My wife went in hospital at VA-Biloxi for a procedure, and I booked a room at Harrah's to stay the night in order to pick her up the next morning. She tried to call me in the morning to pick her up, but the phone did not work. She tried to call again, I was at the front desk to try to use a phone there. We booked that day because they had a great promotional rate to get people into the casino. So it was fine for the rate. But the staff seemed indifferent. Overall the stay was okay. The room was clean and the people are extremely friendly. I was disappointed that they want to charge you extra for every little thing ON TOP of the DAILY RESORT fee! The hotel is what you would expect from one of the casino hotels. It feels a little less upscale than some of the others when you drive into the parking deck. But, the hotel itself is fine. Just watch the fine print. You'll end up paying an extra $10 at the desk for a "resort fee". Internet wasn't available in the room with an extra charge and I asked […] about it when I checked in. When I commented on it during checkout, the clerk told me I should have been told...and she had a very defensive attitude saying all the other hotels charge for internet but they call it a "resort fee" which, of course, they charged me also.
