Great hotel.. rooms, restaurants, service etc.. but if you need internet forget this hotel. Connection is too slow to get anything done, even just browsing. Pity, because everything else about this hotel is great.

The most ridiculous thing is the layout of the hotel's front. It only allow one lane through. No circling allowed, cars are either in or out to the street. There is no standing for pick-ups, no taxi waiting area. So there is hardly a taxi waiting. I stayed at hotel twice. The first time it took me 50 minutes to get a taxi. I figured it out the second […] time what was wrong with the arrangement of the layout. I tried to tell the girl at 27th floor business lounge. She told me the CBD area lands are so expansive like gold. What does it mean? The hotel is wasting the use of the land of gold. If it allows taxi waiting lane, standing area, circling, and fully use the two lanes, the hotel will be more friendly. However, the room is clear, modern and contemporary. I would suggest the hotel if it has changed the front layout so that it will easy to get a taxi and friendly for visitors. Read more

Impressive lobby. Desk staff average. Breakfast buffet excellent. Chinese restaurant way over-priced and not as high end as they are aiming for. $8 for a local beer, seriously? Bar ridiculously small and smoky - no excuse given the lobby is the size of a small country. Rooms good.

This hotel was really nice in terms of the room and cleanliness. However, the service was some of the worst I have experienced. I was up-sold a package for a nicer room and club level amenities at check-in. A very aggressive selling approach as I wasn't really interested. When I tried to get resolution to my issues the English was suddenly not quite as good as when they were trying to sell me something. Very disappointing. Have stayed in this hotel many times, because of location. It has been just acceptable most of the times, but at my recent stay at Executive floor the place has simply become a ghost castle with a staff like a bunch of Chickens without heads. This is 100% a management fault, the place could be a fine hotel if they just modernized their way of thinking […] and gave the hotel rooms some character, changed the music, signature scent, optimized the staff routines and most important started taking their guest and their damaged brand seriously. Excellent hotel very well kept, friendly and efficient staff. We stayed for 10 days, the room was made twice a day the staff was very friendly and efficient. The only negative was the restaurant, extremely expensive but mediocre food. Fortunately next door is the Fortune Mall with an excellent and clean food court.

A very nice hotel. Very clean and nice arranged rooms. Only issue we had was on 'connecting rooms'. We had assured we would get them when we booked the room. However, we didn't get it. We argued at check-in and after 30 min, they upgraded us, but when we got to the rooms they still were not connected!

We enjoyed this hotel very much. Although it is in a financial-type district, it is very conveniently located to a subway stop, and the subway in Beijing is very cheap and easy to use. The hotel is modern looking. The rooms are large and comfortable. Free internet is a plus. The buffet breakfast is too expensive. Go around the corner to the Fortune Mall and you should be able to find a reasonable place to eat. This Hotel offered us exactly what we needed: a quiet, comfortable, good location, and English speaking support staff when needed. I will add that we took an 'upgrade' on our rooms (4 rooms), which for a flat fee, included breakfast and use of the market-management club facility. This turned out to be a big benefit for us. We had access to the top-floor […] club room, for breakfast and evening gatherings. The room itself was more intimate and friendly for breakfast, and although perhaps not as extensive in food choices as the main lobby breakfast room, we had plenty of choices in a more intimate setting, more conducive to morning business meetings and discussions, with excellent personal service. Included in the upgrade charge, was also evening gathering with drinks (beer, wine, and enough of a selection of additional alcohol choices!), with fresh appetizers (hot) along with excellent light desert choices. Regrettably, our schedules were too full to exploit the exercise room or pool, but surely that was our loss. Hotel and room was of a high quality standard. Fresh linen 2x daily plus a buffet breakfast with a choice of western culture breakfast or traditional asian type of breakfast. Superb hotel! Location seems out of the way initially, but it isn't. Steps away from the subway - a real blessing in sub-zero temperatures. Take the time to wander around the vicinity. In the neighborhood, about 200m from across the hotel where there are apartments, there were nice restaurants, including one called Rice where we had a nice dinner of […] Taiwanese food. You can also find Oriental Taipan, a nice, clean decent massage place at affordable rates. We went there on the recommendation of the hotel concierge, which I have to say is simply outstanding. I booked an executive floor room but found to my annoyance that almost everything was charged for at astronomical rates, e.g. to print a document in the so called business centre was equivalent of £1.20 per copy... We've stayed at this hotel twice now, and both times we stayed in the executive suites. I highly recommend upgrading for the couple hundred extra dollars. The breakfast is amazing, there is also tea time from 2-4:30 (with snacks!) and cocktail hour from 5-7:30 (with appetizers!) in the executive lounge. Turn down service is nice, and you get free water, juice, and beer in the fridge. However, it is really annoying to get to the hotel, as few cab drivers know the subway station. A chinese friend told us it might be easier to mention the hotel name, but only do this after you are in the cab and it is running, or they will hike the price. The subway is super easy though! Fantastiskt hotell i centrala Beijing, hela hotellet (rum, lobby, gym, restaurant, bar) ar otroligt rent och fint, valdigt modernt, och utstralar lyx! Bodde en natt i ett rum pa 12e vaningen som min van bokade och sedan i ett rum pa 21a vaningen som jag bokade, och utsikten var otrolig! Alskar att man hade bade badkar och duschkabin, och separat toalett. […] Badkaret ar placerat precis vid fonstret sa att man kan se ut over staden nar man ligger dar och slappnar av. Stor och skon sang, med den mjukaste madrassen jag legat pa i Asien. Personalen var underbar, de hjalpte till med allt, man kunde boka guidade turer nere i lobbyn, var jattenojd med turen de ordnade till oss, vart varenda krona! Bra mat och drinkar nere pa Havana, en av de tva restauranger som fanns pa bottenplanet, prova deras fish&chips, jattegod! Frukosten maste vara det enda jag blev nagot besviken pa, med tanke pa priset forvantade jag mig att den skulle vara perfekt, men det kan ocksa vara jag som kanske ar krasen. Pannkakorna var helt okej, croissanterna och de andra bakverken likasa. Skulle definitivt bo har igen om jag aker tillbaka till Beijing, rekommenderas starkt!
