It was nothing spectacular. It served our purpose but there were many things that could have been better. It's hard to get a sound night of sleep because the street noise is really loud. Depending on who your neighbors are, you could be dealing with more annoying noise(The walls are really thin). There was bad smell coming from under the sink and the […] dishwasher in the kitchen. The plumbing in general is dodgy. They must shut off the hot water after 6pm so you must do this special "boost" thing in order to take a hot shower at night. You need to wait 15 min in between flushing the toilet or it doesn't work. The front desk forgot to give us a wake up call one day and we almost missed our tour. The beds were really comfy but the pillows were flat and stiff. There's a door and every room (including the living room and kitchen) so you have prop them open with something heavy if you want them to stay open. It was nice to have more space than a hotel room, kitchen came in handy as well as the washing machine. Front desk staff was really nice. Read moreGenuine Expedia guest review
"Good walking location."
The apartments were clean and spacious. Good location-we walked everywhere. I would recommend them to others.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Good value but few amenities."
Few amenities. Room is not cleaned daily. Bedroom doors don't lock. No bathroom shelves. Great location.Genuine Expedia guest review
"Not A bad place for Inner City"
Hot water was almost non-existant. Hotel Staff was incapable of getting it fixed as the control head we were supposed to have in each apartment had been removed. Was overall clean and great location.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"This is a terrible - Stay Away!"
We arrived last night with my family hoping to have a "home away from home". So the first thing: the room was filthy. The floors were sticky and had unswept hair in the bathroom and the kitchen. Beyond disgusting. Carpets in the bedrooms have not seen a vacuum cleaner since the place was built: bordering on health hazard. Bed sheets, while washed, had […] stains and rips. The clencher though is the water heater: it gives you enough hot water for 2 5-second showers. The apartment is a maze of corridors, lifts and stairs so navigating - very tough. Our first night - there was a party outside at 4am and we were woken up by alcohol induced screams and songs. The only saving grace of this hotel is the washing machine. BTW - when they say dryer - they meant a drying rack to hang your clothes on. We used the heaters and our clothes were done in 2 hours - especially since with the luggage being lost we had to do a quick wash. The front desk staff is friendly and means well but they lack in execution. Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review
"OK , but could be better maintained"
Shower pressure was a problem. The staff tried to fix it and it worked ok for 2 days but then was a problem againGenuine Expedia guest review
The apartment was nicely furnished, clean and easy walking to city sites.Genuine Expedia guest review
"Great Place to Stay for Family or Group"
The rooms were large with separate bedrooms and kitchen. The apartment had a full kitchen and washer/dryer. The staff would totally helpful. The site is relatively well situated to a number of sites, but a long walk to downtown. Near bus service, however. The neighborhood was a bit sketchy though - but OK.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Very unfriendly staff."
No one ever acknowledged or said hi to us every time we passed the reception area during our 4 days stay. Apt was very well equipped and convenient but the building was very noisy.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Good Place for a Family Stay"
Not an elegant stay, but very clean and well supplied two bedroom apartment. Perfect for our family stay with adult children. We did not cook, but there was a complete kitchen. Also, a covered and locked car park that is an excellent extra in Dublin. The location is not in Temple Bar, but near enough for a pleasant walk and far enough away to be pretty […] quiet at night. The staff was very helpful with all questions and requests. Our only problem was in getting the washer/dryer to dry the clothes. We ended up draping them around to dry. Probably should have asked for help on this, too. Read moreGenuine Expedia guest review
"A bit disappointing"
Nice surrounding area with lots of pubs, restaurants and shoping. Staff was helpful and the beds were comfortable, but the bathroom had no counter space or place to plug in a blow dryer. Doors would slam shut unless you put something, such as a folded up piece of paper, underneath them - door stops are cheap and are needed. Could have used some maintenance […] since some tiles were cracked in the kitchen. The kitchen needed more pots and pans as there was only one 8 inch frying pan and a couple of small pots. Don't believe the claim of free internet - the signal was so weak that I could not get on to my company's site to check my messages. Read moreGenuine Expedia guest review
The apartment was very clean and security excellent. The only way into the complex was through the office and that door was always locked and the clerk had to buzz you in. There is a security code to get into the buildings and that is changed weekly. The staff was very knowledgeable and helpful.Genuine Expedia guest review
"WONDERFUL stay & Very surprised!"
The Augustine Apartments were very nice and within close proximity to everything you would want to do on your stay in Dublin. A 10 minute walk to Trinity College & Temple Bar Area. The aparments were extremely clean and updated. We arrived in Dublin around 5:30 am and got to Augustine around 6:00 am. Check in is not until 2:00 pm but the young man at […] the check in desk let us check in early (at no extra cost) so that was a huge plus considering it was so early in the morning. Any time we needed help or needed a question answered the staff were very willing to accomodate us. We were in Block E of the apartment complex which was at the end and still not a far walk even with luggage. It felt very secure and well kept. I was a little worried and apprehensive after booking and reading other reviews but it honestly was perfect for our stay. I would definitely stay here when we visit again and actually recomended it to people we know visiting in July. The hot water heater worked if you knew how to work it correctly. There was only 2 of us and we could both take hot showers/baths. If you turn the water heater on before bed and then in the morning you will have plenty of hot water (so no worries there). The linens were clean and so were the bedrooms. Since we stayed for more than a week we had the maid service that is included with a 7+ day stay. They came in and cleaned halfway through our stay and we had cash and a laptop in the room and nothing had been touched. Read moreGenuine Expedia guest review
We stayed two nights we'd and sat. First night was fine . Old rooms with dirty carpets. Tv remote did not work and no soap at all. Large rooms but doors did not stay open. Second night was awful. We tried to use the washer and had to stop it during the spin cycle as it sounded like it was going to take off. The shower head was broken and the dishwasher […] smelled back. Finally got the remoe to work after 3 tries. Carpet was dirty. The worst part was that another guest set off the fire alarm at midnight. Nothing was offered for compensation.. The neighborhood was questionable. Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review
It was a very good appt. Was a little hard to find and the instructions how to get there were missleading. It never told us that we needed to go around the building to the office interence, instead we went in the car interence and was told it was for the cars only. Other than that it was very nice clean appt.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
The front desk personnel were very helpful when we arrived to facilitate the return of our rental car, the use of the parking garage to get our baggage to the room, and finding our way around the neighborhood, especially to a supermarket. I suppose it is a building/fire code requirement, but having spring loaded hinges on interior doors is very unusual. […] Overall, easy walking to all major downtown sights. "2 nights of heavy rain and surrounded by noise!"
Noises boiler, washing machines and form the street. The double glazing acted like a single pain of glass when it came to reducing the cold and noise from the surrounding streets and other residents in the blocks of apartments added to the disturbance I experienced during my stay, however, I did not experience any disturbances during the hours of 12 […] midnight and 6am. "Great location and standards. Better than a hotel!"
I am a regular visitor to Dublin but I usually stay in a hotel. Not any more! This was the first time in an apartment which I booked for a friends birthday celebration. The apartment gave us much more freedom at no extra cost in comparison to hotels. There were 3 women on this trip for a 5 night stay. On arrival we received a warm welcome and my friend […] was wished a happy birthday. Check in was simple and efficient and we were very pleased when we saw our lovely apartment.. It was spacious, modern, clean and comfortable with a balcony that is accessable from the living room. Sofas and chairs were cosy with one sofa that adapts to a sofa bed. The dining area seated 6 and the kitchen had everything you would have at home, even a dishwasher! It was a modern kitchen with soft closing drawers. The washing machine, tumble drier, iron and ironing board were in a separate room. We had 2 bedrooms, one with good sized twin beds and the other with a larger than king sized bed. All beds were very comfortable and spotless. The bathroom was spacious with bath and shower option and plenty of hot water. Staff were friendly and helpful throughout our stay. I cannot fault this place and will definitely be booking again. Read moreGenuine Expedia guest review
"Gets all of the basics right"
Good location. Easy to walk back from Temple Bar area and great restaurants. Several cafés nearby for morning beverages and breakfast. The room was plain but had everything I'd need. Very clean. Bonus that laundry and a full kitchen was in the room. Not fancy but decent condition and very practical for a longer stay. I'd stay there again.Genuine Expedia guest review
"Good value apartment near most attractions in city"
Apartment was in good location, 10-20 walk from most things we wished to see. Good value, with all amenities we wanted. Our plan was to eat breakfast and dinner at the apartment to spend money elsewhere and this worked well (lidl around the corner).Genuine Expedia guest review
Great place to stay - had everything you would need whilst away, the kitchen was great and much better than having just a hotel room. Friendly, courteous and professional staff, only 15 minutes from the city centre and easy to find if you're using the Airlink service from the airport (it's stop 10)Genuine Hotels.com guest review

"Great location and Value"
Day staff really friendly and happy to assist. The location was ideal and gave the opportunity to eat/drink in the apartment which makes the apartments even better value than your standard hotel. The apartment was large enough so that we had no noise traveling from other apartments which I often find to be an issue in most hotels.Genuine Expedia guest review
"Visit to Dublin"
We were fortunate to be upgraded to a two bedroom apartment which was excellent. The place could do with a little TLC but I believe they have started renovations in Block A already. The apartment we had was very clean and well equiped with plenty of hot water. The apartment was ideally placed for sightseeing and with a Tesco Express, Spar and Lidl at […] the top of the road very handy for stocking up with some essential supplies (wine and chocolates!). Really nice size and clean apartments in a central location not far from bus and tram routes. As well not far from a few attractions. all our group were extremely satisfied with our stay in staycity apt, reception people very helpful, no problems to report.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
Difficult to locate, many one way streets, poorly signposted roads and inner city poor area.View from apt=walls of neighbouring buildings. Great value especially due to the location. Right in the middle of everything so not far to walk to see all the sites. Staff were very friendly and were there to help you with anything. "FANTASTIC APARTMENTS, GREAT LOCATION!"
Considering the price I got these apartments for I wasn't expecting much. However, on arrival we were amazed and impressed with our apartment. A huge entrance hall, with 2 bedrooms, a large bathroom with shower over a bath, sink and toilet, and even a laundry room with a washing machine!! round the corner was our living room with modern leather sofa […] bed and 2 arm chairs, dining table and kitchen area. The kitchen was well equipped with a fridge freezer, cooker and microwave. We even had a bottle of chilled water in the fridge, lots of complimentary tea & coffee (that lasted the duration of out 4 night stay), plus free mini toiletries in the bathroom. Beds were soo comfy. My only complaint was that the rest of the cleaning wasn't quite up to my standard but nothing a quick wipe with a cloth wouldn't fix. There is also a balcony, although ours looked over the car park opposite, so not the best view. The staff were lovely and the location was great & quiet. Only a 10 min walk along the river to the Temple Bar area and about 20 mins to town. The tour bus stops 5 mins up the road and the airlink bus stops around the corner. we got a combined bus ticket from the airport which gave us return bus journey to the airport and 48 hours on the 'hop on, hop off' tour bus for 24euro (kids free!!). Overall we were very please, and I was soo glad I choose these apartments instead of a hotel. Read moreGenuine Expedia guest review

"A welcome break from cramped European hotels!"
After two weeks touring through Paris and France (and staying in cramped hotel rooms which are the norm), StayCity was a blessing. Lots of room; kitchen, living and sleeping areas all separate and we were able to do some laundry with the in-unit washer/dryer. The oldest pub in Ireland is only a 5 minute walk away - The Brazen Head. The only down-side […] of our StayCity apartment were the stained old carpets but otherwise the apartment was very clean and in good condition. Read moreGenuine Expedia guest review
