Hotel is located in beautifully restored pallazo, breakfast room is sumptuous. Breakfast less so although it improved noticeably on our third day. Stayed in "hibiscus room" which is closet-like with no windows but not claustrophobic due to window in second room which looks over hotel car park and is very quiet and a mirror wall. Staff is astonishingly inept at recommendations. We were sent to a "gelato place" which actually only had ice cream bars, a restaurant that we couldn't get into because we needed reservations, a chocolate shop that was closed, another restaurant that was closed. This was all from different people so it was not due to some instinctive dislike from a single employee and seemed instead simply stellar ineptness. We would stay there again. Location is right across from duomo and tourist office which was very helpful and about 2blocks from the pascale gelatoria, pattiseria, chocolateria and aracine place which is definitely worth a visit.

We chose this hotel because its location right by the sea. You can go down a few steps from the hotel's terrace and enter transparent and clear water. We chose Avola because we knew it was a nice town, and centrally located to visit many sites in the area, either naturalistic like the Vendicari Nature reserve area, or cultural historic like Noto, Modica etc. We enjoyed our stay because of the wonderfully friendly and generous service at this B&B.

The rooms are beautifully decorated. The spa is top-of-the line. And the icing on the cake was the general manager, Massimo. Massimo made us feel like family and elevated our stay from very good to absolutely superb. Massimo catered to our every request -- setting us up with fantastic private tour guides, directing us to the best local restaurants and even taking us shopping and to taste the best local cannolis. I cannot say enough good things about Massimo. He really made our stay special.

The Montreal was certainly inexpensive. It was located in a safe part of town, near the Duomo. It was quite a hike to Ragusa Ibla which is the historic part of town. Straight down a steep hill and up again on the other side. Not that far but a challenge! Room very minimal,single bed, decent bath. レンタカーで立ち寄りました。駐車代金を取られるものの路上で駐車スペースを割かす必要なく良かったです。フロントの女性は英語が上手くイタリア語の不得意な私は感激した。イブラへも徒歩で行ける距離に立地していて満足でした。朝食も美味しかったです。
