good family hotel, breakfast is excellant value pool area is nice , little fruit & veg garden is a great idea, great chillis ! rooms are clean and spacious, if you have noisy neighbours you can here them, but this time was better shame the bar is so empty, expensive compared with the village, but stunning views

We had the most amazing family holiday. The hotel is brand new, very clean and the staff are extremely friendly. The resort is fairly small, however, with three pools (baby, families and adults) there was always plenty of free sun lounges. The hotel is also close to a small fishing village with some good restaurants located around a small square. There […] was live entertainment which kept the kids entertained whilst we waited for our food. There are also some of the best beaches on the Algarve close by, from the small and secluded coves to the massive stretches of sand. The restaurants on the beaches were all excellent - and we can highly recommend the sardines, barbequed sea bream and piri-piri chicken. In summary, Vitor Village is a superb hotel that is excellently located and caters well for families. You do however need a car to explore the surrounding area, particularly if you want to experience the beaches. Read more

My wife and I had a wonderful stay at this hotel in August, 2012. I would rate this hotel as excellent all round.The staff are helpful, attentive, polite and cannot do enough to help you.Our room was spotless and the maids very hard working. The staff was very friendly and helpful during our stay. The hotel overall was very clean except the balcony of our room which apparently hadn't been cleaned at all. The hotel has beautiful views over the garden and the near harbour and is very quiet good for families with children and couples. Good location, friendly staff, and clean but very noisy rooms- walls and ceilings must be paper thin and for that reason I would not stay here again. Maybe we were unlucky with the room we had, but if you can ask to be on the top floor that might help, but we could also hear everything from the rooms either side.

We stayed for a week and had a nice time. The weather was awful for 7 days but that was a freak event so we were told. Were not able to use the pools due to the cold weather but the who complex is very nice and the staff are very pleasant. Rooms are a bit cold but only because they are designed for the warm weather. the apartments are spacious and well appointed to guest who honor high quality (linen, noise proofness) but why did they design bathrooms so small and tiny. Breakfast was - as usual in PT - not really a highlight Anyway good value!

Vito's Village is a quality hotel in great location. The hotel has good facilities, with limited internet facilities (a good thing in my book for a relaxing holiday!). However the location makes it stand out. The village of Ferragudo is a quaint fishing village, unspoilt like Portimao (avoid!) that looms across the river. Priai Grande beach was fantstic […] for my 18 month old daughter being sheltered from the Atlantic rollers found on other nearby beaches. The hotel runs a free shuttle but it's a pleasant enough (if hilly) 20-30 min walk with a baby stroller. Staff are very helpful and can arrange local day trips (well worth a look). Read more

What a great choice we made,reception staff very welcoming and helpfull during our weeks stay here.We arrived early and the room wasnt ready, as we were self catering we went and did some shopping getting good directions to the local supermarket even though there is a small shop on site for daily essentials.Any request was delt with very quickley. The main village of Ferragooda is 5/10 minutes walk from reception down hill where plenty of places to eat are situated,the walk back is a little harder as the hill is more of a challange after a good meal and a few drinks . Fabulous!! What a fantastic week we had at Vitor's Village. Located in a quiet fishing village, it was just what we wanted! The rooms are gorgeous, very modern and clean with your own balcony. With 3 swimming pools our baby daughter was spoilt for choice! She, and we, had a ball! And as for the staff, we could not fault them! The lady in the shop was […] particularly friendly and regularly offered us advice on where to go, what to try and went out of her way to help us! The staff on reception and in the restaurant were also just amazing and went above and beyond what was expected! Thank you, thank you! We recently returned from a long weekend at Vitor's Village and could not have asked for more from our trip. The accommodation was even better than we expected, the apartment was immaculate and very spacious and the whole complex was very well looked after. We enjoyed the swimming pools and outdoor jacuzzi which were also very clean and well looked […] after. It was less than a 5 minute walk to the square where we had some delicious meals, we would definately recommend Farragood, which served amazing fish and meat dishes for a reasonable price. We also tried the hotel's Purple restaurant and were very impressed with the food there too and the hotel staff were all extremely helpful and friendly. The shuttle bus goes to a good choice of beaches and is very reliable, we also walked to one of the beaches but this took about 20-30mins. Overall this hotel made our break even better than we could have hoped for, definately would recommend!! Read more

Good rates in the low season but be aware that rooms are facing in all directions and some dont see the sun all day while other have nice garden space/view. Great for families with activities like table tennis, air hockey, pool table ++ Nice terrasse with a bar and a view of Portimao Fully equipped kitchenette. Lacks a beach within walking distance. Lacks free Internet. "Pay by the hour" just doesn't fly anymore

Goede prijs kwaliteit verhouding, veel Nederlanders wat voor kinderen geweldig is. Schoon santair en netjes in onderhoud. Rustig en toch dicht bij het plein van Ferragudo, waar het 's avonds goed toeven is. Prachtige stranden dicht in buurt. Goed en zeer betaalbaar eten, vooral voor de visliefheber ook in buurt van hotel.

A estadia foi extremamente agradável, o apartamento era bonito,espaçoso e muito limpo. O serviço foi sempre profissional e muito simpático.A única sugestão que daria, no sentido de melhorar era que os apartamentos tivessem material de limpeza para as loiças de cozinha, pois tivemos que comprar, por exemplo detergente da loiça e esfregão de limpeza.

Un hotel estupendo, muy tranquilo, por lo menos en esta época, sin duda volvería. Está en un pueblo marinero con mucho encanto, donde comer bien, pero al mismo tiempo tambien está cerca de Portimao y de Praia da Rocha, con mas movimiento.

Net terug van een heerlijk weekje in Vitor's village.Een aanrader voor zowel stelletjes als gezinnen.Het hotel ademt een lekker ontspannen en gezellige sfeer uit.De appartementen zijn ruim,comfortabel en worden perfect bijgehouden.Op loopafstand iigt het dorpje met een gezellig pleintje waaraan allemaal gezellige restaurantjes liggen.Ferragudo ligt […] prima t.o.v. een aantal leuke plaatsen en mooie stranden in de omgeving.Wij gaan hier zeker nog een keer terug.Zowel Portugal als Vitor's Village zijn ons prima bevallen. Nybyggt hotell på en höjd med fantastisk utsikt från sin Sky bar. Bra priser för att vara ett hotell. Hotellpersonalen var lite oerfaren men alla förutom en var jättetrevliga. Hotellet har flera pooler på 2 ställen och vi hade inget problem att få en solstol. Mestadels holländska barnfamiljer på hotellet när vi var där. Hotellet ligger precis intill […] en liten charmig by (Ferragudo) på en kulle. I byn finns det gott om restauranger och dom verkar ha aktiviteter (musik/festivaler) flera gånger i veckan. Intill byn finns en badstrand och på andra sidan viken en stad med 40.000 invånare som vi inte besökte. Jag rekommenderar att man hyr bil ifall man inte vill ligga i hotellpoolen större delen av tiden. Byn intill hotellet är liten och vi tyckte att det räckte gott med en dag där. Read more
