Beds were comfortable, shower worked fine; BUT this hotel is very rough around the edges. Price was great for Anchorage. Overall maintenance was poor and housekeeping did a poor job of adequately stocking the room with the necessities.

Stayed there because of location close to airport and food. The room was dirty , the heaters had been shut off had to look around for switch and wait a long time for the room to warm up. There was no hot water waited at least thirt minutes for water to warm up and it never did. Won't stay here again

All we needed was a clean bed and a bathroom for a short night stay before flying out in the morning, so we got what we needed. It looks like the owner is choosing profits over maintenance because the place is very, very run down and seems on its way down the drain. Staff is OK, rooms are DIRTY! Towels had hairs on it and stains, I mean they been folded and hang on the rack but literally has not been washed! Dining area and super cold and accodring to staff breakfast is from 6 am - 9am, but I 7:30 am is nothing left, even cereal nor toast! There was used needles out by the back door, the smell of weed was also present. and walking down the hall a gentleman was asking if we had anything on us "meaning drugs". They offered wifi that didnot work. They started beating on the door at 9am to find out if we were staying another night or if we were checking out at noon, called a half hour later […] to ask the same question. i was very satisfied. in Anchorage even Motel 6 is $120 plus per night. Travelodge was solid with a good breakfast. not fancy but very solid. Close to airport with shuttle van service

for the online amount of around eighty buckaroos plus a few dollars plus the ability to get to the airport in a free shuttle at 3 a.m. - this hotel was all we needed. Yes the walls are thin and it is in a ho hum neighborhood (aka bad) and things are a bit run down, however it is CLOSE to the airport and has : : the most important thing to us: a free […] 24hour shuttle to the airport. So yes, Free coffee in room plus free breakfast plus free shuttle = a winner. Yes the mattress was kinda thin - ish (could feel the springs) but if you are in a pickle, this hotel is JUST FINE - so go for it. Maid didn't clean the room one day and when I went to the front desk, was told she already went home and it was too late (at 5:15 PM). Ran out of kleenix (never replaced), toilet paper left on back of tank (empty rolls). Not a very nice part of town. Never stay here again.

People at desk were nice.. Hotel sketchy looking on outside. Was at 2nd floor and near emergency exit. Which was accessed all night by a smoker. The hallway reeks of smoke even though rooms are non- smoking. Bath had lots of mold stains in the caulking .Hotel needs work. It was a horrible service. First they gave a wrong key only to find out that there was already somebody inside the room!!! Then, there were holes in the wall of the room. Then, there were not sufficient blankets.Then, there was no hot water at 7 AM. Had to wait an hour. Overall, I would not come back again here ever!

Bfirst room we were checked into beds were not made...looked around garbage on the floor full pop cup on table...looked in bathroom ...no faucets in the wall for the shower..they were on the floor of the tub. 20 mins.later the guy shows up back at front desk...this is at 3 a.m. It took 4 more rooms before he found one to rent us. The couple before us got a room that was stripped of it light and bathroom fixtures and missing sheets and towels. Several rooms had to be checked (and were trashed by former guests) before they found one that was ready for us. The halls were dark with peeling wallpaper. I would have to say I would not stay at this facility again. It was "okay" for just one night, but the walls were paper thin (I could hear the people next door talking). Towels from a previous guest were still hanging in the bathroom. Overall, it was just a dowdy-looking and feeling hotel.

This unit gives you a hot breakfast, an excellent location near the airport and near the town's activities, and not much else. You don't need much else in Anchorage. It is clean. It is comfortable. It is inexpensive. It has what a simple hotel needs.

For the price that is advertised, versus the comparable spots around the nearby area, I won't complain. The first room they assigned us was not turned-over yet; the second room they assigned us was already occupied with another occupant's luggage. The final room was clean, but the doors are sagging. The room can hear any person chatting in the hallway, […] as well as footsteps. The remote given in the room only turns on the tv; you have to manually change the channel because the remote is for a cable box. Breakfast was sufficient. The airport transportation was satisfactory to get us swiftly from the port to the hotel and then back, even with construction on the road. And I will credit them that they held our luggage for the day while we went sightseeing. (there is a Rte 7 that will take you downtown) At least I give them an A for effort, and you can't argue with the price. And, you're next to the seabase, so if that is something you prefer, this is a good location. Read more

The room was clean, and less expensive that most options available in Anchorage (especially at the height of tourist season). If you just need a place to sleep while hoping to/from the airport, the location is great and teh price is right.
