My 21 year old son and 2 friends stayed at this hotel for spring break. They said it was the best. Great spot and treated very well.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
Really good apartment. Stayed one night, generally decent condition and clean. Only issue was the sofa bed was missing some of the slats so wasn't as comfy as it could have been.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Handy for short weekend"
Needed somewhere to stay over the rugby international weekend. Spacious enough for five adults and enough cutlery and crockery to meet our needs. Beds were comfy but fifth person had to use a pretty rickety sofa bed in the lounge area. Very warm appartment with decent kitchen facilities. Handy to centre of Dublin.Genuine Expedia guest review
"Good city centre location."
Appartments easy to find, perfect for a short break with 2 adult children.Genuine Expedia guest review

"Spacious, clean accommodations."
Wonderful comfy beds. Great to have separate living space with kitchenette, laundry. Staff very helpful and friendly.Genuine Expedia guest review
Great value for money in a perfect Dublin location most of main points can be reached walking in less than 15 mins. Nothing fancy but clean and in good condition . Would recommend highlyGenuine Hotels.com guest review
Nice place. I stayed in room 105 in block E on 26 and 27th August. Biggest issue was a pipe in the hotpress that made a terrible noise about once every 3-4 minutes throughout the night. Real pain. A maintenance guy called in the morning to swap a bulb and he seemed to have fixed it.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"More than I expected!"
The apartment I rented turned out to be much more than I anticipated. Thinking it would just be a couple of small rooms, it turned out to be a proper apartment I could find myself living in in any city in the world. Living room, large spacious kitchen, massive balconies, multiple bathrooms, and an overall excellent rental. Private underground parking […] was also available, which was a huge reason I selected this place. My only problem was that it was a bit confusing to get from the reception to the apartment. But this a small price to pay considering how secure the place was, not to mention quiet and in an area close to Temple bar and the only gas station in the area. Read moreGenuine Expedia guest review

"Great for solo traveller"
This apartment was very convenient and well equipped. The staff were very helpful and friendly.Genuine Expedia guest review
Really good experience here - great location, nice big room, and good customer service. This is really fantastic value for money and I would recommend it highly to anyone, but for a group travelling to Dublin and wanting to share this is a must.Genuine Expedia guest review
The hotel was not clean. The toilet did not flush properly. There was an awful smell in the common parts of the property and In the room. Very poor standard of hygiene. Location was good.Genuine Expedia guest review
"Great value and central - busy but friendly"
I stayed here with my three children. We found it a perfect base from which to explore Dublin city centre. It was roomy, bright and well maintained, without being fussy or expensive. The only repair we requested was dealt with inside 30 minutes and the staff were without exception helpful and friendly. This is not a top-of-the-range apartment block […] but excellent value for money. The only negative aspect is that it seems to be a magnet for stag and hen parties from across Europe. Having said that, we saw and heard nothing other than good-natured groups of this type during our stay. Read moreGenuine Expedia guest review

"Good for a night out with friends at a decent rate"
Stayed for one night in a 2 bed apartment with four of us in the group. Apartment is lovely, modern, clean and well kitted out. Balcony in every apartment. Staff were very helpful. Good location, short walk to city centre (although we taxi'd due to cold icy night). Free wifi was hit and miss as tried to connect via mobiles but either very slow or not […] connecting at all. Apartment block is huge and we were in the end block so about a 3 minute walk through the building and up and down stairs/lifts to get to it. Biggest let down was the fact that there is only enough hot water for two people (in an apartment that sleeps 5!!) unless u read the info and see that u need to boost the water for two hours. Maybe reception should make a bigger deal about this. And the fire alarm was set off at 1020am on the Sunday morning but not long enough to evacuate (but definitely long enough to wake you for the 11am check out despite the fact we paid for late checkout. Overall, place was ok. Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review

THE APARTMENT WAS OK BUT THERE WERE CERTAIN THINGS MISSING WHICH I INFORMED THE RECEPTIONIST ABOUT.THEY INCLUDED LACK OF PHONE AND COOKING UTENSILS.ALTHOUGH I REMINDED THEM THE ITEMS WERE NOT REPLACED DURING OUR 2 DAY STAY .THE ROOMS SHOULD BE MORE CAREFULLY CHECKED BY THE HOUSEKEEPER BETWEEN VISITSGenuine Hotels.com guest review
no complaints whatsoever. apartment was clean, modern and had everything we needed. staff where polite and helpful. we were upgraded to a two room without even asking. very central. will definitely stay here again.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"ok, not great"
Good staff but we would have missed our plane if we had to rely on them giving us a wake up call, both times we stayed both times they forgot and to only change towels once a week unless we paid more was not rightGenuine Expedia guest review
"Great for groups or families"
The apartment location was great and in general terms it was a very pleasant stay. It's in a very quiet street but very close to much more activity around Temple Bar area and Christchurch for restaurants and bars. Some minor drawbacks, WIFI was available in the apartment, however it was a fairly inconvenient to have to pick up a code for each device, […] each day. Only other minor criticism is that the kitchen was a bit lacking - dishwasher didn't work and only 2 pans to cook for 5 people was tricky. Staff were accommodating and allowed us to check-in to an apartment close to another group of friends who were staying there too. On the whole, we found it perfectly adequate, very clean in a great location. Read moreGenuine Expedia guest review
The apartment itself was large, clean, and modern, Only complians would be (1) the sign for the hotel is small and was a bit hard to find and (2) we were there during a few rare hot days - with no a/c the appartmetn got very hot and when we opened our window it was noisy outside from people talking late at night in the courtyard. Otherwise, it is a […] great location and it's very handy to have a kitchen and living room. Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review
"Not for a good night's sleep."
The hotel was as described. Unfortunately, we didn't experience a quiet night's sleep. The courtyard thoroughfare was used by yelling drunkards and staff breaks/rendez-vous. Until that area is closed at night, we won't be going back.Genuine Expedia guest review
"bad customer service"
arrived on an early flight from australia. Although I understand check in was only at 2, I asked if an early check in was possible. I was denied and not offered any alternative (like bag storage or a call back in case a room was ready earlier). Only when I asked they said I could leave the bag in their office and come back later. I came back at 12:30 […] and there was a room available but no one had called me to advise. Read moreGenuine Expedia guest review

"hotel with parking in city"
No toilet paper in the bathroom on arrival. Not a single salt and pepper shaker, or tea bag in aprtment. Private internet access was only in a certain seat in the dining/lounge. Doors would not stay open- constantly slamming shut. Water was very noisy. Could hear people coming and going at al hours of night, also a party upstairs the night before we […] left. "Trip to dublin"
The accommodation was very modern & clean, it isn't however a 'hotel' in the traditional sense & it does feel more like a block of self contained apartments so if your wanting to feel like your on holiday this is perhaps not the place to stay. The location is ok but is a bit of a walk to the main part, we unfortunately had a ground floor apartment which […] was extremely dark all day & unfortunately the lightest it became was at night due to the street lamp outside the bedroom windows. The Augustine Apartments were in a convenient location to sightseeing, shopping & restaurants. I would stay there again & would recommend the Augustine Apartments (StayDublin). "all ok except for dirty balcony and slow dryer"
It's great value for money but as the title indicated, the balcony of the unit we stayed in needed serious cleaning even though the unit itself was spotless. There were dirty socks and plenty of grime so it must be policy not to clean the balcony. Additionally, someone has bashed in the washing machine glass - could be a previous guest but while the […] machine was usable, the dryer was absolutely useless.... the management must know about this because the maintenance man warned us that the dryer was "slow". For people on the road, that's inconvenient. We ended up with damp laundry for the rest of our trip but can't say we were not forewarned. Top marks for the staff though - very responsive! "BE CAREFUL ?"
VERY HARD TO FIND YOUR APARTMENT ITS A MAZE!!!. THE AREA LOOKS AND FEELS VERY UNSAFE AT NIGHT TIME BE CAREFUL.Genuine Expedia guest review
Decor was a bit scruffy. At first the water heater didn't come on overnight. The drain plug in the bathroom sink didn't lift when the lever was pressed, and it eventually stuck. The TV remote control didn't work properly. There was no soap. The terms and conditions I was given on arrival were very off putting.Genuine Expedia guest review
"One night stay but good for the price."
We only stayed for one night because we had a flight the next morning from Dublin so our experience is limited. However, for the price, it seemed to be a good value. The location was convenient to popular attractions/restaurants. If you're not going to spend much time in your room, I would definitely recommend it because of the value.Genuine Expedia guest review
"Augustine apartments - good location"
Stayed at the Augustine apartments in Dublin for a long weekend with a friend whilst going to Punchestown races. The apartments are in a great location close to the River Liffey and near Temple Bar and Grafton Street. The accommodation is pretty good, albeit a little tired, but plenty of space. Staff were friendly on arrival.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
Good apartment in a quiet location convienent for city centre. Friendly helpful staffGenuine Hotels.com guest review
"Downtown but badly maintained"
The apartment complex is located quite close to downtown, but walking to main attractions is still a hike. On the positive side: helpful, if a little tired, staff (gave recommendations for grocery shopping, booked taxi, the desk was always manned), comfortable and clean beds, nice kitchenette. On the negative: rooms and especially bathroom badly need […] thorough cleaning and repainting, carpets are horribly stained, lint in corners, walls in bathroom smeared with makeup and dirty smudges; bedrooms are smallish, decor is scant. In hindsight, would rent a hotel or a different apartment. Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review
"Apartment versus hotel. Apartments win."
I agree with many of the comments made by other guests who have stayed at these apartments, but the apartments should be shown in a positive light. The fire doors do "bang" as they close but they are spring loaded and are there for your safety, so that has to be good. A code is needed to get into your apartment block so you are safe and secure. The […] carpets are showing signs of wear but whilst we were staying there was constant maintenance being carried out and the apartments are well patronised. The apartments are well located and within easy walking to the city centre. For those people who made comments regarding lack of hot water, they need only turn on the booster switch, not hard.... All in all, with the friendly and helpful 24 hour staff a nice place to stay. Read moreGenuine Expedia guest review
"Good combination of price and location"
We are a family of four, with Mom, Dad, and teen and preteen sons. We stayed for four nights at the St Augustine Apts in April 2012. The Good: Great location for the price and great price for the location. You can walk to pretty much anywhere in central Dublin from here. Our apartment was clean, spacious, and reasonably comfortable. The building has […] reception services 24/7. (Other StayDublin properties apparently do not.) When we needed help, the receptionists were very helpful, for instance with maps and directions. Free WiFi for as many devices as you request. There is a shopping street very nearby with groceries, a cafe/bakery, pubs, etc. The kitchen has all the cups, plates, etc you're likely to need for a short stay, an electric kettle, toaster, etc. The Not-So-Good: The sound-proofing was bad, not just between rooms but between apartments. We had a ground-floor apartment facing the courtyard and could easily hear foot traffic to the other apartments. The water heating system is a little odd - make sure you read the instructions before everyone starts showering. The bathroom had one small towel rail for four people and no shelf or anything to store toothbrushes and such. Overall we were happy with our stay and might stay here again. When we arrived, the cab driver alerted us that this hotel was in a dangerous part of town. He let us know not to go in area behind the hotel, as it was a "rough area". The front desk staff were mostly nice. One particular person seemed to be annoyed that we were asking them questions. Our room was ready on-time; however, the laundry machine was broken. […] After time, they gave us a key to another flat to use the washing machine, we ended up just moving in there. Overall, not a bad experience. Read moreGenuine Expedia guest review
"St Augustine apartments - great location!"
we stayed in the apartments for about a week over christmas. The room was cosy and warm with fantastic wifi coverage (free) so we were able to skype our families and keep in touch. Location is great too as only a short walk to centre of town. All the must see sights are close by. The hotwater is inadequate and primitive The lighting is very poor Access to apartments is difficult The security supposedly provided by making all access through the reception is nullified by lax security on the garage gatesGenuine Hotels.com guest review
Really nice apartment, clean and tidy, wifi worked and only a short walk to the tourist areas. It is self catering but there is a SPAR and Tesco Express in the next street. I found the staff to be very helpful, one even googled the Navan Road and found the part where I use to stay 30 years ago. When I am next in Dublin I will stay there againGenuine Expedia guest review

"St.Augustine Apartment - don't stay there"
Live staying in student halls, with lots of heavy locked doors. The main problem is the apartment was dirty. Stained bedroom carpets in bedrooms, shoes sticking to the tiled floor when walking, grubby worn settee. All the walls needed painted as very dirty. The kitchen was the only good thing. The shower head kept falling off the hook hitting you when […] showering. Because of the state of the apartment we stayed out of it during our stay until late at night. Only returning to sleep. Thankfully we only stayed one night. It is a pity because these were probably really nice well finished apartments when first built but have not been maintained well.
