, only 2-3 were nice. Had to wait for the meal/breakfast nearly an hour after ordered. The room was in good condition but nobody made up the room except the bed only, nobody cleaned up the rubbish bin during our stay of 2 nights.

Siamo stati solo 3 notti all'hotel. Il prezzo e' piuttosto elevato ma come vedrete alla Fiji si trovano o alberghi per backpacker o alberghi di lusso. Devo dire che abbiamo trovato il prezzo un po eccessivo ma la pulizia della camera, la gentilezza dello staff, l'atmosfera dell'hotel sono molto soddisfacenti.
