The hotel wasn't busy when we stayed. Staff were very nice. My concern was with cleanliness, there was hair on the toilet when we arrived. We found hair in the bathtub.

The Internet was unavailable because of a long-term project on the street in front of the hotel. This caused us some problems, but we were given a discount on our breakfasts. Was there for a wedding, good location, easy access to interstate and gettng around Sioux City. Missed not able to get a bloody mary for breakfast, but loved the fridge and microwave in room....Sioux City is the home to Jolly Time Popcorn. Made hotel should have that in the lobby.

Hotel staff were terrific. Everything was clean and in good repair. Food in the restaurant was unusually good. My only complaint is that the mattress on my king size bed sagged in the middle.

The best things about the stay were the air beds and ability to keep the fan portion of the air conditioning on constantly while just the cool air of the air conditioning would blow if it needed. We had few complaints with this hotel, our last stop on an 8 day trip. Compared to the 3 star hotel we stayed in just before this, this was very comparable in size, comfort and amenities. The only annoyance was the house keeping staff knocking twice the morning of check out to see if they could clean the room. What ever happened to the plan to clean […] rooms after guests checked out? In today's constant data updates house keeping should be able to tell who has checked out and who has not. The bed was comfortable, the Henry Miller desk chair was interesting, and internet access worked. We had a river view room, so we could watch the workers still working on repairing the flood damage from 2011 on the river bank. Read more

The hotel is on the pricey side for town - but a very nice place to stay. Breakfast is of course not included...as the more expensive the hotel the less you get free. The cold breakfast was $5.00 and the hot breakfast $10.00. We attended a wedding in the hotel and the convenience of staying right on site was nice.

Where do I start: First drink machine on 3rd floor is programmed wrong as when my friend pushed Diet Pepsi he got Pepsi and when he put in second monies he pushed Pepsi and got Diet and third time pushed Aquafina Water and got a lemon lime soda. Finally went down to the little store in lobby to get what he needed. Second we ordered room service and […] was told 12 hot wings came on plate and when we got them only 8 and no sauce so called and had to ask to get the other 4 and the next set after saying something came with sauce on top like they should have. Then we went to put drinks in our fridge and the fridge was wobbly and fell toward you because it was not bolted in and also had to lift this piece of wood up to open fridge. The bed had a bad hole in the mattress that made it hard to get up, the bathroom was stuffy/hot as no A/C got in there as well as the hallway being stuffy/hot and smelled of smoke even though non-smoking floor. Over hear others walking down hallway discussing the smell also. After the first couple things go wrong you really start to notice everything. Staff OK, just everything else, except for room service. The room was lovely and clean. The staff was excellent. I got in ahead of schedule and was able to get into my room early. The "pantry" near the front desk was convenient for my late night ice cream run. My 6-year-old spent most of her time in the pool. The water was warm and the hot tub was spacious. Was not greeted with a lot of warmth. I know it was Christmas Eve day and I do feel for those that have to work on a holiday but please don't take it out on me. I was asked for a card for incidentals as I had already paid my bill through hotels.com when I booked the room. I was never advised an actual fee would be held on my account of $50. It has been […] over 48 hours since I checked in and it is still on my account. I called the hotel and they advised they only do that when you book with a 3rd party. So if you book with hotels.com any Hilton will put a hold on your card for at least $50 more. I am not happy. Also the beds are very firm, even if you turn the dial down to minimum firmness. Excellent front desk service, went out of their way to make our stay wonderful. Bed with selectable firmness settings was very comfortable. Beautiful view of the river and sunset from the room was unforgettable. Bev's Resturant has a great bar, delishious food and great views. Free taxi service to airport was arranged without a hitch. When I booked th is hotel, I clicked on the option that included breakfast. They said it was not included so we didn't get that. It appears to be a communication issue between Experian and the hotel.
